~The Next Day~
*Cherish's P.O.V*

I woke up early. Weird, because usually on weekends, I sleep until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.
I woke up rather early.. a little too early. It was 9 in the morning.
I laid back in bed to try and fall asleep again but no luck. I starting to kick my legs and go crazy on my bed. I stopped and took a deep breathe.
It's going to be a long day.
I got off my bed and went to my bathroom. I locked the door behind me and looked into the mirror.
Ha ha, I forgot to wash off my make up last night. I look like a racoon.
I washed off the excess mascara and eyeliner and walked back out.
I made my way downstairs to see if my aunt & uncle were awake, I peeked into my aunts room and they were both in a deep sleep. I didn't wanna bug them so I shut their door.
I went downstairs and started to make some pancakes. I got out the mixing bowl, the pan and everything else except for the pancake mix.
I looked all over only to find out it was up on one of the high shelves. I tippy toed to try and reach it but I couldn't. Ugh. Being short is such a struggle.
I grabbed a chair and I stepped onto it and yay I got it! The chair almost tipped so I jumped off and made a loud noise, seconds later the chair fell over. I held the pancake box to my mouth and I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Damn. I looked up to see my uncle Mike look horrified.
"What happened?"
"I.. uh.. tried to get this." I showed him the pancake box and he laughed.
"Don't be too loud, your Aunt Rose is hungover." I laughed and said ok. He went back upstairs and started to think.. Wow.. I never really noticed how much of alcoholics my aunt & uncle were. And to think my dad wanted me to move here. I shook myself from my thoughts and continued to make some pancakes for myself.

A little while later, while I was eating, I got a text. I looked at my phone and it said "New Message from Jimmy" I smiled. He must have saved his number when he had my phone.
I opened to the message and read it.
" Carnival in town :D Would you like to go?"
" sure :D"
"Alright, it'll be here all weekend do just text me whenever you're ready:)"
"Alright :D"
I put my phone on the table and finished the last of my pancakes. I got up off my chair and put my plate in the sink. I smiled and oh my gawsh, started to get nervous. This is my first date ever .. I don't know what to do! How to dress! How to act!
Oh stop it Cherish, I thought to myself and just went on with my "routine". I went up to my room and looked at myself in my mirror. I sighed and started to get ready.
I got a pair of comfy crimson colored skinny jeans, my Bullet For My Valentine t-shirt and my leather jacket.
I looked decent but now it's time to choose my converse. I have different colored pairs and I couldn't make up my mind.
I just decided to go with my black ones. I put them on and started to work on my make up & hair.
I put on my boring make up and was wondering how to put my hair. I just let it fall naturally.
I was all ready and whatnot. I was getting really bored. I was sitting on my bed and wasn't doing anything, so I just decided to play my drums.
I made my way passed my aunts bedroom, passed the living room & kitchen and made it to the basement.
I looked at my drum set in awe. Ugh, it was so beautiful I could just cry.
I sat down on my chair and started to play The Legacy by Black Veil Brides.
My arm was working normally, I wasn't in anymore pain.
I played about 4 songs and I looked at the time. It was 4:30. Wow.. that was fast.
I texted Jimmy and told him I was ready and he replied with a smiley face. I went upstairs and went to wait in the living room. I was watching Zombieland, when I heard a knock on the door.
Oh my gawsh, oh my gawsh.

*Jimmy's P.O.V*

Cherish's message saying that she was ready made me nervous. Really nervous.
"I don't know if I could do this bro.." I said to Matt.
He looked at me with a blank expression, I looked back him straight in the eye. He lifted his hand ad slapped my head,
"Snap out of it, you WANT to do this." He said to me and he was right. I was just nervous.
"Well, I'll see you later.. She said she's ready." I said to Matt in a shaky voice. Matt laughed at me and told me to snap out of it. I smiled at him and walked out of his room, up to the kitchen and out of the house.
I was walking down the street, approaching Cherish's house. I stopped and was thinking about turning back.
"God dammit Sullivan, snap out of it." I said to myself. This is my first time ever feeling like this and I was scared shitless. I took a deep breathe and walked up to her house. I took another, and knocked on the door.
I stood there and was waiting for her to answer it. She did and she looked beautiful.
"It's a bit too hot for leather is it?" She asked, I laughed lightly as she took off her leather jacket and hung it up.
"Do you want to go right now? or.?"
"If you want, you can come in for a while." She said to me.
I stepped into the house and we both walked into the living room. She was watching zombieland. I sat down on the couch beside her and none of us spoke.

The movie was over and I took my phone to look at the time. 6:26 pm.
Wow.. this day is going by so fast.
"Would you like to go now?" I asked her and her face burned up.
"Yeah" she smiled and we walked out of the house. The carnival was by the beach, not too far from her house. Well.. it was a little far.
We were walking down the street and passing by some trees. Cherish shot her arms up, "Look! I'm an airplane." and started to pretend to dodge the trees.
I laughed a little and picked up small stones and threw them to her,
"Following bullets!" I yelled out.
"May day, may day we're going down." She said and she mocked the noise of an explosion.
We laughed and we started to walk. It was a little quiet, not too quiet thought because Cherish was making weird noises. I laughed a little and started to do them too.
We saw the lights off the rides and gamestands. Cherish clapped her hands like a little child. I grabbed her hand, she looked surprised but she held onto it. My heart was beating really fast, I didn't want to make myself look like an idiot so I started to run, with Cherish following close behind. We got to the carnival and was greeted by a clown with a lot of ballons.
"Hellooooo!" said the clown.
Cherish laughed and replied with a small wave and a big smile.
"Would you kids like a balloon?" I laughed a little but stopped when Cherish playfully hit my chest. We accepted and he gave me a blue one, and Cherish a red one.
"Oh.. and another thing." He said. Cherish stood in front of him and the clown did something with hands and digged into his sleeve.
"A flower.." He said and gave Cherish a rose. She laughed and thanked him.
We were walking through the carnival and oh my.. the way Cherish's eyes twinkled in the many colorful lights of the carnival rides made me want to die. She looked so beautiful.
"Jimmy, do you wanna go on the ferris wheel?" She asked me with a big smile.
"Anything for you." I smiled and said to her. Her cheeks burned up. We went onto the ferris wheel and the guy that was operating it stopped us at the top.
"Wow.. Huntington Beach is so beautiful." She said as she was staring at the beach and the lights of the town.
I really wanted to do something or say something but I didn't know what. So I just put my hand on her cheek, looked deep into her eyes, and slowly leaned in to kiss her.
Her soft lips touched mine and oh my.. we kissed. I pulled away and she had a smile on her face. I smiled back at her.

