Summary
Johnny stood in front of the mirror, staring at himself. He was squinting in concentration, trying to find what was wrong was him. Was it his large brown eyes? Or his hair that was styled into a mohawk? Maybe his height? It wasn’t his fault he was so short; after all he was only a freshman and his parents weren’t that tall. He couldn’t help the genetics he was born with. Perhaps it was the music he listened to. But it couldn’t be; his bullies listened to the same kind of music he did. He sighed as he stared at the large blue bruise blossoming on his bicep, which was miniscule to all the other blotchy purple ones covering every inch of his arms. Johnny just couldn’t understand why this was happening.
