Vanessa's POV*

Either Zacky was speeding or I lost track of time, but he was pulling up to the house right now. Jaymee was still choking, not as much but enough to still make me wanna take her to the hospital. Zacky came running in the house and too my side.

"What happened babe?!" He asked half out of breath.

"Jaymee..." I said half crying. He heard her and looked at me in worry.

"Let's go to the hospital." He said and went into the baby's room to grab her car seat and a diaper bag.

Right now I had nothing on my mind but my daughter. I put Jaymee into her carseat and set her up in the backseat as I sat next to her. Zacky rushed and turned the car on then began driving. Luckily we didn't have too far to go to the hospital but she wasn't getting any better and I didn't want to wait any longer if there is something that we could do for her to make her okay. Everytime we came to a stoplight Zacky would turn around to check on us. He'd stare at me with nothing but love and worry. Makes me feel ten times worse about earlier. He did nothing wrong. This was all karma for me for having dumb thoughts in my head.

Zacky's phone started to ring so he pulled it out and put the speaker on.

"What the fuck Vengeance?!" We heard Matt yell.

"Dude, I'm on my way to the hospital. Jaymee isn't doing too well." Zacky said.

Then Matt's tone of voice changed. " We'll meet you guys there." He said then hung up.

"Our little girl has such an impact on everyone." I said to Zack.

"She's the most adorable girl in the world thats why." Zack said with a smile on his face.
We pulled up to the hospital, a place that I really didn't want to be at and rushed out into the emergency room. Zacky was holding my hand as I held Jaymee. Jaymee's choking reduced into a coughing noise but I still was very cautious and besides were at the hospital anyways its better to find out whats going on. I went and took a seat in the waiting area and Zacky went to go fill out whatever forms were necesarry. Being a new mom is scary, especially with this going on.

Zacky returned next to me with a nurse by his side to take us back and have a look at her. Him being well known came in handy for times like this. He held me close to him and we followed the nurse into the exmination room. She told us our doctor would be in soon and then left us be. I sat down on the table and Zacky sat next to me rubbing my thigh lightly to keep me calm. But we weren't talking. It was awkward. I needed to break the tension I created.

"I'm so sorry." I said feeling the tears start to sting in my eyes.

"Don't be. I know you're going through alot Nessa. I just wanna be here for you and for Jaymee. Then I have to work on top of that which I know stresses you out." He said. That only made me feel even more upset with myself. He's trying so hard to be a good dad and boyfriend to me.

"It's not even that. That stupid girl Mandy just got to me and with your history with Gena it just fired me up and caused me to act stupid towards you. I know you'd never hurt me but at the same time I never thought I'd ever end up with you either. So a part of me still thinks it too good to be true. That one day I'm going to wake up alone with a shit load of cats. Jaymee's a dream come true and so are you. I don't want to wake up from that." I started crying.

"Nessa, why would I not want to be with you? Yeah, when I was with Gena I fucked up and made a mistake that honestly I don't regret because look where I'm at now. Despite the fact we're in a hospital right now, I have you and a gorgeous daughter. We have a home together. I'm with the girl I've always wanted to be with. Even death couldn't take me away from you at this point. Our past is our past. I'd do anything for you Nessa." He said and held me close.

"I know. Thats why I feel so bad for giving you the cold shoulder earlier. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything I just was shooken up because I can't sleep anymore without dreaming about you with that dumb bimbo. I feel like I'm losing it Zacky." I said. "Now we're in this hospital cause something is wrong with our daughter and its all my fault."

Zacky just held me tighter and tighter to him. I don't deserve his affection right now, but I was glad I had it. Just then the doctor walked in. He gave me an odd look. So right off the bat, I knew I wasn't going to like this doctor very much.

"So what seems to be the issue today?" The doctor asked.

"Well my daughter has been coughing and gagging." Zacky answered since I wasn't really paying attention to the doctor.

"Hmm, Lets take a look." The doctor said opening Jaymee's mouth without even asking if it was okay. So of course I gave him a dirty look. "Well she seems to be having an acid reflux issue. Its very common in babies at her age. We tend to call it the balloon effect here though."

"What's the balloon effect?" I asked.

"Okay say you're filling up a ballon with water and you don't tie the end of the balloon. Of course the water comes back out because the balloon wants to go back to its original size. Well the same thing happens to babies. Their digestive system doesn't respond as fast as ours do." He explained.

"So what can we do about it?" Asked Zacky.

"The best thing is to feed her smaller portions and to also burp her more often. We wouldn't want her to choke. So go ahead and go home just keep an eye on her. If theres anymore problems just come back in and see me." He smiled and then exited the room.

"Lets go home." Zacky said.

"What about the studio?" I asked.

"Fuck. I'm pretty sure the guys are in the waiting room as we speak." Zack said to me so we both went out to go see if we could find them.

Sure enough, there they all were sitting in the waiting room with worried faces.

"Is everything okay?" They said in unison.

"Everythings fine. We just got to burp her more often." Zack said. "Oh, and guys I won't be able to finish today. I need to be with my daughter and Nessa." He turned to smile at me.

"Actually, how bout me and Jaymee join you guys in the studio?" I said. As soon as I said that Zack's face lit up. "I'm sort of curious if you guys are just as crazy as you used to be when you first started playing in Zack's garage." I laughed.

"Va-Va-Vanessa! You should sing a little something for us in the studio." Jimmy screamed out even though he was less then 5 feet in front of me.

"Oh come on Ja-Ja-Jimmy. You know I quit singing when I got prego with Jaymee." I said.

"Hey babe, I think its a good idea." Zack turned to me.

I stood there for a second thinking of the pros and cons of that.

"We'll see when we get to the studio." was all I could say. So we hopped in our cars and all headed to the studio. This should be interesting.
