Warning Shot
Erin’s P.O.V
Hannah was trying so hard not to break down again… after everything that happened this evening honestly the only part that was killing me right now was when she said he was going to kill me in most horrible possible way.
“This is really only to end me?” I asked letting a tear fall from my eye… I felt totally blind to this.. Christopher sat there saying that I am gonna know him and stuff.. but here I am just learning the endgame.
“I have to do this Erin… there isn’t another way around it, I don’t want you to get hurt” She said and I was just really unsure of this… but I had to know exactly what she meant by the most horrible way of dying. I reached out and put my hand on hers messing with this pearl ring that she got from her grandmother a while back and as soon as I touched it I flashed into my own mind… the sight was taking over again.
*My head was down and I was groggy and my vision was blurry for a moment before my eyes adjusted to the light again. I looked around and there was nothing in this room but a table and a bright light, it was cold and there was a dark feel to the room. I didn’t know what the fuck was going on. I picked myself up but was pulled down by shackles that were hooked up to the chair and cuffed around my wrists. I looked around again and then heard footsteps and felt someone play with my hair and when I looked up it was Christopher.
“You were warned not to get in the way!” He roared in my face before punching me harshly and I screamed and my face fell to the side before he came behind me grabbing underneath my chin with both hands making me look up.
“THERE IS NO WAY STOP THIS!” He roared and I just cried out and he pushed my face into the table… usually I was mouthy and a nuisance but as of right now there was nothing coming from me but my own screams. He pushed my face into the table roughly holding his hands in my hair…… but before more could play out everything froze. And I was observing this from the other side of the room.
“You see what happens… if you get in the way Erin… this is just a small portion of what I am gonna fucking do to you” I heard Christopher say… but he wasn’t actually there…*
“ERIN COME BACK TO ME!” Hannah yelled and I just looked at her with wide eyes.
“What the fuck is he going to do to me…” I asked… mainly to myself… but this was just a kick in the face. She roamed my mind a little bit and I knew that she was because she was squinting her eyes a little bit.
“Christopher was over here earlier talking to your dad? Why?” She asked and I had to do a double take because she was going onto something completely different.
“I don’t know, when I walked in they were talking about business and shit and my dads career and of course my dad was head over heels in love with him and he introduced him as Christopher White and architect that was merging with the company our dads work for. It was weird even my dad said that Chris and I should get together some time…” I said remembering what happened not but like 4 or 5 hours ago… Chris was being a gentleman with my dad and when I was ‘introduced’ to him he kissed my hand and it was just weird… but I don’t know… something was off.
“So he is playing a role to get into your life? That seems really excessive for someone who just wants to end you” Hannah said and I replayed my vision in my brain before my dad popped through the door and just stared at us.
“What’s up?” I asked him.
“I think that Hannah should head home for the evening, her dad wants her to come and take her meds” He said and Hannah groaned hopping off the bed and I smiled and heard her walk downstairs. My father sat down at the end of my bed.
“What did you think of Christopher? He is a pretty good guy, has a decent job and now he is gonna be working with your father and I.. and I think one other person, I think Hannah will be meeting her fathers partner tomorrow” He said and I was gonna have to text Hannah about this… the fuckers were playing hardball and trying to get us through the only people that we have left.
“What the hell are you saying dad… you know I have a boyfriend and since when are you of fan of me dating in general?” I asked him confused by the fact that he was practically shoving a man in my face.
“Well the we are all having a work dinner and you and Hannah will come and be nice to them.. you two are being really big spoiled brats and it is going to stop I will not have you embarrassing me Erin… and I know that you will change your attitude. If you don’t then I am not allowing you to hang out with Zack and his friends anymore” My father said and got up slamming my door behind him and I shot up opening it and yelling at him.
“IM 18 DAD YOU CAN’T DO THIS!” I nearly screamed at him and he stopped before walking into his room.
“You watch your fucking tone Erin right now and realize that you are still in my house and you will do and act accordingly, god your fucking mother would be so disappointed in your actions Erin” He said and it hit me like a bullet to the heart and I backed up closing the door and falling to the floor crying. I know I have been pissy and upset but I don’t think she would want me to let Hannah throw her life away… but how could he say that.. I needed air so I hopped out the window texting Hannah.
