My date last night with Brian was absolutely amazing! It was such a romantic night with dinner and then watching the sun setting on the beach...oh man I wished that never ended but now I can't help but wonder about my mother. I can't have a long distance relationship with Brian. I mean he's a famous rockstar touring a lot...what will happen with us? A knock came to the door and Angel walked in.

"Hey girl."

"Hey." I said looking down.

"What's the matter?"

"I was just thinking." I said as I played with my hands in my lap.

"Does it have something to do with the date you had last night with Brian?" I nodded.

"Did something happen?"

"He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." I said looking up at her.

"Then what's the big deal?"

"I can't leave my mom...I mean I know she wants me to have my own life and shit like that but I can't help but be worried about her. She's living in a house where my dad died and she's all alone." I said standing up and walking over to the window. I watched as each car passed by and watching the people run on the beach.

"I know that but you're mom will be just fine. Maybe you should call her."

"I think I will." I said smiling.

"I'll give you some alone time and I'll spread the word around."

"Thanks." I said hugging her before she left. I pulled my phone from my pocket and sat down on the bed looking through my contacts for my mom's number. I pressed call and it began to ring.

"Hello?" A man?

"Hello this is Nix is my mother around?" I asked. Who the hell is answering my mom's phone.

"Oh you're mother is in intensive care due to a car accident last week. We couldn't access her phone because the screen was damaged."

"How bad is she?" I asked and I could feel the tears fulling my eyes.

"She's on full life support but I can tell you more if you can come to the hospital."

"I'll be right there." I said hanging up the phone. I slipped my phone back into my pocket and left my bedroom in a hurry. I practiacally ran downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Where are the guys?" I asked Angel and Jase.

"Recording. What's going on?"

"My mother was in a car accident last week. I need to go home." I said.

"Here. Take one of Zacky's cars. I'll let him know what's going on." She handed me the keys and I nodded to her and left the house finding the right car. I got in and sped down the road. I need to get home.

I finally reached home after driving all day and night not even stopping to rest or eat but only for gas. I found the hospital she's at and pulled into the space. I ran into the hospital and took an elavator to the intensive care unit. I got off and went up to a nurse at the desk.

"I'm looking for a Ms. Tracy Ray. She's supposed to be here in intensive care." I said with the wondering thoughts of what's going on with my mom.

"Are you her daughter?"

"Yes ma'am." I said smiling.

"Please come with me." I followed the nurse to a room and she pulled back the curtain and seen her fragile body. I slowly made my way over to her bedside and I sat down. She looked so aweful...what the fuck am I going to do?

"I don't give a shit! Nix is my girlfriend!" I head Brian's voice yelling and I got up and peaked out the door.

"Nurse? It's alright. Let them in." I said smiling and I went back over to my mom's bed and gently held her hand in mine. Brian came in with the others and they all sat around the room. Brian gave me the comfort that I so desperately needed at this time. I watched the machine help her take each breath and I tried talking to her and maybe she would open her eyes. A knock came to the door and a doctor came in.

"Are you Nix Ray? The daughter of Tracy?"

"Yes sir." I said shaking his hand.

"I'm sorry but your mother isn't showing any improvement. There is no functioning in her brain and I'm afraid prolonging her life will only make her suffer. I'll leave to your decision." He got up and left the room shutting the huge door behind him. I have no make a choice...keep her alive or let her die...
