It was five to eleven in the morning and Marley was sitting in her flat playing with Raxus. He was currently fighting her for a squeaky toy, and he was winning. Marley jumped when someone knocked at the door and went to open it.

“Hi, sweet cheeks.” Brian smiled at her, Marley opened the door wider and let him come in. He was wearing a white t-shirt with khaki shorts and flip-flops.

“Here's your bracelet.” Brian handed her the bracelet and a daisy, Marley laughed at his attempt at being romantic.

“For having so many tattoo's and muscles, you really like buying flowers.” Marley laughed, placing the daisy in the vase with the orchids in.

“Pretty flowers for a pretty lady.” He winked.

“Are you ready to go?” Brian asked her.

“One minutes, just let me put my watch on then we'll go.” She answered.

Marley put her watch on and filled Raxus' water bowl. She opened her door and let Brian out then shouted a goodbye to her dog.

They pulled up outside a small café by the beach. Before Marley could open her door, Brian was there opening it for her. He shut the door and grabbed her hand. Marley raised an eyebrow at him and he just winked in response.

“Have you ever been here before?” Brian asked her, leading her into the café.

“No, is it nice here?”

Marley and Brian sat down in a booth next to the window.

“It has the best pancakes this side of California.” Brian told her, surprised that she hadn't been here before.

Marley picked up her menu and looked over it, she stared at it for a good two minutes before she put it back down.

“What are you getting?” He asked her.

“I don't know, I was gonna ask you what was nice.” She smiled sheepishly at him.

Brian laughed, “How 'bout I order a large breakfast platter for the both of us and you can try everything?” He asked her.

Marley's eyes widened and she nodded quickly.

“What drink do you want?”

“Uh, a large strawberry milkshake.” Marley told him, not put off in the slightest that it was still quite early.

The waitress came over and Brian ordered their food, Marley's milkshake and a large chocolate milkshake for himself.

“Want to play a game?” Brian asked her, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“Okay.” Marley replied, raising her eyebrows.

“Well, I ask you a question, and if you answer, you get to ask me a question, but if you don't answer, I get to ask you another one.” He told her, a smirk appearing on his lips.

“Can I ask you another question if you don't answer?” She asked him, her smirk matching his.

“Sure, you gonna play then?” He raised an eyebrow at her, silently daring her.

“Yep.”

“We'll start easy. Full name?” He asked her.

“Marley Rosetta Andreacchi. Yours?”

“Brian Elwin Haner Junior.”

“Elwin?” Marley laughed.

Brian pulled a face at her causing her to laugh even more.

“You're part Italian?” He asked her, picking a straw up to play with.

“A little bit, my great-grandparents moved to England when my grand-dad was only young. I'm named after my great-grandmother.” She told him.

“Do you work?” Marley asked him, taking a sip of her milkshake that had just arrived.

“I'm the lead guitarist in a band with my friends, Zacky is the rhythm guitarist and Jimmy is the drummer, you haven't met Johnny, our bassist or Matt, our singer yet. We're making our fourth album now.” He said, poking her in the face with the straw he had been playing with.

Marley swatted the straw away and laughed, “Really? What's your band called?”

“Avenged Sevenfold, have you heard of us?” He asked, picking another straw up to poke her with.

“I've heard a few of your songs, don't you all have stage names?”

“Yep, Synyster Gates at your service.” He winked at her.

Marley laughed. She was about to ask who's turn it was when a plate about one and a half feet long was placed in-between them. It was filled with pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausages, hash browns, french toast, two small omelets, scrambled eggs and a plate of ordinary toast. Then the waitress placed syrup, three different types of jam and peanut butter down next to it. Marley just stared

Brian thanked the waitress and laughed at Marley's face.

“...Wow.”

He passed her a knife and fork and said to her, “Have fun.”

Marley's only reply was, “Oh, I will.”

Ten minutes later and most of the food was gone. Marley was leaning back with her hands on her overstuffed stomach. Brian was sitting the same way.

“Ugh, I don't think I'll be hungry for another three days.” Marley groaned, rubbing her stomach.

Brian laughed, “You didn't even eat that much!”

“Shut up Elwin, you ate enough for three people.” Marley stuck her tongue out at him.

“Do you wanna walk along the beach for a bit and we'll carry on with our game?” He asked her.

“Sure.”

Brian paid the bill and stood up, he waited for Marley to stand then grabbed her hand and led her out of the café. The walked along the pier until they got to the beach and Marley bent down to take her shoes and socks off.

“You have a nice ass.” Brian said to her as she was pulling her socks off.

“So do you.” She stood up and winked at him.
