3 days have passed since that sick fucker's phone call and I hadn't heard from this Van Bleu since then. I guess he really didn't want to deal with having cops track his stupid ass. I had finished the reviewing of the tapes with Angel and Jase and they had just left to go tell the client about the entity in the family's home. I really hope that they get some closure on what's going on. I sat around in the living room with Brian just drinking some beer and watching endless movies when a knock came to the door.

"I'll get it. Angel and Jase probably need some muscle for that equipment they took with them."

"They must have gotten back rather quickly then." I said as he left the room. I sipped on my beer as Brian was talking to someone but I wasn't really paying any attention. I was too engrossed in this movie to really care who it is.

"Nix, this is Mr. Van Bleu...he says he really needs to talk to you."

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked setting my beer on the table and standing to my feet.

"You hung up on me so I thought I would come out here and show you the proof."

"What proof? Nix, what's going on?" Brian asked looking over at me.

"This man called me yesterday claiming that he was my real father but I wouldn't have any of it." I explained.

"Let me see the documents." Brian said and this Van guy gave him the folder and Brian looked through it. Brian glanced up at the man and then to me.

"Nix...these documents are legal."

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked and he handed me the folder. I opened it and looked down at a certificate of birth.

I read on down the documents and seen everything from the social security number that was exactly the same and my blood type. Anger pulsated through my veins when the man had the truth to what he had said on the phone.

"Now do you believe me Nixael? Your mother and I...well I just couldn't be a father at 29. I was too immature and unresponsible to take care of a child at any age."

"You expect me to welcome you with open arms?" I said throwing the folder at him. He bent down and started picking up the papers.

"No I don't but I wish you would give me a chance."

"I wouldn't give you a glass of water if you were dying of thirst. You abandoned my mother and me. I don't care if you want to be in my life because I don't!" I said yelling in anger.

"I'm sorry that I did that Nix...I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am."

"Don't begin to tell me shit. I don't wat to have anything to do with you. My father died of a heart attack years ago and now I don't have one. Just get the fuck out of here and don't ever and I mean ever contact me. I don't care if you're a changed man now because that will never change what you fucking did!" I yelled again and Brian looked over at him.

"Please leave."

"I will. I just wanted to meet my daughter." Van said hanging his head.

"Well now you have. Get the fuck out." I flopped back down on the couch and grabbed my beer before chugging it down. I fixed my eyes on the TV not wanting to look at this man ever again but instead I listened as Brian led him to the door. I wonder what other lies my mom kept from me and took to her grave?
