Trying not to love you

Brian's POV

"Another great show, Gates!" Zacky said to me as we left the stage through ghe back way.

"Yeah!" I said, agreeing with him.

"Maybe you should sleep with Angelica more often so we can have more performances like that one." He joked.

I know what he meant, but in my mind I saw Angelica and me actually sleeping together and it brought a huge smile to my face.

"Man would I love for that to happen." I laughed out. Zack stopped dead in his tracks and whipped his head around to look at me. Oh shit! Did I just say that out loud? I did, didn't I?

"What did you just say?" Zack asked with a shocked face.

"Huh? I didn't say anything. I-I-I just laughed." I stuttered out.

"Did you just say that you would love to sleep with Angelica?" He asked.

"What? No! I was talking about having more great performances like the one we just had." I lied. Well, I half lied. I really would like to have another great show like thhis one, but I also woukd like to sleep with Angelica. But it wouldn't just be sex. I don't want to just have sex with her. I want to make love to her. I want to only be her. I want her be only mine. I want to wake up to her laying next to me every morning even when we're off tour. Oh man I'm so in love with her.

"No! No you weren't. You wanna sleep with Angelica!" Zack said as he started to laugh. Oh no, I feel some teasing coming on.

"You wanna sleep with her. You wanna kiss her. You wanna date her. You know you love her. You wanna hug her." He started singing.

"Zack." I stopped him.

"Hold on man, I'm writing a new song for our next album." He said. Oh no. "

"Dude, listen to me!" I said gripping his shoulder.

"Ok. What's up?" He said laughing.

"You can't tell anybody about my feelings for Angelica, okay?" I said.

"But why?! This is great! You and her belong together! You two are perfect for each other." He said. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"I wanna tell her and I will. But for right now it's best that I stay quiet about my feelings for her. Please tell me you understand and that you'll keep this to yourself." I said

"Okay, I don't understand, but I will keep this to myself." He said. Oh thank god.

"So does anybody else know about your feelings for Angelica?" Zack asked.

"Well Jimmy knows, but that's just because I let it slip when he and I were drinking." I said.

"Oh okay." Zack said. I felt a little bit better now that Zack knows and he's excited about it. Maybe he'll help me seperate Angelica and Tyson. I'd sure appreciate the help. It's not like I need the help, but it sure would be gladly accepted.

We got to the meet and greet booth and fans were already lined up. Wow, these are some fast people.

I looked around to see if Angelica was around, but I didn't see her. Shes always here before us to try and calm the fans down and to make sure we have everything we need.

"Hey guys. We have a huge crowd today." Jason, one of our roadies and best friend, said.

"Yeah we do. Where's Angelica at? She should be here already." I asked.

"Oh yeah. Uh, I don't know. I didn't see her when I got here. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen her all day." Jason said.

"You know what, maybe she's 'spending time' with Tyson." Jason joked. I clenched my jaw and my fist and Zack noticed.

"I doubt it." Zack said. "Maybe she just got caught up at the merch booth." He continued.

"Maybe. Well it doesn't matter. You guys need to take your seats and sign some autographs." Jason said. We all sat down at the table and started signing autographs. I tried to pay attention to the fans, but all I could think about was Angelica. Why isn't she here? Where could she be? Is she okay? I hope she's okay.

A girl walked up to the table and asked for my autograph.

"Can you make it out to 'Vicky'?" She asked.

I signed the small poster that we were giving out, but instead of writing the fans name, I accidentally put Angelica's name. I didn't notice until the girl said something.

"Uh, excuse me, but you wrote 'To Angelica, yours always, Brian'. My name is Vicky." She said. Aw shit!

"Oh! I'm so sorry. Here let me do another one for you." I said and grabbed another small poster. I signed another autograph for the girl. And then she grabbed my hand when I was about to hand her the paper. She put a little piece of paper in my hand and said.

"Signing another autograph for me isn't the only thing you could be doing." She winked at me and walked away. I'm usually flattered when girls do this, but for some strange reason, I felt uncomfortable. I opened up the note and it was the girl's name and number.

"Uh-oh, I don't think Angelica is gonna like this when we tell her. Nope. Not one bit." Zack said. He was just teasing and I doubt Angelica would care, but in a way I actually hope she'll get jealous. I rolled up the piece of paper and absent mindedly threw it away. What do I need that girl for when I've got a girl like Angelica. Or at least I hope I still have her.

We finished the autograph signing and went back to the Van. Val was there but Angelica wasn't.

"Hey Val." I said and started looking for Angelica.

"Hey guys! How'd the signing go?" She asked.

"It went good. You know same old, same old. " I replied. Val smiled and walk towards Matt.

"See, I told Angelica you guys would be okay without her there." Val said.

What?! We weren't okay without her. I was a mess because I was wondering where was she, is she okay, is she hurt.

"What do you mean?" Zack asked.

"Well Tyson came by and wanted Angelica to go watch his band perform, but she said she couldn't because she needed to go help you guys out at the signing. I told her that you guys could handle it without her and that if you guys did need help, Jason would be there. So after I reassured her, she took off with Tyson." Val said.

Are you fucking kidding me?! She's with him again?! She's already seen him perform, what the fuck is the difference from the other shows they've done?! That's it! This is going to far. I turned and walked away from the guys. I pulled out my pager and I sent Angelica a page.

"I have a huge problem and I need your help. Meet me at the Van." I pressed send and stood there waiting for her to reply. I pulled out my wallet and pulled out a picture of me and the guys when we were in high school. It didn't have all of us, it was just Matt, Zack, Jimmy, Val, Angelica and me. We're all making crazy faces, but the thing that made me smile was the fact that I had my arms around Angelica and she had her arms around me. I stared at the picture a little bit longer and then I heard Val.

"Okay, give it to me." She said. I turned and gave a confused look.

"What? What are you talking about?"I said.

"You know what I'm talking about. Your pager. Give me your pager." She said. I rolled my eyes and handed her my pager.

"What is wrong with you, Brian? What can't you leave Angelica alone and let her have fun?" She asked me. I didn't think about what I was going to say, I just blurted out what came to mind.

"Because she should be having fun with me, not him!" Oh shit!
