Brian’s P.O.V

Erin, Matt and I all sat there as Hannah ran off to go question Gena and Val… that’s why nobody fucking told her because now both of them were gonna be snooping around for answers.

“She shouldn’t be asking about it… she is only pulling it to the surface” I said to Matt and Erin turned her head to be and I could tell that she was a mix between worried and mad.

“I knew that there was stuff that you had done in the past… but I didn’t think it was big enough to be buried and never brought up” Erin said and Matt turned to her and we were both just staring at her… she was searching her mind, Hannah was the one who went looking for answers… but Erin… pieced stuff together and then pulled it up…

“Erin you and Hannah are getting too worried about this… you have to stop” Matt said and I just stood there and she looked at him and then at me.

“If Hannah and I were to stop… could you promise that no matter what we are safe… that your demons won’t return?” Erin asked me and I just sat there pursing my lips together and then I looked at Matt who was now fidgeting and I got a little restless and hesitated…

“There is a baby coming into this world… and Hannah doesn’t need someone coming after the child.. nor do I want anyone to come after any of us… if you two knew that Gena and Val knew this information maybe you should have taken care of them… so that we didn’t figure this out” I heard Erin say while my back was turned and she was absolutely right… everything has been changing and we made the mistake of letting it surface.

“Erin we haven’t had issues with that part of our life in years… but if you dig this up… I can’t stop things from turning up… so please you need to call Hannah and stop this… you need to not dive into our pasts… because for any of us in the band it would lead to very bad things” I said to her and I turned around and she was trembling and I knew that I was scaring her… she has been through so much but I wanted enough to be enough.

“Fine” She said and she grabbed her bag and her phone dialing Hannah and walked home.

Erin’s P.O.V

Brian stayed with Matt probably to talk about the issue that had just been brought up… and he may think I am going home… but I am not.. I walked down the street to the other guys house in the pouring rain and Jimmy answered the door and I walked right past him.

“Ummm E is everything alright?” He asked and Zack and Johnny walked into the room.

“All three of you give me your phones right now… burners too” I said to them and Johnny was the first to comply and then Jimmy but Zack just sat there looking at me like I was crazy.

“Give it to me Zack… I am not messing around” I said and he grabbed the two phones in his pockets and I turned every single phone except mine off and sat down on the couch staring at them all.

“Alright guys.. I need answers… you are gonna give them to me right now” I said and I looked at Jimmy mainly because he was the one who conducts any and all searches on people…. He was going to be the most knowledgeable.

“On what? What answers are you looking for Erin?” Zack asked moving to the leg rest in front of the sofa looking right at me.

“I know that Matt and Brian have told you about my incident with Gena… and they have told you what she has said to me… I was threat levels… I wanna know if something is actually massive enough to come back up and haunt us” I said to him and they all just froze in place and after a moment Papa Gates took me off guard coming around the corner.

“Erin your husband told you to stop digging… listen to him and go home” He said and I stood up and walked over to Papa Gates.

“After everything that has happened Papa Gates I thought you would be the one who understood how much we really hate people coming after us… and how much this scares me… we just talked about this the other day with your son!” I said loudly and he came over and hugged me tightly because the subject that came up was a doozy on both him and Brian.

“I wanna know what the heck is going on” Jimmy stated stomping his foot on the ground like a child causing Papa Gates and I to laugh. I went over and hugged Jimmy tightly and I just pulled back a little not really wanting to bring up the other day… but I sat down flashing back to the conversation I had not too long after Gena first told me about what could happen.

*”You are gonna start giving me some grandkids soon right my dear” Papa Gates asked as he joined Brian and I for dinner and I just sat there replaying talking to Brian about Gena but when I looked over he was glowing in happiness thinking about children.

“When the time is right it will happen Dad” Brian said and I just sat there pushing rice on my
plate… Hannah was happy and she was super excited for her child… but I am too terrified with or without the men’s demons… I wasn’t ready.

“Well I hope that you get on it like Hannah and Matt! You two would have some gorgeous and talented children” Papa Gates said and I was literally getting overwhelmed and Brian grabbed my hand stopping my fork before it nearly broke the plate.

“What the hell is going on with you?” He asked and I just sighed and realized that I was gonna have to be straight forward about this.

“Look… the kids subject… freaks me out… I want kids but not right now… not with the way everything is sitting okay, I love you and I want to make sure that we have a family… but everything terrifies me at the moment” I said and they both fell silent and I just didn’t know what to do or say.*

“Erin just take a deep breath and calm down it’s really alright” Papa Gates said and Jimmy just was confused and I stood up grabbing my keys and walked towards the door not even saying a word to anyone and got in my car speeding in the rain to Hannah. I grabbed my phone and called Hannah.

“Hey E, I promise I am on my way home! It’s just that this storm is a fucking mess and I can barely see!” She said and just as I was about to reply to her about the rain and the storm my car… collided with another.. head on making me black out as my head went forward and then slammed backwards into my seat.
