Jimmy's Pov

"Sorry Syn and Matt are such jerks" I muttered to Will as we left the house, the two not only made me come off too strongly on Will but they also made this whole situation a lot more awkward.
"Its ok." She muttetered in my direction, her eyes darted from her hands to her shoes as she avoided looking at me.
"Its not like im interested in you, those two are just idiots" I kicked myself for sounding like a jerk, but it had to be done. Not only was did Will not seem to have any interest in hearing what i had to say, she kept her head down and couldn't look at me.
"i understand." Wills voice came off low and scratchy, and i had seemed to upset her.
"sorry" i muttered.
She kept her eyes glued on the pavement.
"I admire you Jimmy, for being honest. I wont get my hopes up." Her tone was flat with a hint of anger, She seemed to withdraw into herself tenfold and quickened her pace. It was a good thing we arrived to her house, because the tension between us was upsetting me. I was so angry with myself, why did i have to say that? I was so interested in this girl, and i thought i had come off too strong. She was different, she was confident and smart, she acted on her own terms and didn't seem to care what anyone thought and it made her desirable.
I walked her to her door leaning against it while she opened it and walked inside, turning around she looked at me, preparing to speak.
"You and your friends shouldn't bother me anymore." she spoke softly, i hadnt expected that. I had only known her so long, but she was someone special who i couldn't get out of my head.
"so long" i waved, taking quick paces until i was almost running from her house. Im fed up with all the bullshit that happens to me, why'd i have to ruin things with her?
