nightmare!
They sounded really good... They made my singing in the shower sound like a dying cat. I must've sat there with my mouth open for the entire song, amazed that human beings could create noise that awesome. They said that today they would be working on their album 'Nightmare', which they were dedicating to the Rev, today, and that I would be the first person to hear it. When they finally stopped to take a snack break, they came over to me, grinning and sweaty. "Why the heck are you guys sweaty? What are you doing that requires extensive physical work?" I asked. They just laughed and crowded me, wrapping their sweaty tattooed arms around me, filling the good air in my proximity with man smell. I tried, but failed, to push them away.
"Awww, don't lie! You love our stink! Almost as much as you love our music... Yeah we saw you, standing there with your jaw on the ground! Heck yeah, we rock that much!" Zacky said, high-fiving the rest of the guys. He came to me last. I lifted my hand up and slapped his rough one, covered in calluses from playing the guitar.
"Ok, thats it for today... It's lunch time! Where do you guys want to go... We can eat at my house. Is that OK, Kaylee? You could meet Val, my wife." Matt said. I nodded, getting up to go. I followed them back to the car, ducking down to get my head in without messing up my hair. If I was going to meet Matt's wife, I didn't want to look like they had just pulled me off the street.
