Right Where I Belong

Elise POV

My phone didn’t quit the ringing… I tried to turn around and get away from the noise but I was held by two strong tattooed arms.
I smiled, James…
It felt good that we were together again, that we discussed everything and he understood but yesterday I could see the hurt in his eyes which I caused him.
He said everything was fine, but I knew that it would take some time.

Still the ringing didn’t stop. I tried to get out of Jimmy’s arms, but each time I tried to loosen the grip he had on me the stronger he pulled me back.
“Jimmy… my phone.. I really need to…”
“No, don’t go away. I can’t let you out of my sight again, you will do something stupid…” Jimmy murmured and pulled me firm against his naked chest.
“Let it ring, we won’t answer, we will never answer anything ever again…”
I smiled, yes I would like that, but then a thought came back, it was Monday… I should have been in college by now. SHIT!
“Jimmy??! What if this is my college, they might kick me out for not being there right now.” I pulled so suddenly away that Jimmy let go and I fumbled for my phone in my bag.
I looked at the caller, damn.

“Hi Tyler.”
“WHY DIDN’T YOU PICK UP THE PHONE EARLIER?” Tyler yelled and I held the phone away from my ear.
“I’m sorry. I…”
“ELISE! DON’T FUCKING…”
But before he could continue Jimmy grabbed my phone put it on loudspeaker and began to talk,
“Quit the screaming, damn it. Elise is here with me. She is fine. So talk in a normal volume, alright?!”
“I should talk in a normal volume? When I received a call from her college that she isn’t where she should be… and they asked me how she was…??? WHAT HAPPENED” At first Tyler was a little quieter but at the end he began to yell again.

I forgot that Samantha wanted to tell them, that I would sleep at my brother because I wasn’t well.
Damn!
“What did you tell them?” Jimmy asked.
“I said, she was still sick, but will be back this afternoon. Damn, now tell me what is going on, why is she not in college?!”
“There was an incident… well… I can’t explain that right now, but we will the next time we meet, but she is fine and everything is settled again. And thanks for covering up, man. I will bring her to college later…”
“NO, no you won’t. You will bring her to me. I will bring her to college, I will have to talk to them about this “incident” anyway. Damn it, Jimmy… only 5 days and she is done there… I knew this would get her in trouble.”
“Woohhooo.. keep it cool. No harm done, right?” Jimmy said and pulled me onto his lap.
“No harm.. no harm done?? Fuck, just bring her to my office at two.” He hung up.

“I’m so sorry.”
“Nahh, don’t be. He is a big brother, big brothers need to be upset about little sisters sometimes. I know what I am talking about.” Jimmy said and kissed my cheek.
“Come on, we have 2 hours to have breakfast, and get ready.”
“Okay.” I leaned one last time against Jimmy and he closed his arms around me and held me tight.

Jimmy’s POV

I held Elise hand while we walked into the office of her brother. We were on time so not another reason for her brother to be mad.
Elise knocked on the door and I heard Tyler call, “Come in and close the door.”
We did as commanded and sat down at Tyler’s desk.

He stared at us but didn’t say a word, I totally felt like a teenager again being caught by my dad smoking or when he found out about another tattoo I made without his consent.
And I knew the best was to stay quiet and let him begin.
But Elise didn’t seem to know that because she started to speak.
“I am so sorry, really Tyler I didn’t mean to…” She began but Tyler just shook his head and Elise stopped.
She looked confused and I just grabbed her hand a little tighter.
“I decided I don’t wanna know what happened.” Tyler said finally.
“I just want to hear from you that it won’t happen again, that I can bring you to college now and we will not speak of this again. And then just 5 days can you please keep it cool until your Graduation, is that possible?”
“But-“ Elise started.
“Yes, of course. We will… I am busy this week anyway, so this won’t be a problem. And it’s only 4 days, right?!” I said an interrupted Elise.
“But-“Elise started again.
“Good. Then we understand each other…“ Tyler interrupted Elise this time.
I turned to Elise and smiled and she looked at me with a frown.
“Good then, Elise are you ready, I need to be back here at 4:30 so we need to hurry.”Tyler said and stood up.
“Yes, I guess so.“ She nodded and stood up as well.
“I will just inform Collin, we meet again outside, alright?” Tyler said and held the door open for us.



We stood at the parking lot and I looked at Elise, we had to say goodbye, and I couldn’t visit here before the Graduation Party, we had a lot of work to do in the studio and some Interviews.
But for the Party we would plan something good, I haven’t told her that I wouldn’t be coming alone.

“So you can’t some to visit, right?” Elise asked with a sad smile.
“No, I am sorry. We are busy at the moment we need to finish some work at the studio…” I grabbed her small waist and pulled her into my body.
She laid her arms around my neck and I granted myself a kiss from her lips.
“But I will be there on Saturday, I promise. We gonna celebrate your Graduation!! And the 4 days will be nothing and if you have any problem with your “roombitch” again, you call me. We will talk in the evening, alright?”
“Yes. And thank you Jimmy, it means a lot to me when you will come on Saturday.”
“Don’t mention it, honey.”

I stole another kiss from her when behind us someone coughed.
“You ready?” Tyler asked.
“Yes, I think so.” Elise said and reluctantly I let her go.
“We talk this evening. I will call you.”
“Good.” She walked towards Tyler’s car and climbed in. I watched for a moment, then ran towards the car before they drove off.

I knocked on her window and she looked at me astonished, I motioned for her to slide the window down, before she could ask anything I crashed our lips together and kissed her deeply.
4 Days, James… just 4 Days…!
I let go and waved goodbye then I heard the engine roar and Tyler left the parking lot and I smiled…
