Nothing else matters

Zacky’s POV

I couldn’t think of anything else than that kiss I shared with Romy. I was a fucking idiot for not keeping my hands to myself.
What is wrong with me?! I need to talk to someone. But with whom can I talk about this?
Jimmy – no way (he is treating her even more like a sister than Matt himself)
Matt – surely not
Johnny – nope he can’t be serious
Well, then Brian. Maybe he can understand my confusion.
I drove over to Brian’s house I could see the lights in the living room.
I knew where he kept his spare key so I just grabbed it and let myself in.
I opened the door, “Yo, Brian… I have a question and I need to talk to you about it…”
I walked into his living room and I saw that Brian wasn’t alone. He had a girl over, and I recognized her it was the blonde chick from the club.
“Oh sorry… I didn’t know you had a guest…” I walked over to the blonde girl and took her hand in mine, smoothly kissed her hand. “Hi, I am Zacky. What is your name beautiful lady?”
Brian stood up and grabbed my elbow, “Come on Zack… what do you want…”
The blonde girl looked confused but smiled friendly, “Nice meeting you Zacky, My name is Ana.”
“Would you excuse us for a couple of minutes?” I smiled at her.

Brian shoved me into the room next door, “You can`t just walk in here… Damn it Zack, the spare key is only for an emergency and not…”
“It is an emergency…” I tried to justice my approach.
“What is this emergency about? Your hair? I told you it sucks…”
“What? NO... what do you mean it sucks? It’s awesome… anyway… How hot is that chick in your living room, damn Haner… excellent…!”
Brian shook his head, “Come to the point, why are you here?”
“I need to ask you something… but you know this has to stay between the two of us, promise?”
“Yeah, sure. So what’s up?!” Brian always glanced back to the living room where his date was waiting.
He seemed really crazy about this girl, ha, who have thought that Synster fucking Gates falls in love so fast…
“OK, so… you know that I brought Romy home that night after the club, right?”
“Right, and?”
“Ahh.. damn Brian, I don’t know… what do you think, Matt would say if… I mean… she looked so hot in that small skirt and her long legs…”
“Fuck, Zack. She is Matt’s little sister… you know his rule? Don’t you?!” Brian replied
“Yeah, I know: ‘Nobody fucking touches or even thinks about touching my little sister unless he wants to lose his dick!’”
I quoted the sentence we have heard so many times over the past years.
“So you have your answer if you think about touching Romy… you didn’t, did you?”
“NO…No… Maybe I was just a little confused… and drunk... and you know the thoughts running wild… but you are right… It’s Matt’s sister… what was I thinking…So, have fun with your date and give me all the juicy details later…”
I walked towards Brian’s front door and called, “Bye Ana, see you soon.”
I sat down in my car and let the conversation replay in my mind, damn it.
How could I tell Romy that the kiss was a mistake?!

Ana’s POV
I sat alone in the living room on Brian’s couch waiting for him to reappear. I could hear Brian and Zacky talking but couldn’t hear about what.
My face was burning, this situation was so embarrassing. I should excuse myself and go home. It was anyways going way too fast for my liking. Yes, sure Brian was amazing and I felt that my crush on him develops in a falling in love wait to soon.
And I knew that a guy like him would expect more from that I could give him at this point.
“Bye Ana, see you soon.”Zacky called and went out of the house.
"Sorry... Normally only Jimmy invades my house without a word, the other normally call before they just walk in…", he joked.
Did he joke or was he serious? I couldn’t believe having friends so close that they could just walk into my house whenever they liked.
"It's okay Brian" I smiled a little.
He sat down next to me and grabbed my chin, "Hey, are you ashamed? You don’t have to be."
He kissed my lips again his hand found his way to my knee and slowly stroked upwards. His other hand stroked my neck and pulled me even closer to him.
I knew what he wanted and to be honest I would love to give in to him. But I can’t do that not after what happened… I tried to push the memories to the back of my mind but it was too late.
I pushed at him gently, he immediately let go of me.
"Hm.. Brian, sorry but I must go…” I started to get up.
"Now? Why? Did I do something wrong?! Is it because of Zack?"
" No, no, It's not about you and not about Zacky. I need to go, because... I have exam tomorrow…"
I took my small bag and nearly ran towards the front door.
Brian looked crestfallen, "Oh…okay. So I'll escort you home."
"No thanks, I'll be fine. It was really nice Brian, thank you.”
"See you soon, sweet Ana" he said and slowly kissed my lips.
After he closed the door I ran as fast as I could from his house. I could feel the tears starting to form. Why?! Why couldn’t I be normal and just enjoy the night with him…
