Right Where I Belong

Elise’s POV

This Thursday went by in a blur, Tyler and I were preparing some paper work for Zack.
I was proud that I was there when Tyler showed him the house and he actually wanted to buy it. It was my favorite houses and Tyler let me chose which we would show him so I at least I had a little part in this.

“Okay, Elise… since we have the party tomorrow, we should go grocery shopping together, and maybe you also want to buy you some new clothes or something, I don’t know?” Tyler said and smiled.
“I.. no I have everything…”, then I thought about Jimmy, he would be coming and I had this stupid urge to look especially good for him.
“What do I wear to a party, Tyler?” I asked him and thought about my wardrobe which was mostly jeans and blouses and some jackets nothing special I guess.
“Maybe a dress? Whatever you want, Elli?! Come on, we will go do the grocery shopping and then you can drag me to some boutique and I will buy you something nice to wear, is that okay?”
I nodded at him and smiled, “I invited Jimmy…” I said quietly, I didn’t know how he would react and if it was okay that I asked him to come.
“Oh and will he come?” Tyler asked and looked at me curiously.
“Yes, at least he said so… Do you think he will cancel?” I asked worried.
“No.. why? I think he liked you. I saw him staring at you…” Tyler grinned and I knew my cheeks must be red.
“What Elli? Don’t be embarrassed, it was only a matter of time that you would rouse the interest in guys, look at you… you are a beautiful young girl. Mom and Dad hid you from the outside world as long as they could, but it’s time for you to have some fun… don’t get me wrong I don’t want for you to.. oh shit.. what am I saying here… Listen Elli, I should have done this way sooner, but I was.. an idiot. I should have never agreed to let you go to this prison.”
“It’s not a prison, it’s a college. And I liked it there.” I replied defensively.
“Yeah right, still they act like a prison, but anyways.. Elli this school is not everything in life. You need friends, you need to make some experience… you have to live! I know that you don’t know anything other than school but now you are here and I want you to try something new.. I am not telling you to do drugs or anything I mean I am not that a bad example but just find some friends and enjoy life, alright?” Tyler looked into my eyes until I nodded and he embraced me.
“Thank you, Tyler.”
“I will make up for everything I missed. I promise, Elli. Now come on let us go shopping.”

After all the groceries were in the car, we drove home unloaded everything and I felt the need to just lay in bed and listen to my music but Tyler insisted that we would go shopping for a dress.
We went from shop to shop but I didn’t find anything what I liked and I felt sorry for Tyler he had to endure all this waiting and trying on and everything.
The problem was mostly that I couldn’t wear these dresses, either there would fall my breasts out or they looked so short, that I couldn’t sit without showing too much.
I was about to give up when Tyler held a blue dress in front of me, not too short but maybe still a little shorter then I would have preferred it.
“Try it on. Come on last shot.” Tyler said and I took the dress to the cabin.
I came out of the cabin and Tyler said nothing. He just looked at me.
“Is it that bad?” I asked him and tried to look into the mirror.
“No, Elli, not at all it fits perfect, but now I think it was a bad idea to let you go to the party like that.”, he laughed.
“Oh.. okay. Then we’ll take it?” I asked him with a smile. What would Jimmy say when he sees me in this dress?! Why couldn’t I stop thinking about that? Damn I sounded like these girls at school… but still I looked into the mirror and smiled at my reflection.

Friday morning

Zack’s POV

“Yo Zack? You wanna join me on that Party this evening?” Jimmy yelled from the kitchen.
“Where is the party again?”
“At Tyler’s house…” Jimmy sounded a little depressed.
“Wait… you are going to the party at his house.. and you have a thing for his assistant/girlfriend or whatever she is? Do you think that is a good idea to go to the party?” I asked him and raised my eyebrows.
“Damn it, Zack… What can I do? I’m fallen for her and I need to see her again, like a drug I just need to be near her… I can’t even describe it.”
“Oh Jimmy.. Don’t get to attached you know, they are living together if I understood correctly so this seems pretty serious.” I just hoped that it wasn’t too late for the too attached speech.
“That’s why I need you there, Zack… You have to distract Tyler so I have some time with Elise alone. I will convince her that… I don’t even know.. that I want to get to know her better!”
“You wanna fuck her!” I laughed at Jimmy.
“Damn, Zack.. no… I mean sure I wanna, but there is more to it.. Gods you are an ass!”
“Yeah, maybe… I would, she is kinda cute…”, before I finished my sentence Jimmy stood in my face, “YOU will not touch her, you heard me?”
“Okay, got the message. Jeez, James.. Calm down. I have to get to the city, while I’m at it you need something?”
I grabbed my keys and jacket and made my way to the front door and waited for Jimmy’s reply.
“Naahh, thanks man. And remember Party at seven.. so be back on time.” Jimmy said.
“I’ll be here, no problem.”

I felt relieved when I drove to the city, my new house would be ready in a couple of days and I would already sit on my new couch and could furnish it to my own taste without Gena who would query each of my decisions.
It hadn’t been always like this, we were together more than 3 years, times changes people that’s just how it is. And Gena always wanted to be the one in the limelight and not to be just the girlfriend of…
Normally she would have never told me that, but in one of our last fights that’s exactly what she said.
I should stop thinking about her and our last encounter it’s over and it was better that way.

