Right Where I Belong

Elise POV

It didn’t feel right, his lips on mine. Collin tensed up l must have surprised him with my kiss.
He put his hands on my shoulders and pushed me softly back and looked at me astonished.
“Elise, what is this about?” Collin asked.
He wasn’t mad just surprised.
“Collin, I need you to… help me.”
“Help you with what? And why did you kiss me? Honey, I know I made jokes between us but you are with Jimmy right? And… I know Tyler wouldn’t appreciate me being with his little sister…”
“Collin, can I ask you something, and you answer me honestly.”
“Of course.”
He leaned back on the couch and I took another deep breathe, “Tyler said you are a womanizer. You had a lot of girl, right? You had a lot of sex?”
I looked straight in his eyes and waited for answers.
Collin grinned, “I don’t know how to answer that question the right way. Womanizer, huh? Yes, I was with some girls… but is that a lot? I don’t know, it’s not my right to say that… but why would you ask something like that?!”
“You said you would help me, right?” I asked him again, now I would just say what I needed from him.
Even if the kiss felt wrong and when I thought about the kisses Jimmy and I had shared my feelings were totally different, the butterflies started to swirl around in my stomach and my legs began to quiver and I felt hot all over… but the kiss with Collin was nothing. No sparks, no butterflies…

“I… yes. But you have to tell me how to help you.” Collin said and leaned forward and took a sip of his beer that was standing on the table before us.
“I need your help… I need you to sleep.. to have sex with me.”
When I said this Collins eyes widened and he spit the beer across the table and started to cough.
“You… hmm… You want me to what?” He said louder than necessary.
“I want you to have sex with me.” I said again.
Collin leaned towards me and took my hand in his.
“Elise, honey… why would you want that? I mean… I am flattered really but… why?” Collin asked.
“The why shouldn’t matter! You said you would!” I was getting angry, because I knew if Collin wouldn’t help me, I couldn’t go to someone else. He just had to understand me.
“Honey, like I said before I am really flattered, but that I cannot do.”

I stood up, what should I do now?!
“Why? Is it.. my look‘s? Is that why?“ I motioned to my body and turned around.
“What? NO!” Collin stood up as well grabbed my shoulders. “Elise, don’t get me wrong. You look fabulous but you are the little sister of my best friend and as far as I know, you are in a relationship, so why in hell would you ask me to sleep with you? I don’t get it…”

One last attempt and then I would have let this thing go, since he held me by the shoulder I surprised him and made a move forward and he stumbled backwards to his couch.
He looked at me and at my lips, I licked them automatically… and I saw it in his eyes, he was about to kiss me, his lips came closer to mine he held me in his arms.
But in the last moment he just put his head on my shoulder, “Damn it, that was one of the hardest things to do, you know that right?”
“What?”
“Not to kiss you, not to just give in to you.” Collin grabbed my hips and sat me besides him on the couch.
“Wait a second. I will get you something to drink and after that we will talk, you got me?! We will figure your problem out. Should I call someone for you?”
“WHAT? NO!” I sat on the couch and I felt my eyes fill with tears, damn it I ruined it. I ruined it all.

Brian’s POV

“ZACK??” Damn, he forgot his phone… “ZACK?” I tried again, but when I walked outside the studio I saw that all the other cars were gone and I was the last.
Idiot, now I had to drive to him first before I could get home…
Or I could call Jimmy, to tell him to… ahhh… What the fuck, when I am at it I could have a beer with Jimmy when I am there anyway…

The phone in my left pocket buzzed and since I normally wear mine in the right this must be Zack’s… oh maybe this was his girl and I could make a little fun with her… would she recognize my voice right away?!

Collin? Who is Collin?
I picked up, “Gates at Vengeances?” Sounds nice, didn’t it?
Better then Haner at Bakers…
“What? Gates? Hm.. here is Collin.. Is Zack near?“The voice of this guy sounded a little concerned.
“No, man. He forgot his phone. Can I help you?! I will see him later on…” What was this about?!
“Oh, shit.. you know… Zack got this friend Jimmy, is he near? I got a problem with.. well his girlfriend…”
“Whose girlfriend? Zack’s?” Now really, what was this about?!
“No, Jimmy’s? Man do you know him? Or can you give me his number?” Now the guy sounded a little pissed, what the fuck…
“Wait, you talking about Elise? She is with you? Why?” Now, I got pissed. I knew Jimmy had brought her to college early today and he seemed stressed about something and why was she now with some other guy… and he said he had a problem.
“Yeah, you know Elise? Shit, listen I don’t have time, she is here, would you tell Jimmy to pick her up, because I don’t think she would appreciate me calling her brother.”
“Alright, man. You know what, I come and pick her up.”

