"Um, hi Mr. Jacobson. I'm Kaylee."I said nervously, feeling my palms become clammy and sweaty. Syn seemed to notice my distress and stepped over to me, snaking an arm around my shoulder and pressing me into his side. He smiled down at me, with a look that said 'I've got you covered'. I grinned back gratefully, glad the boys cared about me so much.
"Hi Kaylee, and please, call me Larry." He held out his hand for me to shake. I hesitated, but Syn nudged me forward, forcing me to take a step forward. That traitor. Smiling nervously, I placed my small, cool hand into Larry's large warm one. He beamed, his 1000 watt smile directed at not just me, but every single one of us in the room. "Anyway, like I said, busy day today. we only have till the sun goes down and we need to hurry!"
"Um actually Larry, we only have about 2 hours... We have other things to do." Matt said, leaning against one of the red walls.
"Well, in that case, COME ON! What are we waiting for? Lets get a move on!"