Oh my fucking god… I can’t fucking believe my father… this is so fucked up he said that my mother would be disappointed in my actions… like WHAT THE FUCK… and we have BIGGER issues like Sebastian and Christopher getting to us through our dads and their line of work! Anyways please respond ASAP –E I texted to Hannah hoping that she wasn’t going to take forever to reply… she had to know… but since she was on her meds she may not be awake. I found myself at Zack’s and I tapped on his window.
Zack’s P.O.V
I heard tapping on the window and to my surprise it was Erin… her makeup was running and she seemed really upset so I pulled her through and held her while we lied on the bed. We really didn’t talk too much at first but I really needed her to be upfront with me. She grabbed a tissue and started wiping off her ruined makeup.
“Talk to me Erin… let me in” I said to her and she just held back more tears.
“This just keeps getting worse.. I want this to stop! I want to be happy with you and for Hannah to be happy with Jimmy… now Sebastian and Christopher are going through are fathers and my father snapped and called me a spoiled brat and that if I didn’t stop him and go to the dinner that Sebastian and Christopher are gonna be at he forbids me to be with you and hang out with you and the guys!” She said and lost it falling into my arms. I sat there stroking her hair and trying to come up with a plan that would keep her safe.. but what am I gonna do… this is some demonic shit.. and the guys and I… well we are just guys. But I wanted Erin and was gonna stick with her no matter what she needed..
“Shh it’s alright we won’t let it come to that Erin, you are gonna go to that dinner and we are gonna be able to see each other and Tori and the guys are gonna help figure this out while you and Hannah keep them occupied. I swear that I am never gonna stop loving you Erin” I said to her and she just turned her head and kissed me and I locked lips with her and her tear stained cheeks were warm and I could feel her body heat.
“I love you so much” She whispered before kissing me again and I flipped her over and lied her on her back and locked my hands with hers while we exchanged the most passionate kisses ever. Her hands broke from mine and as I grinded my hips against hers she ran them up my shirt onto my back digging into it with her nails. My left hand ran down the sides of her body and I squeezed her hip gently and she moaned softly. I moved my hand up her shirt against her smooth stomach and squeezed her breast gently…. This was the closest we had ever been and it felt so right but when my hand moved back down to her jeans she cried out in pain moving away and grabbing her wrist tightly.
“What’s wrong?” I asked her and she just continued holding her wrist tightly almost like it was killing her.
“Talk to me” I said running my hand down her cheek and she just got up and practically shot out the window… great now she is running from things… I had to make sure that the guys and I had an alternative plan since the girls are preoccupied.
Erin’s P.O.V
My wrist was on fire and I literally felt like something was wrong. I ran three blocks before I hit Hannah’s house and all the lights were off so I knew that she was asleep and I really didn’t want her dad to find out that I was here. I walked around for a while before making my way towards my house and I sat down for a moment on a bench trying to catch my breath and I rubbed my wrist trying to make the pain stop.
“It’s a warning” The voice said and I knew who it was… it was crystal clear, Christopher had found me yet again and he wasn’t letting up on getting me. I shot up and ran over and started pushing his chest and hitting him.
“YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE” I screamed in his face and he grabbed me by my neck pulling my face right to his and his eyes were dark as the pitch black sky above us, I paused for a brief moment before I pushed him again trying to get loose; he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me and I wiggled kicking my feet, my hair fell over my face with each quick movement and after a moment he put my back to his chest once again tightly wrapping his cold hand over my neck and his lip piercings grazed my ear.
“You are gonna get another strike Erin… you know what happens if you get another one right” He asked and I shook my head trying to stay still but his other hand was exploring my abs and hips. His lips came closer to my ears and his breath was warm despite his body temperature and for some reason I got lost in the feeling of his touch and closed my eyes leaning my head back onto his shoulder breathing in softly.
“I will kill the man you were just letting touch you… the one who keeps you away from me, that is what happens with strike two Erin and I know that you don’t want that, you are fighting just to resist me” He said, his voice dark and low and I opened my eyes and pulled forward dropping to the ground and then lunging forward taking a few steps away. He just stared at me before taking a step towards me and as reaction I moved back.
“Oh it’s the chase you like” He said and I saw him move forward and I ran off towards my house quickly grabbing out my phone calling Hannah about a thousand times before she answered.
“Erin what the hell?” She groaned into the phone and I was still running.
“I think he is following me Hannah please I need you! My house please!” I said dropping my phone and picking up the pace… who knows whether he was still following me…