This Collin guy gave me his address and I got in my car and drove there it took me a good hour until I arrived.
Nice house, really.
Wouldn’t help him if I needed to punch this guy, because he had done something to my best friend’s girl.
I knocked on the door and waited for the guy to open up, when it didn’t get fast enough I knocked again and again until the door finally opened.
There stood a tall guy, must be around my own age. I recognized the face, I have seen him before but never really talked to him. Zack and I had been to a few of his parties, but that was some time ago.

“Oh Brian, hey man. Didn’t recognize your voice over the phone. Come in!”
He clapped my shoulder and smiled but I recognized his still unbuttoned jeans and his ruffled hair, I swear to god if he had done anything to Elise, I would fucking punch him friend of Zack or not…!
“Thanks man.”
Before we could walk into the living room, he stopped me with a hand and motioned me to the kitchen.
“Before we go in there, I just wanted to tell you, nothing happened here, alright?! She stood at my door and asked me for a favor, since she is the little sister of my best friend, I let her in and wanted to know what’s going on, because when I am not totally wrong, she should have been at the college by now… but she didn’t want to tell me what is going on, so I thought it would be best to call her boyfriend, but I didn’t have Jimmy’s number and well… that’s when I reached you.”
I tried to posses everything he told me, but it still made no sense at all.
“What for a favor did she ask of you? And why?” I asked him with narrowed eyes.
“She asked me to have sex with her…”
I turned fully towards him, “SHE WHAT?”
“Dude, calm done. She seemed totally nervous and kind of desperate, I don’t know why. She kissed me and asked me for the favor. But when I asked her about it, she just refused to talk to me. Do you know if she got trouble with Jimmy or something, does she want to get back at him?!
When I told her that I couldn’t do it, she asked me if it was because of her looks and… I don’t know she seems so insecure… what happened there?!”
I needed to swallow, after everything that Jimmy told me… this seemed like a strange behavior. I didn’t know what to make from this, but I would find out.
First I have to talk to Elise, and get her out of here.

Jimmy’s POV

God’s damn it… my battery was low and my phone was about to shut off at every second.
I hadn’t called Elise but I needed to, I still had a bad feeling and I needed to talk to her.
After I had talked to Brian again, I still had a feeling that Elise hadn’t understood why I didn’t want to sleep with her on that evening.
I should have been clearer.
And now I was afraid that she thought I didn’t want her.
I know this was ridiculous because my feelings towards her were so strong, but most of the time I forget that for Elise everything was new, that she wasn’t used to having someone to love her.
And I think I needed to tell her this again.

The problem I had now was, that her phone number was only saved in my phone, and my phone was empty. But where the fuck did I put my charger?!
I ran around in my house and looked everywhere, but couldn’t find it.

The front door opened and Zack walked in, naturally Kim by his side.
Those two were inseparable in the last days and Zack told me that next week he would finally move into his new house.
“Zack?? You know where my charger is? Fuck fuck fuck… I can’t find it. I need to call Elise… It’s already late… and I told her I would call…”
“No… Haven’t seen it. Does mine fit, you can use mine then?!” Zacky said and kissed Kim’s cheek.
“Why don’t you just call the college and ask for her room, there must be a connection through a fixed line, right?” Kim shrugged her shoulders.
“Ohh thank god, someone got brain’s here beside me.” I kissed Kim’s forehead and grabbed my home phone and looked up the number of her college.
Zack and Kim vanished into his guestroom and I waited for the college to pick up.

Finally after 5 rings someone picked up.

And another 5 minutes later I was connected to her room.

“Samantha Gregs, hello?” Shit, her roommate.
“Hey, this is Jimmy. Can you hand the phone to Elise?” I heard her chuckle.
“Jimmy, The Rev on my phone, what a nice surprise. I like it. But I am sorry I can’t hand you to Elise.”
I sighed heavily, “Why not?”
“She is not here…” WHAT? Where is she?
“Where is she? Where did she go?“ I got nervous, where could she be?
“Sorry, Jimmy.. can’t tell you that. I promised. But if I were you I rather come here fast…”
With that she hung up and I stared at the phone, WHAT THE FUCK?!
Damn it, I grabbed my keys jumped into my car and drove into the direction of the college, the second time today!