I walked through the city the sun was shining beautifully down and I just enjoyed the day off we had, and later today there would be a party so everything was fine until-
I saw Gena walking arm in arm with her new guy. Gods damn it, speak of the devil!
That I really couldn’t stand right now, shit where should I go?
She looked my way but I headed into the next store I could reach and hoped she didn’t see me, while I walked backwards into it I bumped into someone standing behind me, she stumbled and I grabbed her arms to steady her.
“Oh shit, I’m sorry”, I said and helped her standing straight again.
“Hey… no problem.”, she replied with a friendly smile and I had to smile back at her and looked into her eyes, they were mesmerizing I haven’t seen eyes like hers before. They were blue but more a grey blue and I knew I needed to say something because this would get pretty awkward soon.
“I…” began and noticed that I was still holding her by the arms and wanted to let go, when behind me the voice of the devil… I mean Gena was calling my name.

“ZACK? Is that you?” Gena called again and I let my head fall to my chest and sighed in frustration.
Damn, this could have been such a wonderful day.
And talking about awkward, here we go…
“Oh yes, I thought it was you… hey…” Gena stood there holding hands with her new guy and showing off how happy she was with him.
Okay, so she wanted to win this break-up? I won’t make that easy on you! I just hoped my fleeting acquaintances would play along.
“Oh hey Gena… and…whatever your name is” I was still holding this lovely but unknowing woman by the arms and I let go of her arms just to push her into my side, I noticed that she was nearly as tall as me and I was thankful that she wasn’t wearing high-heels right now.
She looked at me from the side with a quizzical glance but didn’t protest and I was relieved.
“This is Tom, my new boyfriend. And you seem to have found yourself also someone new?” Gena’s tone went icy when I had laid my arm around the girl’s waist.
“Yes, life goes on you know…” I replied casually and looked into blue grey eyes and begged her to play along.

Kim`s POV

What a morning, I had a day off and wanted to have some nice time for me and stood at the bookstore when someone pushed into me from behind, I nearly lost my balance but he grabbed my arms to steady me and apologized right away.
I looked at him closely…..


I have seen that guy before, how could a girl forget these green eyes and snake bites, anyway. Zacky Vengeance or Zacky Baker from Avenged Sevenfold.
I smiled at him, “Hey… no problem.”
And we stood there before each other and I think we both just stared into the eyes of the other, I didn’t know if he was noticing that he still held my arms in his, and if he would move a little closer I would be lost in his embrace…
To be honest I would have loved if he did that but that was more wishful thinking.
Behind him called a woman and Zack’s name and he didn’t look very excited about it.
Must be his ex-girlfriend or maybe a fan-girl he didn’t like to see.
Shit, they were already talking and Zack let go of my arms but then he just pulled me into his side and I looked at him a little surprised but I kept my mouth shut and wanted to see where this was going.

Zack shrugged his shoulders and said, “Yes, life goes on you know…”, then he turned to me with a smile and looked at me, his eyes were staring me down, and I knew what he wanted from me, to play along with his little game.
He didn’t have to ask twice, I wanted to see what he planned.
“And this is your new girlfriend?”, the blonde woman looked me up and down.
“Yes, this-”, Zack began but I interrupted him.
“I’m Kim, nice to meet you, I guess… I’m sorry what was your name, again? Zacky didn’t mention you at all…” I smiled sweetly at her.
“What.. I..” the blonde woman started and Zacky tried to stifle a laugh next to me and his hand on my waist pulled me even tighter against his body. And I felt the heat from his hand through my thin shirt.
“Gena, my name is Gena… So Zack, what are you doing in a bookstore anyway… you never were into books or something?!”
Zacky looked at the store and I knew he was just realizing where he was fleeing into, “Yeah.. I wasn’t and…” Zack started and looked at me again.
“Come on babe, I think you can say what you said to me while we were running into this store?!” I finished for him and he looked even more surprised at me now.
“What I said…?” Zacky looked flustered at me and I just wanted to see how far I could go with him.
“Yes, okay, I will say it. I mean we are all adults here, right?!” I turned to Gena and her new boyfriend and I put my hand over Zacky’s who was still holding my waist but I had to grin.
“Zacky said if we didn’t find a room soon, he would grab me and run into this bookstore and that he would just threw all the books to the floor and take me right here and now! Right, babe?” I really couldn’t hide my grin and turned towards Zacky fully and looked at his astonished face.

Zack let go of my waist and I thought that I had gone too far with my little story, but instead he just put his hands on my cheeks and pulled me towards him and before I knew it I felt Zack’s soft lips against mine. I had never been kissed from someone with piercings before and it was an exciting feeling, I felt him softly biting my bottom lip and I granted him entrance and I couldn’t help the little moan that escaped my lips and Zacky pulled me closer into his body when we heard a coughing behind us and reluctantly Zack let go of my lips, but still held me to his body.
“Okay, so we will leave you alone now… I wish you a nice life, Zachary.”Gena said and grabbed her boyfriend and turned around.
After they were gone from the store Zacky and I both began to laugh and trying to catch our breath.
“I am so sorry for dragging you in on this…” Zacky said finally.
“No.. don’t be… it was fun, sorry about the grab me and take me right here part, my imagination kinda run wild…”
“Oh, I liked the idea believe me.” Zacky winked at me and I tried to stifle the silly giggling.
“How can I repay you for this?” he asked but I shook my head at him.
“No no, it was my pleasure.”
“No.. I.. I have an idea, would you like to go on a party with me this evening, please say yes?!” Zack asked.
“I.. wow.. sure, why not?”
“Awesome, give me your address and I’ll pick you up around 6:30, alright?”
I looked at my watch so I still had 7 hours to get ready. “Alright. Wait let me give you my address.”
He gave me a piece of paper and scribbled down my address and handed it to Zack.
“Okay, so we see us later.” Zack said and moved forward again and kissed my cheek.
“Okay, bye.” Then he turned around and went out.
