Zack’s P.O.V
I sat in front of Matt, Johnny, Jimmy and Brian tapping my foot silently as we watched Tori flip through pages of the books that she had inherited from her grandmother, she was searching for a way to send them back to hell and never come back, it was a constant struggle.
“I still haven’t heard anything from either of the girls, Hannah disappeared at school and Erin never went home technically” Jimmy stated and Tori sat there still quickly glancing over pages.
“She was with Christopher guys, at his and Sebastians place, then I caught wind that they were at Hannah’s place and I can sense that they are both distraught” Tori said and Johnny sat there rubbing her back and you could tell that short shit really fucking cared for her.
“You said that you put those hex bag things all around the place right? Like Christopher and Sebastian can’t get in and can’t hear or see anything that we are talking about correct?” I asked Tori and she nodded and then looked up pointing to all of the rings that she got the girls to charm for us.
“DO NOT under any circumstances take those rings off okay, seriously they keep them out of your mind and the way they work is that they have to hold onto a part of your soul, so if you lose them or by any chance Sebastian or Christopher remove them for you… you will most likely die and I’ll be damned if us girls are gonna let that happen to you all” Tori said before going back to her work and all of us jumped when a crying Erin ran into to Tori’s house and the moment that she realized that we were all here she rubbed under her lashes and tried to stop.
“S-sorry I didn’t know that you were here” She said trying to get all of her words out and she tried to take deep breaths and I got up and rubbed her back gently and she was so tense and she seemed almost like she was really disgusted with herself. Tori got up and brought her some coffee and she sat there with her head on my shoulder.
“I can’t believe this has gone so far” Erin whispered and Tori just leaned forward a little bit and held her hand and she looked Erin right in the eyes.
“E, you had no clue okay, Hannah didn’t even have a clue, they are manipulative bastards and bad people, all you can do it sit back for now and hope that we find a way to put an end to all of this” Tori said and Erin just picked her head up and ran her hands threw her hair gently and she looked to Tori again.
“I don’t suppose you have something I can make a potion in?” Erin asked Tori still trying to get all the mascara smudges from under her eyes as Tori grabbed stuff and Erin went off raiding Tori’s kitchen, she set stuff up and I walked out there with Matt and watched her. I grabbed her hand and she looked up at me like.
“What are you doing Erin?” I asked her and she looked almost as if she was going insane.
“Zack not now, I need to do this, I need to do it for Hannah, I can’t explain myself to you just let me fucking do this PLEASE!” She said yelling at the end and I quickly withdrew my hand and she started making some kind of.. substance... and it smelled horrible, she was very precise in what she was doing and at one point in time Brian tried getting her to stop because it had been 5 hours but no luck, after another hour though… Erin stopped dead in her tracks holding her hand to her head…
Erin’s P.O.V
I had to do this… I had to finish this potion… I only knew what it would do for Hannah but
not what the side effects would be for the spell that I was trying to accomplish… I was way out of my league… this was our mothers level. Everyone was watching me and I was trying to finish it and the moment I put the last of the ingredients in the potion and blended it together I felt dizzy and I stopped all movement placing my hand on the counter.
Where did my lovely pet run off to? I heard Christopher’s voice start to invade my brain and I shook my head trying to fully block it out, it was light and I knew that there were hex bags in here but after last night the hold on me was strong. Matt came over and he gripped my shoulders shaking me a little bit.
“Fight it E… don’t let anyone in” Matt stated… he was a strong person; he was always there for Hannah and I no matter what. He took the witch thing better than any of the guys. I sat there blankly staring at him before I heard Chris again.
You know what happens if I get angry.. my threats are never empty Matt gripped tighter and I put the potion into a drink that was contained in a thermos and I hugged Matt and smiled ever so slightly at Zack before I ran out the door and sped back over to Hannah’s, I found her in her room still and her makeup was completely run down her face, when her gaze came up to mine and her hair lifted I could hear a weird noise and my eyes fell to her wrists which had open wounds and wounds that were dried with blood that her hair was stuck to and I set the thermos down on the nightstand and quickly not even caring grabbed her favorite towel throwing it over her wrists and I started crying again.. I was angry with her and hurt that she was consider leaving me.. leaving Jimmy… going out this way.. I took her into the bathroom and ran the bath water and she sat there lifeless almost as the bathtub filled up.
“I don’t need you looking at me naked in the tub” She whispered and I kept completely silent grabbing the thermos and I could feel her trying to use what little strength she had to channel her powers and close the door but I was stronger… I flipped the lid down on the toilet and sat there pouring water over her wrists and then disinfecting them and she just didn’t move.
“Get out!” She said still whispering but she was trying so hard to yell at me and I just stopped and leaned down a little.
“You need to shut up right now… how dare you think that this was the answer to everything, you are not to fucking blame for this Hannah, no matter how violated I feel right now it is never your fault for something that you had ZERO FUCKING CONTROL OVER! I am your cousin, family, your flesh and blood and you wanted to straight up leave me” I said to her and she just sat there and I dumped some more alcohol on her wrists and she squirmed.
“I just wanted everyone to move on with their lives… I just wanted Jimmy to be happy and safe, I just wanted you to be safe and not have to live with something you really didn’t want” She said and I just sighed.
“We are in this together Hannah, we made a logical decision between the TWO of us and I agreed to the terms on my own and made my own choices, we need to get you hydrated, drink some of this, I think you will like it” I said to her and opened the thermos, she drank most of it as I washed the dried blood from her hair and…chanted my little spell; after I finished I semi smiled at her. I grabbed the towel opening it up and looking away and she took it wrapping it around herself making sure she was dry before covering her hair with it and grabbing her robe.
“E… thank you for this; and I really am sorry about Christopher… and Sebastian… I didn’t even realize that it was happening” She stated and I hugged her lightly and I rubbed her back.
“I told you, I made my own choices, we are doing whatever we have to do and it’s never going to change that we are family and I am always going to be here for you Hannah” I stated and she seemed a bit groggy but at the same time she seemed to be coping well. She lied down in bed and insisted that we eat ice cream in bed like we used to do all time and I lied with her and she seemed so calm.
“I thought I was going to be more of a mess than this E…” She said and she was supposed to be… she wasn’t coping on her own though, her anxiety was supposed to be through the roof… the potion… my own personal concoction… was for her own good…
But with every spell comes consequence for the one who did it… and I knew right away that it was not minor… but I wanted my cousin to be okay, be the happy woman she was right now…
