Life As We Know It

Zacky 's POV*
After Nessa's nightmare last night I had a hard time sleeping. I wish I knew what was going on in her dreams so I could understand why they effect her so much but she won't budge. All morning she tried to play it off while I was getting ready to go to the studio too.
"Babe, have you seen my NOFX t-shirt?" I yelled to her from the bathroom.
"Uhm no baby I haven't seen it." She yelled back.
So I went to go look for it and it was right next to her. She was so out of it and she looked really tired. I felt like shit, like there was nothing I could do. She was happy yesterday after we had our time alone.
"Nessa, you know you can tell me if something is wrong right?" I asked her.
"No baby I'm fine." She says with a smile i could tell was fake. She got up from the bed and went to go grab Jaymee, who was crying in her crib. She moved so sluggishly.
"Baby, go back to bed. You need sleep. I'll just bring Jaymee with me to work. I'm sure the guys wouldn't mind." I said to her.
"No babe, I can do it. Go ahead and go to work." She said trying to smile at me again.
I walked up to her and gave her a kiss. She turned her head and I ended up kissing her cheek. I tried not to let this bother me. I gave the baby a kiss on her forehead and headed out into my car. A part of me didn't want to go to work, to stay home and help take care of the baby. The other part figured Nessa needed some time to sort out her thoughts since she clearly didn't want to tell me. After a few minutes of debating it in my car I drove to the studio. Hopefully, things would be better later.
I pulled up to the parking lot and literally 2 seconds later, Matt was at my car door. Fuck! I knew he wanted to get me back for last night but I just got here. I got off the car and Matt just stared at me.
"Hey Shadz." I said to him as i went to grab my guitars out of my trunk.
""Vengeance..." He smiled. That was it though, he just smiled and walked back into the studio.
I followed slowly behind him but I decided I needed a cigarette first. Too much tension everywhere today, cigarette break was definitely needed. Besides I don't want to smoke around the house because of the baby anyways. As I was about to light my cigarette Nessa started calling me.
"Hey baby!" I answered the phone.
"Zack I need you to come home right now!" She said in a rush.
"I'll be there as soon as I can baby!" I said nearly running back to my car.
Brian pulled up as I reached my car.
"Dude, where are you going?" He asked.
"Nessa needs me. I'll call when I know whats going on." I said and got into my car and left.
Vanessa's POV*
After Zacky left*
I listened for him as he pulled away from the house. I felt so bad for giving him the cold shoulder when he tried to kiss me. It wasn't his fault I was acting this way, I mean sure in my dreams he's been very asshole like but thats not who he really is. I wanted to make it up to him. Maybe make some dinner for him tonight. I had no idea how to even explain whats been bothering me though. I know he's bound to ask me again. Thats what caring people do.
I walked out into the livingroom so I could sit down with Jaymee. She was such a good girl no problems at all. She rarely cried, she slept during good times of the day and to top it off, everyone loved her as soon as they seen her. That was the best thing. She's a part of me and Zacky. I stared at my little pride and joy with admiration. Scares me to think someday she has to face this world and all of the fucked up people in it. I pushed that thought out of my head.
The next thing I knew she started choking. Then she began throwing up. I was scared. I tried burping her hoping it was just cause she needed to burp but she started choking again. I needed to take her to the hospital. I pulled out my phone and called Zacky.
"Zack, I need you to come home right now!" I said very fast barely taking breaths.
He said he'd be right here so I hung up the phone and tried burping the baby again. She just kept choking, it sounded like a gagging noise but either way, none of those were good. Hopefully, Zacky gets here quickly, I don't anything bad to happen to my baby girl.
