Nothing else matters

Romy’s POV

After my meeting with Alex I was really excited to see him again at the show. And I wouldn’t be observed the whole time by my brother or the other guys.
So I went over to the stage and helped the roadies and sound guys with the set up and tried to be busy and not walk into Zack who was still way to often on my mind. But if I wanted to finally find Mr. Right I have to forget about him.
After the whole set up was done… I went back to the hotel and upstairs to my room to get a shower and get dressed.

A short while later I stood backstage with the guys waiting for their sign to go on stage. Everything was prepared they got their guitars around the shoulder and Matt was walking up and down, excited to go on stage.
“Ahh.. look who found the way backstage…” Jimmy yelled.
“Hi Jimmy, so you do recognize me after all?” Alex said. I turned around I would recognize the deep voice immediately now.
“Yeah, sure Alex, why wouldn’t I?” Jimmy looked confused and threw his drums sticks in the air.
“Never mind, I wanted to see Romy… Is she here? Ahhh there you are…”
He walked towards me hugged me and kissed my cheek. I could see that all the guys and even Ana who was standing beside Brian were staring at us.
He whispered in my ear, “Why is everyone staring at us like that?”
“I don’t even know where to start to answer that one…”
He let go of me and greets all the other guys by hug or handshake since they also knew him from other concerts or festivals and having a little small talk.
I could feel eyes drilling into my back. When I turned around I saw Zack standing a few feet behind me. He signed me to come over to him and whispered, “You already found you someone new?”
“Stop this ok?! Don’t act jealous. We are not together or anything. You told me yourself that you are not the relationship type… maybe Alex and I’ll try again…”
With that I left him and went back to the discussion from Matt and Alex about the Sound on stage and which mic they are using.
But I couldn’t help a small smile at Zack’s jealousy.

