Book 2: Growing Up

Deanna's P.O.V.
I put down my little angel in her crib and came downstaris to get a bite to eat. My parents were out and about, gettiing my school supplies and what not. I wasn't looking forward to school, it was bad enough I had to leave my baby home with her grandma but i knew she would be safe, I was just going to miss her like crazy.
I got the pizza in the oven when Jimmy bolted into the door making me jump in response. I looked and before I knew it I was in his arms spinning around screaming not even sure what in the world was going on. He set me down and kissed me full of passion before pulling away leaving me looking at him with a dumb expression on my face. Geesh I love them kisses. My heart was melted and I felt like falling over.
"Baby guess what?" He asked, his hands in mine squeezing making me come back to reality. I looked into them precious blue eyes and saw so much love and excitement.
"What is it baby?" I asked him. His face was so bright, so heavenly.
"I'm the father," He smiled brightly. My heart skipped a beat as he told me this. Jimmy was the father after all?! I squealed and jumped up on him and wrapped my legs around his waist and held onto him tightly as he spun me around. We were laughing and spinning around in the kitchen. I was so happy! Jimmy was the father, it just made everything so much easy, we were madly in love, it was out little baby girl. He was so happy to be the father, ever since we had that little vacation, we couldn't stop talking about the baby. Sure he wanted a son but things changed and he was just as happy with a little girl.
"I can't believe this Deanna," He smiled at me, putting me down, I stayed in his embrace, crying happy tears, "We should celebrate," He said. I chuckled.
"How baby?" I asked, pulling away and wiping the tears away, "School starts in a few days and I need to be with baby, and-" The smell of burning came to me and I sighed, going to the oven and grabbing my pizza out and putting it on top of the oven and looked at the dark, pitch-black crust and sighed.
"Well," Jimmy said, leaning against the counter, "We can give you cooking lessons," He laughed earning a punch at the shoulder making him whine.
"Oh you big baby," I said sticking out my tongue. He laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Come on, just me, you, in your bedroom, your parents are away-"
"We're home!" My mother called and Jimmy went limp sighing making me laugh. I came and helped her with the groceries and my dad came in and asked what I burnt.
"It was Jimmy's fault anyways," I chuckled earning a risen eyebrow from dad and I rolled my eyes and started to put the things away and Jimmy went and called in some dinner.
"Here is your school supplies honey," My mom said giving me a few bags. New clothes, binders, paper and utensils. I smiled and kissed her cheek before going upstairs and getting everything situated and Jimmy came up and checked on our baby girl who was sleeping soundly.
Jimmy's P.O.V.
I looked down at my sleeping Sam, holding her hand and smiling brightly down at her as my chin rested on my arm that was on the crib.
"Your so beautiful baby girl," I whispered, lightly touching her cheek as she slept, "Just like your mother," I whispered. Sam moved just a little looking like she was about to fuss but calmed down again. Deanna came inside the room and shut the door as quietly as she could and came behind me and wrapped her arms around me and rested her chin on my arm and smiled.
"She's beautiful, huh daddy?" She asked me and kissed me cheek. I straightened up and pulled Deanna beside me and kissed the top of her head, holding her close as I looked at my daughter. When Sam opened her eyes though, my heart kind of skipped a beat. The closer I looked at my little girl, the more she looked like someone else.
