Indestructabe Part 2: Realizing What I've Done
Angels Show Up In The Strangest Of Places
My eyes fluttered open and I looked and seen Meg was still asleep. I picked her up adn set her on the other side of the couch and made may way into the kitchen to make dinner. I pulled out some chicken and began to cook it. I hope the guys like my Chicken Alfredo. The chicken was almost done so I started the noodles and they finished right when the chicken did. I set the table and put out beers for everyone and gave Meg some soda. I walked into the living room ans she was still sleeping. I gently shook her shoulder and she woke up.
"Dinner is ready sweetheart." I said and she nodded. She followed me into the kitchen and I made her and myself a plate and she sat down at the table. As we ate the guys came in right into the kitchen.
"Something smells fucking good in here." I heard Zacky say. I shook my head and continued eating while the others piled their plates full of my food. Matt leaned back in his chair and groaned loudly.
"I'm guessing the food was good." I said smiling.
"It wasnt good. It was fucking amazing." I smiled and took their plates as Brian took Meg into the living room with the others. I washed and put away the dishes and hopped up onto the countertop. I started thinking about my parents and wishing they were here to see Meg. I wanted them to be here so Meg could know her grandparents but I knew that wasnt going to happen.
A tear ran down my face and I quickly wiped it away. I hoped off the counter and went into the living room. I sat down in the recliner and Meg jumped up into my lap. I held her into my arms and she fell asleep again. I carried her up to her room. I opened the door with one hand and laid her into the bed covering her up. I kissed her forehead and turned on her nightlight and shut the door quietly. I went back downstairs and sat down on Brian's lap. He kissed my cheek and I laid my head on his shoulder as he pulled me closer to him. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep in his arms.
~~~~~~~BRIAN'S POV~~~~~~
I looked down at Ame and she was fast asleep. The guys were all knocked out too so I picked her up and carried her up to my room just like she did Meg. I laid her down on the bed before stripping down only in my boxers. I climbed into bed next to her and she snuggle closer to me. I wrapped my arm around her and listened to her breathing and fell asleep in minutes.
~~~~~~~MEG'S POV~~~~~
I woke up to a bright light shining down on me. I seen a woman's face appear before me and I curled into a ball frightened. The woman looked a whole lot like my mom.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm your grandmother." She smiled at me. I smiled back but the smile faded.
"Why is there a bright light around you?" I asked. My curiousity getting the best of me.
"I'm an angel sweetheart. Ask your mother in the morning. I'm sure she'll tell you but in case she doesn't. I'll visit you tomorrow night." She smiled and ran a hand through my hair soothingly.
"You leaving?" I asked and she nodded.
"Don't worry. I'll be back tomorrow." I watched as she faded away. I sat up in bed and looked around my room. The only light that was in my room was the nightlight and surely it didn't get that bright. I laid back down and closed my eyes. Sleep was more powerful than my thoughts.
