Where Are You Now

"Come on, Charlie! You can't do this shit to me!"Marilyn yelled as she pounded on the front door to her apartment, well, her boyfriends apartment.

"Fuck off, you junkie bitch!" Charlie yelled back at her from behind the door.

"Charlie, baby. Please let me in." She pleaded hoping that maybe just maybe he'd let her in after all it had worked in the past.

"Why?"

"Because I love you." She new damn well that it wasn't the truth. She can't love anything anymore.

"I told you to fuck off!!" He yelled before the Marilyn could hear him walking away.

"FUCK!" she screamed.



"Brian, we're lost aren't we." Kimberly asked her boyfriend of three years Brian.

"I know that, pointing it out isn't helping, Kim." Brian replied a bit aggravated.

"Brian, what is that?" Kim asked while pointing to something through the windshield.

"Looks like a person,Kim."

"Smartass, I knew that."

"Wait, I know her." Brian said recognition and pain flooding his mind.

The last time he'd seen this girl was about six years ago when he'd left to go on his first tour with his band Avenged Sevenfold. He'd left sad that she couldn't for some reason come with him but excited to tour and then come home to her. When he had returned back home to Huntington Beach, she was gone. It seemed as though she was just a dream.

Brain pulled the car over once they'd passed her and came to a stop.

"Stay in the car." He told a confused Kim.

"Brian, what are you-" He never heard the rest because he was already making his way down the street towards her.

"Marilyn?" He said, as he grabbed the woman's arm and spun her around.

"Who?" The woman asked.

"I'm sorry," Brian said letting go of the woman and taking a step back, " I thought you were someone else."

Brian turned and walked back to his car.

"What the hell, Brian?" Kim asked once he was inside and pulling back onto the road.

"Just forget." He said while reaching over and turning the radio on. The car was soon filled with music something Brian was grateful for maybe the music could cover up the sadness.