Ana’s POV

We were backstage and they were waiting for the show to start.
"Baby, really you can be on the VIP area with Romy or just stay here backstage…" said Brian once again.
"Brian... I always dreamed about being at one of your concert with all fans being in the middle of it feeling like a family, all together, to share this emotions and this time with them. I wanna be in front of everything so I can take in every scene just like every fan. This evening I will only be one of your fans, okay?"
"Ana, you'll never be only one of my fans, but if you really want it, okay… just don’t… you know don’t get hurt, it gets kind of rough sometimes…"
"So… yes?!" I said excited
"Yeah, but I want see you there, promise me that you will do everything you can to be on the front row and that I can see you and if anything happens we will get you out, ok?! I will tell Matt to keep an eye on you and the security as well."
I leaned up and kissed him, "Thank you, it really means a lot for me. You're the best man in the whole wide world. I will go now and get my first row place." I winked at him and he kissed me again and embraced me tight. "Be careful, Ana"
Finally I am at my first Avenged Sevenfold show! This night I'm a fan, only a fan among all these people here. The atmosphere in this arena was amazing. Everyone was having fun and singing even before the show began. I felt so alive and I was one of them, I belonged here…
I stood before the barriers so no one was in front of me and I could see everything. The lights went out and after few second some lights in the back went on and we could hear the start of Jimmy’s drums. Then the other guys walked into their Positions on the stage and the crowd started to scream and I screamed along with them. I couldn’t concentrate on anything but Brian. He started to play his intro to 'Critical Acclaim', for one moment our gazes met and Brian smiled a little. I knew what he was thinking now, he was happy that I was safe and in his view. Matt started to sing.
Fuck I don't expect that it'll be soooo emotional. And then came Brian’s solo time. I couldn’t take my eyes of him.
I also smiled when the young girls next to me talked about Brian and how hot he is. And my only thought was, Yeah Bitches, but he's mine!
He was looking at me again, still a small smile on his beautiful lips. I could nearly imagine that he would be looking only at me and be playing this whole concert just for me. Surely, every girl here thought that he was looking only at them.
His fingers were working magic on the fret board, and his eyes still watching me and every move I made.He wasn't my Brian now, he was Synyster fucking Gates, who I always dreamed about to see live. When the song ended he threw his guitar pick into the crowd, well not into the crowd he threw it exactly at me. Everyone starts to jump and wanted to catch it, but it goes straight into my open hands. I started to laugh because it reminded me at something that I read in an Avenged Forum when we were talking about shows they wrote 'Imagine that Syn play’s a solo just for you and next he will gave you his pick’ or ‘Imagine that Shadows sings Warmness on the Soul and he is only looking into your eyes'.
I was brought back to the now when I heard Matt’s voice, " Who wants join us on stage?!"
Of course everybody raised their hands up and screamed.
"Syn, can you see someone?" Matt walked over to him.
"We should be gentlemen’s this evening and give the girls the priority, what do you think?!"
All the girls began to squeal. My legs buckled at the sound of Brian's voice.
"Yeah, this time we want some girl action up here! Do you have anyone on your side, who we should pick?" said Matt and was now standing next to Brian and laid his arm around Brian’s shoulder. "Who should we choose?" Brian looks at Matt smiled significantly. Matt looked at me and said "You!"
I was so shocked, no way. Fuck, Matt I will kill you. No no no!
"Yeah, you c'mon. Make some noise for this beautiful girl!"
And few seconds later one of the bodyguard helped me up the stage. My legs were shaking so bad I didn’t know if I could stand upright. My whole body felt like it was burning. I walked up the rest of the stairs and first I saw Zacky who started to laugh when he saw my face.Yeah very funny I flipped him off! Who would be the last to laugh when I tell what you and Romy did, hum?!
When I turned to the back I saw Jimmy, he was amused too. I sent him a look full of anxiety, he smiled and gestured that I should go. And I'm in the middle of this big stage, Matt now by my side. He embraced me "What's your name, honey?" I looked at him annoyed.
"Ana"
"So Ana, I think that we should calm down a little bit and sing something peaceful together. What do you think?!"
"That sounds great" I really try to be relaxed and just to shut all the other noises and people out.Damn it, I knew these guys, but I was so nervous because of this damn big crowd.
"Dear God, do you know the lyrics?!" I nodded. Matt gave me a second mic and the music starts. "Sing with me!" He started and I joined in.
I started to relax and for first time since I was on this stage I looked at Brian.
I walked over to him and as soon as I saw his chocolate brown eyes I got the feeling that I can do everything.
The chorus began and I just sang but I didn't hear Matt’s voice. I was singing all alone, damn it.
Brian took one step closer to me and my body immediately reacted. My heart went crazy and was beating so fast. He joined me and sang, 'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired I'm missing you again oh no. Once again’.
The crowd started to scream so loud that I couldn’t hear anything. It was the time for Brian's solo. I couldn’t help myself I needed to touch him, so I put my hand on his arm and watched him play in awe. I stopped to care for anything, I just felt so normal like every time when we were all together and having fun. So I walked over to Matt and to Zacky as well, he nodded and smiled at me.
When I was in front of Jimmy's drums kit Brian pushed me forward to his mic and we all together started to sing once again.
All I can see in his eyes now is just happiness and love and I want him so fucking bad, he looks so... oh.. so hot. I wanted to touch him so bad, but I knew that I couldn’t do that not here not on stage. But he read my mind and when the music is ending he grabbed my hand and kissed my cheek and whispers to my ear 'I want you too, baby".
My muscles began to constrict when I felt his breath on my neck, I felt it down in my stomach and even lower just his voice and the feel of his breath!
"You were awesome Ana! Give it up for Ana!" Matt said.
Brian didn't let my hand go; he brought me to the curtain which leads to the backstage area. When I went back to my place among the crowd people looked at me strange.
A few girls said that I was such a lucky one to be on stage with them. Yeah I knew that I was lucky.
“He kissed you! Fuck, he really kissed you!"
The rest of the show I just had my fun and sang along jumped with all fans and screamed.
It was the best party of my whole life.
