Jacqueline's POV*

What the hell? I groaned and tried to move but couldn't.

"What the fuck?" I choked out.

"Shit, Jimmy she's awake!" A familiar voice called out.

"Coming Brian!" Another yelled back.

Jimmy? Brian? Where did I hear those names? I felt the strap that constricted me come undone and I shot up. One look at their faces and it all came back.

"We're not psychotic. We won't hurt you" Jimmy said.

I relaxed then tensed up when Brian reached for my face. I flinched when he yanked down my bandana and Jimmy pulled off my hood.

"You're beautiful."

"Stunning."

"Shit." I croaked.

I turned and ran to the door pulling my hood back up. But I didn't get far considering I smacked my face against a pole. I fell back and felt arms grab me. Then I heard voices. Then everything went black.

"Are you alright darling?" Jimmy asked, concern filled his voice.

"Why did you pull off my bandana?!" I snapped at Brian.

"What?"

"If you didn't reveal my face, this wouldn't have happened!"

"Well sorry!" He hissed sarcastically. "What kind of tattoo artist hides their face and doesn't even speak!"

"Excuse me?!"

"You heard me!"

"It doesn't matter what I do! You should've listened to the rules!" I barked.

He started laughing. "Do I look like someone who listens to the rules?"

"When someone tells you not to do something it means don't do it! Jesus! It's called common sense!" I sneered at him.

"Well maybe, if you didn't wear that fucking costume, I wouldn't get curious! And I know what common sense is!"

I scoffed, "You wouldn't common sense if it punched you in the face!"

"Yeah well you wouldn't either! If you don't like to talk to people then don't be a tattoo artist!" He barked.

I felt my chest get heavy and I got dizzy. "WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!"

"I'm Synyster Gates!"

"Synyster who?"

Their jaws dropped and eyes bugged out. "Jesus where have you been?"

"Well for the p-past couple of hours I've been in the h-hospital cuz some dim-witted fuck got 'curious' and b-broke my rules!" I screamed.

They both stared at me and I felt my breaths get shorter and shallower. "W-what?!"

Jimmy walked towards me and slowly put something in my hand. I looked down and it was my inhaler. "Thank fuck." I muttered before taking a couple of hits.

"Jacqueline?" Wait when did he get my name?

"What."

"Your eyes... they uh..." Him and Jimmy looked like they saw a ghost.

Fuck I forgot. I jumped out of the bed and ran to the bathroom. Oh shit.



"No no no," I mumbled rubbing my eyes. "no no NO!"

I ran back into the room and looked at the two men in front of me. "I can explain!"

I heard the nurse knock on the door. "Help me? Please?"

"Get back in the bed." Jimmy instructed.

I did as I was told and Brian walked up to me. "Close your eyes and play along."

I nodded and shut my eyes. I heard the door open and heels clicking.

"Has she woken up yet?" A female voice asked.

"No. Not yet." Jimmy said.

"Alright. Let me just check her nose."

"Stay calm. Don't Move." Brian's voice rang through my head. Wait what?

I felt the nurse standing over me and I tried hard not to squirm. She put her hand on my cheek.

"Don't scream."

She brushed her hand over my nose.

"Try hard."

The nurse squeezed the bridge of my nose and my lip quivered. She pushed her hand down harder, I bit down on my lip hard. I felt my hands shake and my eyes tear up. I closed my eyes tighter. The nurse twisted my nose to the left and I couldn't hold back anymore.

"FUCK!" I screamed as I shot up. Hot tears rolled down my face.

"I thought she didn't wake up." The nurse asked in a serious tone.

"She didn't." Jimmy stepped closer to her.

"But she's right there" The nurse pointed at me.

"Who?"

"Jacqueline Tanner?"

"Jacqueline left an hour ago." Jimmy persuaded.

He leaned in and stared into her eyes.

"What's going on?" I whispered to Brian.

"Come here and be quiet." I slid off the bed and walked over to Brian.

We watched as Jimmy stared down this small woman.

"Oh that's right. But then who are you?" What the fuck?

"I'm your dad. Now go back to bed Marie." Jimmy said motioning to the hospital I sat in just 5 seconds ago.

"Yes dad." The nurse obeyed him and fell asleep in the bed.

"Let's go." Brian said pushing me out the door.

"Wait what just ha-"

"We'll explain later but right now we're going to my house. You have some explaining to do." Jimmy stated simply as we walked out of the hospital.
