Promise You Paradise

"I want to see my sister!" I exclaimed.

"Sweetie, she hasn't been awake very long and-" My mother started.

"I don't fucking care! I want to see her!" I know, I don't usually yell, but I haven't seen my sister since I've been awake. Two day. Two fucking days, and they won't even let me see her.

"This bed has fucking wheels on it, roll me in there!" I yelled again.

"Hailey, she is being taken back to have tests done. The same tests you had done when you woke up.

"They just want to make she is okay. " My mother said soothingly.

"And they can't bring her the fuck in here to see me before that?!" I raged. I might be being a brat. But the amount of fucks I give, is nonexistent. For cereal.

I continued to rage and seethe and complain, making my mother pinch the bridge of her nose in aggravation. She flashed me a fake smile and told me she would be right back, and I couldn't help but wonder what she was up to. She reentered the room a few minutes later with a nurse, who had a syringe in her hand. Oh, fuck.

"Sweetie, you a really worked up and that isn't good for someone in your state. This is just going to help you calm down." My mother told me as the nurse started coming towards me with the needle.

"Oh hell no! You're drugging me because I want to see my fucking sister!" I yelled trying to scramble out of my bed, but failing due to the cast that was on my leg. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

"Now you're going to feel some burning in your arm, but it will only last a second." She said as she inserted the needle into the I.V tube. She was right, my arm burned but only for a short time, and then I started feeling my limbs getting heavy, and my eyelids felt like they were made of steel.

"This isn't fair.." I tried to yell but couldn't.

"It's okay sweetie, don't fight the sleep. When you wake up you will feel better and I'm sure Bailey will be finished with her tests by then and..."

I heard my mother trial off before everything went black with sleep.
