Promise You Paradise

They drugged me.
They fucking drugged me.
Obviously, I wasn't handling this well.
I woke up about tweny minutes ago, and still haven't said a word to my mother, who was sitting across the room looking stressed. I didn't care. I just wanted to see my sister, and they fucking drugged me by her orders. I was so pissed. Like, you have no idea.
"I'm going to go check on how your sister's tests are going." She said before getting up and leaving the room. Good. I was getting tired of glaring at her anyway. Like, physically tired of it. Once the door closed I leaned my head back and closed my eyes and sighed. I really hoped Bailey was okay. I knew she could feel me, and I could feel her. I could feel her pain, and unfortunately I knew her too well. I knew she was hiding it.

I heard the door open and looked up to see a slightly shocking sight. It was Matt and Zach, and they were each carrying a guitar case. Once they were both in the door, Matt closed it and made sure it was secure before turning around and smiling at me.

"Before Bailey went to take her tests and shit she told me that bringing you a guitar would probably cheer you up. So, Zacky and I were thinking we'd have a small jam session type thing." He said while opening the guitar case and handing my the beautiful acoustic guitar. I took it gingerly in my hands and strummed it a little, while smiling to myself.

"Uhm, could I have a pick please?" I asked quietly.
"Oh! Yeah, here." Snakebites, or Zacky, I guess I should say, pulled a purple guitar pick out of his pocket and handed it to me. I smiled shyly and nodded in thanks. I strummed a few notes and tuned it a little.

"So, what do you guys want to play?" I asked when I was satisfied with the tuning. The looked at my a little stunned and I gave them a questioning look.

"What?" I asked.

"That is probably the first full sentence we've ever heard you say." Matt finally replied, snapping out of his semi-shocked state.

"And we don't care, we like basically anything and if we know it's we'll jump in. I'll be singing, by the way. If you were wondering what I meant by "we"." He said, kind of rambling. I nodded and thought about it for a minute, and then smiled when the perfect song came to mind. I have no idea why, but I absolutely loved playing this song.

I looked up at them and smiled a little before playing the intro to Guns 'N' Roses's "Sweet Child O' Mine". They, once again, looked shocked and then snapped out of it as Zacky began playing the other guitar part and when his turn came, Matt started singing. And damn, that boy had a beautiful voice. We played the whole song and I was honestly surprised no nurses came in a bitched at us.

I kind of lost track of how long we played, but it was probably hours, and it was amazing. I've never really played with other people before, and certainly never played while someone who wasn't Bailey singing, but it was awesome. Bailey was right, this totally cheered me up.

Yeah, school and life has been keeping me busy.
