Nothing else matters

Zacky’s POV

Matt lay on the bed and he really looked ill.
“Honey, Zack is here and wants to talk to you about something important. And please don’t get to upset you need to take it easy, think about your health.”
Matt looked confused from me to Val. “Ok, so I’ll be next door, if you need me…” and she was gone.
“What’s going on Zack? Don’t be so mysterious.” Matt’s voice was so raw and muted that I needed to concentrate to understand him.
“Ok, so I need to talk to you about something that is really important to me. And now that you are well… let’s say a little invalid… I will just spit it out. I am in love with your sister. And I want to be with her. I should have seen this earlier but I was just too afraid to really commit and I wanted you to know…”
“You are what?” Matt croaked.
“Damn it, Matt don’t make a scene. I love Romy and I will be with her no matter what you say. And yes I do know your sentence if you touch my little sister.. yadayada…! So just live with it. You are one of my best friends and you know I wouldn’t hurt her or do anything that would endanger our friendship, so… “
“Stop it, Zack.” Matt tried to yell. Oh damn, now he is angry.
Matt rolled from the bed and stood before me he was damn tall and damn impressive so if he really wanted to beat me up he could.
Matt hugged me to him and I stood there frozen, he whispered to me;”Damn it Zack. I would rather have you in my family and as the boyfriend of my sister than anyone else, you dumb idiot. But don’t hurt her in any way, or I will fuckin’ cut your hands off and after that I’ll be even more furious because I have to find a new rhythm guitarist as well.”
I couldn’t help but laugh at that part, “You know I am very attached to my hands so, I wouldn’t risk anything like that. Anyways your sister hasn’t made a decision yet… so…”
“She didn’t?” Val was now standing behind us.
“Well no… she said she needed more time to think about it. And I was kind of an idiot to her… so maybe she doesn’t want me…”
“Ah damn Zack how blind are you guys? Even Jimmy and I noticed that there is something going on between you two.”
“WHAT? And you didn’t tell me?” Matt croaked again. “Damn, I am so dizzy I need to sit down.”
“Yeah and you didn’t want to cancel the next shows, right. In 3 hours we will fly back home, so I will inform the others that we need to pack and check out. And you Zack… go to Romy and fuckin’ settle this and maybe talk to Jimmy about it, too.”
“I will, thanks Val. And Matt get some rest you look like shit. See you later.”

I walked back to Romy’s room and was happy that I hadn’t gotten into a fight with Matt. I knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door flew open and Jimmy grabbed me by the throat and pushed me against the wall. So far for no fight…
“What… the… fuck… Jimmy…”
“I will fuckin’ cut your tongue out if you ever think of hurting her… and then I will…” Jimmy yelled at me.
Damn this guy was so thin but he had such a strength in his arms that he I couldn’t get lose.
“James Owen, leave him alone.”
Immediately he let his hand drop and walked back to Romy and sat down next to her.
Finally I could breathe again and rubbed my throat, now I would talk like Matt.
“What was that about Jimmy?”
He turned my way, “Romy told me everything. Damn you Zachary Baker!”
My full name, wow, “Why?”
“She is my sister by heart. I love her. Don’t mess this up.”
No pressure at all, but to be honest, I didn’t care! I know that I love her and if she let me I will show her that every day.

Romy’s POV

“She didn’t agree with being with me so…” Zack looked at me.
I made up my mind, while talking with Jimmy about everything.
I stood up walked over to Zacky, looked deep into his eyes.
“I want to be with you, Zack, my heart belonged to you all along.”
“Oh damn Romy.” He picked me up and kissed me, we were so lost in this kiss that we forgot everything around us when suddenly someone cleared his throat.
“I am still here… hello?” Jimmy still sat on the bed.
Zacky put me down and looked at Jimmy, “Could you please go…”
“Nope. We need to pack and we won’t miss that flight because you two couldn’t fuckin’ keep your hands from each other so I will stay until you are ready.”

Zack grabbed Jimmy threw him out of the room closed the door and we celebrated our first time being together officially.