We went on almost every ride and played every game. I was really having a good time. I wasnt nervous anymore. It was starting to get late but I didn't wanna go home yet, I wanted to spend as much time with Cherish as possible.
"Hey Jimmy, do you want to try a funnel cake?"
"What the heck is a funnel cake?"
She smiled, grabbed my hand and took me to a stand. I stood there and waited for the lady working there to hand it to me.
She did and I was gonna pay for it, but she said,
"Oh no.. it's on the house." I smiled but gave her the money anyway.
I was gonna take a bite but Cherish yelled out,
"Wait! I have to record this." She said to me as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. She started to record and she had a smile on her face.
"Really?" I asked her with a sarcastic tone in my voice.
"Really really." She said, holding her phone not too far from my face.
"Go on.." She said, telling me to take a bite.
"Alright.." I said, I was about to put it in my mouth.. but hesitated.. I looked up at her and she smiled, "Hurry up." She said.
I laughed and took a big bite.
"Oh wow.." I said. She laughed, but kept recording.
"How does it taste?"
"It's like.. wow.. a little piece of heaven." I said, causing her to laugh some more.
"Mmm, it's like an orgasm in the mouth." I said, making her laugh some more. I laughed a little and she stopped recording. I carried on eating the cake, as we walked around the carnival, looking for our last ride before we go home.
"Do you want a bite?" I said to her.
"Sure"
"Well that's too bad." I said to her, she had those "puppy eyes" and I wasn't gonna fall for it.
I wasn't gonna fall for it.. no.. NOPE.
I looked at her, to see her with that look on her face.
"Oh man.. here." I said, handing it to her. She laughed and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed.

*Cherish's P.O.V*

The carnival with Jimmy was fun today. I has such a good time. First time feeling this happy since my mom died. I couldn't get the look out of my head when he tried the funnel cake. I smiled a little as we walked up to the roller coaster.
"Do you want to go on this before we go home?" He asked me.
"Yeah.. totally."
We lined up and waited for the operator to assign us to out spots. I thought we would go somewhere in the middle, but he assigned us to sit in the front.
"Oh my gawsh.." I said as he started to put on our seatbelts and tightened them.
"Okay.. I'm gonna admit that I'm a little afraid," said Jimmy.
I laughed and grabbed his hand, "It'll be alright." I said to him, still laughing.

We got off the ride and both, Jimmy & I, our hair.. was an absolute mess.
"Jimmy.." I said.
"Yeah.."
"On a scale on one to ten.. how messy is my hair?"
"11" He said. I playfully punched his arm, and started to put my hair back to normal.
"Stop!" He said.
"Let's take a picture." he said.
He put his hand on my waist and I wrapped my arm around his torso. Our heads were close together. My cheeks started to burn up.
"Alright.. say cheese." He said.
He pressed the button and the flash came on and my gawsh, it was bright.
"I can't seeeee." I said, teasing him.
"Oh be quiet." He said. He clicked on review and we looked at the photo.
I laughed as soon as I saw it because the flash was so bright, it made Jimmy take a picture of himself with one of his closed and his hair a mess.
As for me, I was smiling but both of my eyes were closed and my hair was all over the place.

Jimmy offered to walk me home and I didn't hesitate to say yes because I was really getting tired.
We were walking down the street and we were both quiet. It was a little too quiet, it was starting to piss me off.
I saw a can on the sidewalk so I started to kick it. *clunk* *clunk* *clunk*
I was kicked it one last time and was about to kick it again, but Jimmy kicked it out of direction and it hit a cat on the head.
The cat hissed at us and I just started to laugh.
"I'm sorry little guy." Jimmy said,.

We got to my house. I didn't know what time it was, but I didn't really care. Jimmy & I were standing on the lawn, holding eachothers hands, but not saying anything.
I smiled and started to think about today.
"I had a really good time with you, Jimmy." I said with honesty as I looked up at him.
"I did too, Cherish." He said with a smile on his face.
"Good night" I said to him. Instead of giving him a hug this time, I put my hands on his face, tip-toed and kissed him sweetly on his lips.
We stopped and just looked at eachother. I smiled and give him another kiss, only on his cheek.
"Good night to you too." He said to me.
I was gonna walk away, but he did the same thing he did last night.
Grabbed my hand, kissed it softly and said "lovely Cherish."
I smiled and walked into my aunt's house.
I was taking it all in, and I slowly leaned back on the door and started to slide down on the floor.

*Jimmy's P.O.V*

Today was absolutely amazing!
As soon as I got to Matt's, I threw myself on the bed and just took a deep breathe.
"How was it?" Matt asked.
"It was awesome." I replied.

I don't know how tired I was, but I'm guessing I was really, really tired because I fell asleep almost instantly.
