Ana’s POV

What’s that for a noise? I can hear some voices and some other sounds which I can’t recognize as what it is. I can’t really focus on it.
Actually, I can’t focus on anything. I don’t feel my limbs. Damn! Where are my legs and hands?! What is going on here?! Where am I?! I felt a terrible pain in my larynx. Water…I need some water, I couldn’t swallow. I wanted to move but my whole body was not cooperating.
Okay, I needed to calm down. Maybe I have to focus on one thing first… to open my eyes that would be the first and after that the rest of my body will wake up too.
Very slowly I opened one eye, next the second carefully.
I can’t see anything, just bright light… okay I will try one more time.
My eyelids were so heavy that I needed a lot of effort to finally open them fully.
I regained the feeling of the rest of my body and actually I wasn’t sure if it was such a good idea to wake up…
I suddenly felt such a pain. It felt like something is burning inside of me. I felt a light touch on my cheek. Then I heard some voices, pretty loud voices. Someone is talking to me?!
I needed to wink a few times to see the face next to me. I looked puzzled but I still don’t see anything clearly.
“Hello, can you hear me? You’re in the hospital”, the voice said again.
I moved away from the man who said that. The fog now gone from my eyes. I saw man with white medical scrub.
When I looked around, I saw a few people standing around my bed some nurses, the doctor and the white-grey hospital walls. A lot of different machines were plugged into my body. Hospital?
I wanted to say something, but I reminded myself that I needed to drink first.
I just nodded and shifted my hand to my throat.
“You want to drink something, Mrs. Evans?” the doctor asked and then held a glass of water with a straw for me to put in my mouth. I took one sip and I immediately felt better.
I cleared my throat to say something “What happened?” I asked quietly.
“Hello, my name is Jason Travise and I’m your doctor. You’re in hospital, because you had an accident. Do you remember that?” he asked me softly.
I tried to concentrate but I couldn’t remember so I shook my head.
“No” I mumbled.
“Okay, what is your last memory, Mrs. Evans?” , the doctor asked again.
One more time I compel my mind to cooperate with me.
“The last thing I remember is… Going back to my home after the maths test, on Thursday I think.” The doctor looked at the man who stood next to him a little questioningly.
He came closer to me and put his hand on my cheek. “Oh Ana, I was so scared” Ana?!
“Everything will be okay now, I promise.”, he said and seemed relieved.
I looked at his eyes, I knew this face, but I didn’t know where to put it.
I looked at him questioningly, why would he say that he was scared, and why would he promise anything, and Ana? What is going on here?! Why is he treating me as if we knew each other?!
I needed a few more second to recognize who he really was.
Fuck! I can’t believe it!
“You..” I started “You’re Syn.. Synyster Gates!” I said loudly.
It seemed so unreal, I couldn’t believe my eyes... But that really was Syn Gates.
“Yeah, when I last checked I still was Gates, yes” , he laughed and some of the other voices joined in. I turned my head and saw 4 other men and one girl whose faces I knew and two girls which I saw for the first time, actually no this one looks familiar, too but I couldn’t see anything in detail. I looked again and again. No way!
“Am I dreaming or did I die?” I asked the doctor or maybe more myself.
He looked at me “You’re alive.”
“It’s impossible.. I see.. Damn, I really see Avenged Sevenfold on my hospital room? I don’t remember that I took part on some competition to win a meet & greet. ”
And this I asked to myself as well, but everyone started laugh loudly again.
One of this girls comes closer to me and my heart frozen.
“Oh Ana, I’m so happy that you are finally awake!” she said and wanted to hug me.
“DON’T TOUCH ME! Don’t you dare touch me!” I yelled.
She jumped shocked away from me and everyone stopped the talking and laughing just to look at me.
“Ana, I’m so sorry, I know that I should have helped you, but I really couldn’t, this car was too fast…” What was she talking about!? She shouldn’t be here! Why was she here?!
“Don’t come near me!” I said and felt tears in my eyes.
“Honey, calm down. What’s going on? Why would you yell at Romy, it wasn’t her fault.” Syn stood near me again. Damn, I felt dizzy. What the fuck is going here!?
