Nothing else matters

Zacky’s POV

I could see that she was shivering from the cold. Gentleman that I am I put my sweater around her shoulders.
She murmured a small thanks.
It was to both our benefits. She wouldn’t be cold anymore and maybe I could direct my thoughts from kissing all that glorious exposed skin to something else.
What was wrong with me? She is Matt’s little sister. But since over a year now my feelings towards her has changed from just watching out for her as a big brother would to feeling these disturbing new things.
“You wanna walk me home?” she sounded annoyed.
“Yes, sure. You think I would leave you walking alone in the dark? What do you think of a friend I am?!”
We walked in silence again. I tried during the last couple of months to keep my distance. If there is a meeting or a celebration I was at the opposite side of the table to keep my hands from reaching out to her. But during the last times I recognized that it was more difficult to keep my hands to myself so today would be a practical test for me.
After a walk of 15 minutes we arrived at her door.
She gave me my sweater back and I could see goosebumps over her skin again.
Before I even knew it I touched her cold arm and gave her the sweater back, “Keep it”.
She turned fully around and nodded her head at me with a small smile and clutched my sweater in her hands.
Don’t do it, Zack. Don’t do it!
But I already grabbed her waist and pulled her towards me. I kissed her slightly opened mouth and granted myself entrance by her surprise.
Her hands had found their way around my neck and we were plastered our body’s against each other. My hands were around her waist on the small part of her back. I couldn’t get closer… my phone buzzed and the moment was over. I pulled away. I looked at Romy, her eyes glazed over her lips were parted she looked fucking perfect.
I looked at my phone and it was like a cold shower, Matt calling.
“You should go inside. I need to take that. We will talk tomorrow, ok?!”
She still smiled at me and but went inside. What was i doing here? She is Matt’s little sister!

Ana’s POV

I came home very late I was so tired but couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about Brian. Why didn’t I ask for his number?! Would he give me his number, anyway?!
It was the first time I really felt safem with him. In his arms.. It was even the first time I wasn't scared that someone touched me. I haven’t even been thinking about the past. About what happened…

When I woke up the next morning my mind was still with Brian. I needed to finish this presentation on Monday. When I tried to concentrate on my work my mother came home.
"Ana, some man called and said that you lost your phone yesterday?"
"Oh yes right, I forgot. "
" Oh nice, you forgot... Anyway he gave me his number and said that you should call him back… The note is on the table. I have to go to work. Goodbye."
I immediately called the number"Hello?" A voice harshly replied.
" Hi, I'm Ana…Evans and I..."
" Oh hi Ana. You left your phone yesterday. " His voice turned soft.
"Oh thank god, I thought that I lost it forever!"
"Can we meet somewhere so I can give it back to you?! Do you have time?"
" Yeah, sure. When and where?" I asked and tried to not sound too eager.
He gave me the address not far from my home after that we hung up.

I waited at the park for him to arrive. He came from behind and smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
"Here is your phone" He said and pulled my phone from his pocket.
"Thank you so much.”
"Do you have some time, for a little walk!? I noticed that you are a fan?!"
I looked quizzically at him, “Yes, why?”
"You have nice wallpaper on your mobile." He laughed a little.
Oh no, how embarrassing is that, my cheeks gone red I couldn’t speak.
Still laughing he said, “Hey, it's okay"
"Don’t laugh about me” I said quietly still ashamed.
"Oh come on its ok. I have a good idea. Lets make a better picture, shall we?!"
He took my phone hugged me tight and made a picture from us.
"Okay one more time" he kissed my cheek and I couldn’t move just tried to smile for the picture.
"Come on Ana, smile for me, please!" He said and he began to tickle me. I start fighting with him, but he was stronger.
"Brii-aa-nn, pleassse stop!" I tried to say during my laughing.
Finally he had some mercy with me and we talked again for so long, that it was finally dark outside. I leant onto his chest. "Hmm… Shouldn't we go?" I asked him.
"What time is it?"
"6:20" I checked my clock.
"Oh fuck! They will kill me! And this will be your fault. I am so fucking late."
"What?" I looked at him questioning, what was he talking about?!
" Easy Ana, I was just kidding. But I had to be at the studio by 6, so I’m already late.”
“This afternoon was really amazing, Brian, thank you."
"Ann.." He started then he puts his hand on my cheek and directed his lips to mine.
It was the sweetest kiss I ever had. I put my hand on his hair to pull him even closer. I wished that this moment would never end.
"I really have to go" He said again, "Ah, and you have my number now on your phone so I am expecting a message from you, little Ana…” He smiled again and my heart melted.
