When Athena came to she found that she wasn’t in her apartment or with Bret, instead she was in an all too familiar bed.

“You’re awake.” Matt grinned.

“Get the fuck away from me!” Athena screamed.

“Don’t be like that, At.” Matt calmly made his way over to her.

“Get away!” Athena yelled and jumped off the bed, getting as far away from him as she could.

“At, come here.” Matt began to lose his temper.

“Never.” She spat.

“At, come here now!” Matt yelled angrily.

Athena watched as he walked close to her and roughly grabbed her arm, pulling her close to him.

“Let go.” Athena snapped.

Matt tightened his grip and Athena reacted by slapping her hand against the side of his face. Matt’s head flew to the side and he let go of Athena. She took the opportunity to run out of the room but was caught before she got too far by Jimmy. He covered her mouth with his hand then pulled her into his room.

“I had nothing to do with this. I didn’t tell them shit, okay? So I’m gonna let go of your mouth now but you’ve gotta promise not to scream, hit me, or run.” Jimmy whispered after he shut the door.

Athena nodded and Jimmy took his hand off of her mouth. True to her word, Athena didn’t hit, scream, or run away from him. Instead she hugged him tightly.

“I’m so sorry At, I swear I didn’t tell anyone where you were.” Jimmy sqeezed her tightly.

Athena nodded and kissed his cheek, “Is Ruby okay?”

Jimmy nodded, “She’s downstairs.”

“Where are we?” She asked.

“The house, don’t you recognize it? We redecorated a bit.” Jimmy answered.

She looked at him confused.

He sighed, “Damn, Matt must have put to much chloroform on it than he thought. You’ve been out for almost two days.”

“What’s today?” Athena asked.

“Saturday, tomorrow’s Easter.” Jimmy answered.

“Ruby and I were supposed to color eggs.” She stated looking down at her feet.

“You still can, I’ll talk Matt into letting you.” Jimmy said with a smile trying to get Athena’s eyes to shine again.

“Do you wanna see her?” Jimmy asked when Athena didn’t say anything.

She nodded hope filling up her eyes. Jimmy signaled for her to be quiet before he grabbed her hand and led her out of the room and down a flight of stairs. Before they got to the bottom Athena raced to her sister who looked scared.

“Ruby!” Athena screamed as Ruby screamed, “Athena!”

Jimmy smiled at the hugging sisters but felt upset when he heard Matt.

“Ahhh so there you are.”

The two didn’t even part instead the held on tighter to each other. Before Matt could walk closer to Athena, Jimmy grabbed him.

“Tomorrow is Easter, how about we let the girls color eggs?”

Matt smiled softly remembering the last East her had spent with Athena.

Matt grinned and tossed some of the dye onto Athena. Her mouth formed a perfect O.

“You ass!” She laughed tossing the blue one his head.

“Oooh your in trouble now.” Matt grinned devilishly.

Athena giggled and began to run around the house with Matt right on her tail. They were the only people in the house. They filled the house with the sound of running and laughter.

Finally Matt tackled her onto the ground and began to tickle her. Athena went into fits of giggles, squirming trying to get out of his grasp. Finally Matt quit but Athena had other plans. She tackled him onto the ground and began to kiss all over his face making sure to miss his lips. Matt rolled over so she was underneath him and kissed her lips.

Before it could get too heated Matt pulled away and smiled down at her, “I love you.”

“I love you two.”

Matt snapped out of his flashback and nodded. He walked up the stairs to take a shower. All he needed right now was to relax since he now had his girl back.
