You Think You've Got It, Don'tcha?

Chapter Thirty-Six

I helped Ryden pack her things into the back of my car and in the trunk. She seemed pretty okay, i didn't really know her as well as the guys, because, well.. I'm socially awkward in most situations, and dont make much contact with anyone. Honestly, having the company would be nice. I had to keep her things downstairs and she would have to stay in the basement and keep everything really clean if we wanted to make Zack think that she was gone back home.

Despite him being my brother, him leaving was an asshole move, especially after finding out she was pregnant before he left so. I'd take care of her, if Zack never came back. She said that he was going to be leaving her behind for the remainder of the tour, but he makes his way around the block, if you know what I mean. A couple of hours later we finished unpacking everything of hers into my basement and she plopped down on the bed that she had just made.

"Thank you." She mumbled into the pillow. I nodded.

"You're welcome. Need anything? Hungry? We could probably run to get something to eat. Make him think you're leaving tomorrow." I said, shrugging. I adjusted my bow tie and re-rolled my sleeves up, since they had been unrolled during the unpacking process.

"I guess we can, if that's what you want to do." She said, sitting up. She looked down at her stomach and made a small sigh and I walked over, pulling her up by her hands.

"Let's go." I said. "Let me take you out to one of my favorite restaurants. I mean.. It's a vegan restaurant. But we could go somewhere else if you want."

"Okay. I can try it. What is it?" She asked, straightening out his clothes.

"It's called the Bodhi Tree, it's over on Main Street." I said. It's really good. You'll like it." I promised. I smiled, dragging her out of my basement and out to my car, and I opened the door for her.

"Thank you." She smiled as she got in. I smiled back, getting in and starting the ignition.
