It was the day after Marley and Brian's date and Marley was working, just a tad hungover. She was in the puppy pens weighing some of the newer puppies when her phone rang. Quickly checking that no one else was in the room with her, she pulled out her phone and answered it.

Hello? She asked, forgetting to check the caller ID.

It was half seven in the evening and Marley, Taylor, Taylor's husband Aaron, Heidi and Jason were in the cinema, waiting to see The Possession. Aaron was teasing Marley about her fear of horror movies.

You gonna sit next to Jay for a cuddle Marley? He wiggled his eyebrows at her.

Um, no thanks. She laughed. Aaron looked at Jason and started laughing.

Rejected! He shouted, a few people turned their heads to look at him.

I didn't mean it like that, dickhead. She said to Aaron, pushing him.

The doors for the movie room opened and the group walked in, sitting in the middle of the seats for the best view. Not many people were there because the film had already been in the cinemas for about three weeks.

Ten minutes into the film and popcorn was being thrown at the back of Marley's head. She turned around to see Brian sitting three rows up in between two of his friends, smirking at her. Marley flipped him off and stuck her tongue out at him.

She turned around and another handful of popcorn hit her in the back of the head. She turned to look and Brian had switched seats with one of his friends and was motioning for her to come up to him. Marley, deciding to ignore him, turned back around.

Marley got up from her seat and walked up to where Brian was sitting.

What?! She huffed.

Come and sit with me. Brian smiled at her an innocent look on his face.

Really? Marley asked, not believing her went through all that trouble for her to sit by him.

Marley sat down next to him, and leaned into the back of the chair. She pulled her phone out and sent a quick text to Heidi telling her that she was going to sit with Brian for the rest of the film.

I'm Jimmy. One of Brian's friends whispered to her, sticking his hand out. He was tall, with black hair and blue eyes, He had a labret stud and glasses.

Hi, I'm Marley. She shook his hand.

I'm Zacky. Brian's other friend whispered to her. He had black hair and snakebites. He was sitting two seats away from her so he couldn't shake his hand.

Hi. She whispered to him.

The film was just getting to the scary parts and Marley was half on Brian's lap with his arm over his eyes.

Has it gone yet? She whispered to Brian.

Yeah. He laughed.

Marley took his arm down and the girl was still on the screen. She jumped and pulled Brian's arm back over her eyes.

You bastard! She pinched his arm. Brian laughed in response.

The rest of the film was spent in with Marley in Brian's lap and Brian, Zacky and Jimmy teasing her for being scared.

I hate you guys. Marley huffed.

Brian and Marley were standing outside the cinema, waiting for Jimmy and Zacky; they had gone to a near McDonald's and Brian and Marley had decided to stay at the cinema

Why are they taking so long? Marley was confused as to why they were taking so long as the McDonald's was just over the road from the cinema.

Brian just shrugged and stood closer to Marley, discreetly slipping his arm around her waist.

Are you still up for breakfast tomorrow? Brian asked her.

Yeah, you're picking me up at eleven, right? She looked up at him.

He nodded in response.

Brian stood in front of her and slipped his other arm around her waist, interlocking them behind her back. Marley raised her eyebrows at him and he smirked at her.

What are you doing? She questioned him.

Nothing, just thought you looked cold. He told her.

Marley laughed, Really? She slipped her arms around his neck and pulled herself closer to him. I think I'm starting to warm up a bit now though.

Brian looked down at her and lowered his head. She stared up at him and subconsciously licked her lips, his eyes broke from hers and flicked down to watch the action. Marley stood on her tip-toes and puckered her lips.

Wolf whistles broke them from their stupor and in Marley's fright, she fell on Brian causing the both of them to fall to the floor.

Marley pulled herself up and left Brian to get up himself.
