Chapter 16
Erin’s P.O.V
I took a deep breath and stepped back as Liv and Johnny held each other and then I looked over at Brian who was holding Kylie tightly… I just looked around the room at the guys and I just felt so bad… why I was going drastic… who knew. I put some meds in Liv’s IV and handed some medication to Johnny.
“Every 4 hours” I said simply and he was confused along with everyone else. I walked downstairs and right when I reached the bottom of the stairs Matt stopped me and grabbed my waist.
“What’s going on?” He asked and I just pulled away.
“Not this shit again” He said remember the fact that I walked away from everything once upon a time.
“Not like you wanted me to stay with all the shit that went down… why is it that we always fall into this place… this isn’t the life I wanted!” I shouted at him and he backed up.
“Are you like having a mental trip or something?” He asked me and I scoffed and waved him away.
“It is on me that Liv went into cardiac arrest like that! I walked out and look what fucking happened.. Jesus Christ Matt will you realize that I put a pretty fucking good front but I am not fucking heartless..” I said with the back of my hand on my lips.
“Could have fooled me when you walked out” He said and I felt like there was glass shattering in me.
“This is business and all you are fucking doing is making it personal… so drop it and fucking help me find another… I want to be done with this” I said and he just laughed.
Matt’s P.O.V
Just as Erin and I were fighting about something from our past and our romance days Johnny walked downstairs rubbing his face and Erin’s face fell. Johnny stopped and then walked over and just put her head on his shoulder for a moment.
“It’s not your fault E… things happen” He whispered to her and then walked into the kitchen to grab a drink.
“Well Liv is out like a lightbulb… Kylie and Jimmy are keeping her company right now just in case since he has medical experience as well.. what is the word on James?” He asked and Erin just took a deep breath.
“I didn’t get the chance to take him down… I had company at the last minute” I said and once again Johnny’s face fell.
“You have gotta be kidding me E! You are the one who gets this done! How did you let this happen! There is way too much on the line to let any of them go!” Johnny yelled at her and she just sat there knowing that he was bound to lose it.
“The last thing we fucking need is to draw attention to who I fucking work for! Johnny you are going off on me for something that was for the best! If they knew that I was working for you guys they would fucking be here in a fucking instant and I do not these girls dead… I care too much for them and for everyone in the house SO GET A GRIP!” I yelled and Brian walked downstairs.
“You do realize that she is right… she is brave for even doing that alone… who knew who else was even in the area Christ” Brian said. Suddenly Kylie appeared.
“Erin is great and sometimes you just gotta get over it and realize that she had good intentions… Liv is alive.. she is asleep and probably dreaming of you… because Erin came back into the room… she is here helping… she is not useless” Kylie said.
“Jeeze this is gang up on Christ night” I said laughing and Johnny loosened up and took a drink of his whiskey.
“Fucking hell… what a fucking day and night… I am just fucking glad she is alive” He said and we all just smiled.
“Why don’t you get back to her.. she will wake up off and on and will be thirsty” Erin stated and smiled and Johnny walked back up to Liv with Brian and Kylie following. Moments later Zack emerged from the kitchen.
“Damn a man can’t even eat a sandwich in peace!” He stated with a plate and a drink and ran upstairs. I sighed and then looked at Erin again. I closed my eyes and rubbed my face and then I just moved closer to her.
“I am sorry.. but really.. I was torn when you left.. a little damaged since a beautiful and smart girl walked out of my life” I said to her and she really didn’t say or do anything. She put her hand on her head and she looked out of breath and she stumbled grabbing her shoulder and I grabbed her waist.
“Erin… fucking hell your shoulder is bleeding” I said pulling the side of her shirt and I noticed that she had bandaged her arm and it was oozing and I picked her up and called for Zacky who was the next in line for medical.
“I am fine.. I don’t need help!” She said trying to get up and she was clamming up.
“Shut up you crazy bitch” I said to her and she just laughed and I poured some water in her mouth and she swallowed as I bandaged her up again and re-doing her shitty stitches. And suddenly she reached her other arm up and grabbed the back of my head and kissed me deeply. Just then Johnny came to check what was up and to update us.
“She is asking for E… but looks like she is busy… what happened?” He asked and she just laughed.
“Doesn’t matter… be there when I can” She said and I just looked at her.
“Yeah this is nothing” I said to her.
“Shut up Shads and finish so I can talk to Liv” She said and then blushed a little… I was getting through to her.
