Bloody and Distorted
Erin’s P.O.V
It was dark and Christopher and I were watching a ritual unfold before us on the other side of the door and for the past week while Hannah had been cursing my name he basically was getting me ready for my role… every night there was something new. I watched this young girl get stabbed and as she fell they twisted the blade in her throat as the blood poured into this ancient bowl and Christopher covered my mouth shaking his head at how I could still be shocked by this.
“Be ready” He whispered in my ear putting the blade in my hand and his other hand went from my mouth to the door slowly pushing it open. He stepped in front of me and held his hand right by my chest before tapping his knife against the wall.
“Sorry to interrupt… but ya see here… the king needs you” Christopher said and I had no fucking clue which thing or demon he was talking to, it was completely silent and I took a deep breath and I felt my hair move and I quickly swung the blade behind me making blood spatter on my chest.
“Now now, there is no need for hostility” I said and I could see a half smile form on Christopher’s face and he stepped forward and chopped of the head of the creature that was torturing the girl and he wiped the goo from his face and I walked forward.
“The king is building an… elite… army, and we have been watching you and we know what you’re capable of… now come on, let’s just get you out of this… hole that you call a home and you can live a little, raise a little hell” I said sitting down at the edge of a table and the demon just growled lowly looking between the two of us.
“Well I’m sure the king would love to know that you have a human pet running around with you… last time I checked you are breaking the law” The demon said grabbing his things and Christopher growled walking up to him nearly piercing the demons throat with his fingertips.
“SHOW SOME RESPECT! SOON SHE SHALL BE MY QUEEN!” Christopher spat and the demon laughed at him and just sat there teasing towards me and while he has patience for this I didn’t… I had enough these past few days, I walked over and reached over Christopher and sliced into the demon over and over again till he was nothing but an empty meatsack….
“You ruined my shirt….” I said to myself and then turned around groaning because I knew that Sebastian had really wanted that demon and I was going to be in trouble. I left with Christopher and arrived back to his place and before we went into the office he grabbed my neck and pushed me to the wall.
“Mind your manners today E… you’ve been treading a fine line with him the past week” He said to me and I just nodded and when we walked in I grabbed a drink and took it down holding my arms out beside me and turned my back to him knowing that punishment would come.
“Which one of you is it today… you or Hannah?” I asked quietly preparing myself and it was silent… great one of the really pissy days… I could hear the click of the heels and I knew that it was Hannah now that was going to do this. Christopher placed a kiss on my lips and I knew that he was kinky and loved to watch this. Nothing came out of Hannah’s mouth but a sigh as she gave me at least 10 lashes on my back….
Tori’s P.O.V
I woke up from a very… intimate… night with Johnny who was still asleep in the bed next to me. I lied there watching his chest move up and down lightly before staring up at the ceiling. I was still scrambling through my brain to find out what exactly Erin had done… she had come to me two days ago saying that she wanted to finalize the stuff to keep Sebastian and Christopher out of their parents mind. But she was off… she seemed to have lost a lot of her confidence and she nearly fainted when she went for food with Johnny and I.
“Babe” I heard Johnny say as he smiled turning over to me, I smiled back and he rubbed my cheek lightly.
“What are you doing up so early?” He asked with his arm around me and I smiled and just turned towards him a bit more leaving a small kiss on his lips.
“Not gonna lie I was thinking about the other day when Erin nearly passed out in the living room… I just don’t understand how she and Hannah can completely-“ I was saying but I just stopped in my tracks and sat up quickly followed by Johnny wondering what the hell was up.
“What? What is going on?” He asked and I grabbed the spellbook from under the bed, I flipped through the index and then further into the book… FUCK HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!
“Oh my god… she took all of Hannah’s anxiety… That’s personal gain…” I said quietly and then got up getting dressed and grabbing my locket reading through more of the books trying to pinpoint exactly what could be happening to Erin. I was quiet for at least three or so hours and Johnny came back in with food and I was rubbing my head after reading through the consequences…
“I need to find out what has been going on with Erin… but she won’t ever come out and tell me what she has been seeing… if I am correct this means that Erin has taken in a lot of her anxiety… but she has been experiencing hallucinations… I need to call Hannah” I said quietly and grabbed my phone… I was hesitant at first to call her but then I finally just did it.
“What’s up Tori” She answered sounding a little bit out of breath.
“I really need you to come over here” I said to her and she sighed and I could hear Sebastian talking to her in the background.
“I am really really busy right now Tori… I am getting married you know that!” She said with a little bit of an attitude.
“GOD DAMMIT HANNAH ITS ABOUT WHAT ERIN DID FOR YOU! THIS IS A CODE RED FOR FUCK SAKES GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE NOW!” I screamed and then hung up…. I waited for like 20 minutes before she showed up in my living room… hopefully her hatred of what Erin did wouldn’t come in the way of her realizing that she is family and she needs help…
Erin’s P.O.V
Christopher took me home and I had sat on the bed holding a picture from one of the guys
band practices and I smiled and just put it back on the nightstand and Zack came through my window nearly scaring the living daylights out of me… but im sure I did with the fact that I was covered in demon blood, I stripped into different clothes and wiped down my body and when I came out Zack was just fiddling with the necklace he gave me in our Junior year, he came over and hugged me.
“Come away with me E” He said into my ear and I just teared up.
“It’s not that simple” I said pulling away and he just took my hand in his.
“We will keep you away… we will make it stop… we will find a way together to save
Hannah!” He pleaded to me and I just sat down with my hand covering my mouth as I silently cried.
“I CAN’T! THERE IS NO GOING BACK NOW!” I shouted.
“I DON’T CARE WHAT HAS FUCKING HAPPENED! WE AREN’T OVER! IF WE ARE GONNA DIE… WELL IT’S GONNA BE TOGETHER! I can’t let you do this E….” He said getting quiet at the end and I just had no idea what to say… it was almost like there was no way to function knowing that Hannah nearly hated my existence.
“There’s no more time Zack… the wedding is coming… and when the comes and Hannah goes with Sebastian.. I go too… just let me go and you won’t hurt anymore” I said and he came over putting his hands to my cheeks and looking me right in the eyes.
“I’m gonna hurt with or without you… but at least… you ease the pain… you watch… I will find a way Erin, we are all gonna pull through this… and hell im gonna be the one to marry you” He said… my heart was racing… I didn’t expect all that… but did anyone realize that right now while he was talking… my reality was becoming distorted from helping Hannah…
