World In Flames

Chapter Three

"So everything is in order?" I asked the man on the other end of the phone.

"Yep, the wedding certificate, social security cards, and birth certificates are complete, we're just waiting on the passports, which should be in in about 3 days."

"Three days?! The man is leaving right after the wedding! We don't have three days, Pierre!"

"Well, can't you just mail it to him after it comes in?"

"Listen to me," Trevor huffed into the phone, trying desperately to calm himself, "The man told me he planned to completely relocate, he doesn't know where his address will be. We need those passports TODAY!"

"Okay, sir, I will see what I can do."

Trevor hung up hastily without replying. He was sick of that man, always putting an unnecessary delay on all of his orders. Ridiculous.

Ever since Trevor got started in this business when he was 19, Pierre was the only person he had dealt with, but only because that was who his Dad had always dealt with before he had passed and left 'the family business' to him.

Trevor was beginning to think he needed to find another dealer, but seriously, it's very hard to find people from his line of work.

A washed up, CIA agent, who broke bad and found a way to make money by producing authentic documents, such as birth certificates. He used to do it all the time for witness protection, so he knew exactly how to do it, and he the connections to get it done. Pierre was a rarity whether Trevor liked it or not. He needed him.

Trevor decided it was time to go tell Matt that there was a delay on the passports. Honestly he dreaded this conversation, not because he was afraid of his reaction, but because the man just down right creeped him out. The man was banging his daughter for Christs sake!

Trevor tried his best to push that thought to the very back of his mind before stepping out of his office. The chapel was nearly deserted; just Matt.. his daughter, and some other guy, probably the witness.

"Are we ready to get started?" Trevor called, plastering a fake smile onto his face.

Matt stood up, and smiled, pulling his daughter into his arms and kissing her forehead.

"Yes sir, I think we are." Matt staring deeply into his daughter's eyes, not looking away from her face as he spoke.

"Alright, right this way please."

The three followed Trevor down a long hallway and out into a room filled with about 6 pews. At the far end was a tall white arch covered with pink, orange, and blue flowers.

Trevor pulled out his bible and walked to the front of the room, and turned to face everyone. Matt and Kiera were walking slowly up the aisle, and appeared to be in deep conversation; the witness took a seat at the back of the room, looking utterly bored. Trevor cleared his throat.

"Can we hurry this along, please?" He asked, irritated.

Instead of replying, Matt just squeezed Kiera's hand tighter, and brought her hand up to his mouth, and placed a soft kiss on her skin, before finally looking away from her face.

"Sir, can I talk to you?"

"Yeah, of course, what is it?" Matt smiled.

"Well were having some issues with the passports, they're not ready yet.."

"And when will they be ready?"

"Three days."

Matt sighed. He didn't want to be in this town any longer than he absolutely had to.

"Okay, that's fine, but I better get a helluva discount!"

"Very well, I'll make sure of that.. Now shall we begin?"

***

"I don't care what you have to do! FIND THEM!!" Zack yelled into the phone.

It had been almost 2 weeks now, and absolutely no one had heard anything from Matt, or Kiera. Needless to say, everyone was worried.

"Zack just calm down, I'm sure they'll turn up." Gena said, rubbing his back.

Zack sat on the edge on the couch with his face in his hands, he was exhausted, and worried. He just wanted to know they were okay.. He knew that Kiera and Matt had been screwing around, and he was afraid they'd gotten into trouble, because let's face it, incest is illegal, and the last thing the band needed was the world finding out about this.

If they were in trouble, by the police that is, they would have turned up by now, which meant one of three things. They had been kidnapped by someone, not police, they had been murdered, or they were just really good at hiding, and most likely fled the country. But Matt was a very famous guy, and he would be recognized at some point. So all they could do was wait.

..And wait.

..And wait.

Another week passes, and the only lead they had was that Matt had been spotted outside a hotel in Las Vegas.

So where are the guys now?

Take a guess.

Las Vegas?

No.

Everyone was all for taking off to go hunt the two down.. except Jimmy. Jimmy convinced everyone that Matt was simply taking a vacation and most likely did not want to be disturbed. He told them to give it another week and if there had still been no sign of them, they would all take a trip to Vegas.

They agreed.

Little did they know though, that by the time they got there, Matt and Kiera would already be arriving, somewhere far far away from Las Vegas.
