I Won't See You Tonight
The New Student
When I made it to school, I noticed that a lot of the girls were standing in front of my first period class, history of music. They were all talking in such fast and quiet voices, I couldn't make out a single word they were saying.
My curiousity got the better of me causing me to push a few of the smaller girls out of the way. When I fianlly made it to the door, I peeked in through the small window and scanned the room, or what I could see of it anyway.
The beige walls contrasted highly with the green chalkboard on the far left wall behind the teachers desk. The white ceilings hung low and the normal posters of famous musicians hung all around the room.
I looked over to Mr. Bryant's desk and saw the tall man talking to another man. They looked to be total opposites by the way each of them dressed.
Mr. Bryant wore a professional attire. He had on a lavender colored button down with black slacks. His hair was slicked back and the shoes he wore were squared off. And of course, he wore his glasses that hid his brown eyes.
The other man was about the same height as Mr. Bryant. He had on a pair of ripped, denim washed jeans, a pair of black vans, and a Misfits shirt. His hair was a bit shaggy and black in color.
On his arms were a few tattoos that looked very detailed. When he looked behind him, his eyes caught mine and I couldn't help but stare.
His eyes were a beautiful jade green in color. I felt like a deer caught in headlights.
I saw him smirk at me beofre he looked back at Mr. Bryant.
"Wow," was all I could manage to get out as I headed for my locker.
