Brian’s P.O.V
I was with my father and Jimmy and we were out grabbing some food and I was really exhausted with what just happened with Erin and Hannah. I sat there rubbing at the beanie that was on my head and sipped my drink as we sat there waiting for the actual food to take home.
“So Bri, how are you and E right now?” Jimmy asked and my father sat up a little and I could tell that he was really interested in this subject.
“We are great, obviously she and I have to talk about that car chase but right now I am so happy with her” I said and my dad just smiled and Jimmy seemed ecstatic.
“Do you think that you two will end up like Matt and Hannah anytime soon? Ya know bring her into this family that we have here” My dad asked and I just sat there shocked that either of them brought up the marriage subject with me.
“I don’t know, I got into this stuff because of betrayal and I have found it hard to get to that level ever since” I said trying not to bring up the past and I sat there fidgeting… damn the wait for the food.
“Do you trust Erin? Because from what everyone has seen you two are literally so perfect for each other” Jimmy said and I just stood up and paced around and they both just sat there chatting about me and Erin and about whether they thought she would even say yes if it were to that level.
“Can we please talk about something different! You two are driving me insane! Yes I fucking love Erin more than anyone else but it would look totally fucking weird if I asked her to marry me! I am just trying to focus on making this last first. Matt and Hannah are happy how they are and doing what they wanna do and me and Erin will get there when we are good and ready” I said and they both just sat there staring at me with wide eyes. I just sighed and sat back down and chewed a piece of gum… now the thought of Erin walking down the aisle was in my head.
Erin’s P.O.V
After a steamy hot make out session and some strong painkillers I had been asleep for a really really long time and when I woke up the sun was setting and I heard laughing coming from downstairs. Hannah wasn’t in the bed so I figured that she was downstairs with the guys and enjoying people less boring. I got up and winced from my arm and hopped into the shower and then threw on a white spaghetti strap and then a light wash pair of jeans.
“Sounds like everyone is partying without me” I said laughing a little bit and everyone like yelled my name… well they had definitely been drinking for a while. I sat there smelling the strong smell of whiskey, vodka and tequila and Hannah came over throwing her arm around me.
“I love you E… you are so fucking awesome and you are definitely gonna be my maid of honor” She said slurring her words and I just laughed taking a drink of water and then I noticed the Chinese food bags.
“You bitches didn’t even bother to wait up for me! That is my favorite place!” I said
loudly and grabbed another painkiller. Brian stood up and kissed me and then showed me that he kept some food for me.
“I made sure to save you some of the rice that you liked and I got you some Thai just in case you get hungry again” He said wrapping his arms around my waist and kissed me neck.
“If I get hungry why can’t I just have some of you” I said giggling and turning around and I kissed him roughly and started making out with him. He growled a little on my lips and I felt the vibration of it in my cheeks and I could feel the want growing but he pulled away.
“E you were shot and you cannot take that painkiller on an empty stomach and besides I wanted to talk to you about something” He said and sat me down and I was just confused. He opened up the containers and I just sat there awkwardly.
“What?” He asked stopping.
“What do you want to talk about? Did I like do something wrong?” I asked and he just smiled and kissed me.
“No, I just wanted to ask you, how you felt about the level that Matt and Hannah are on” He said leaning back into the arm of the couch… what was he trying to say?
“Ummm they are happy so I am glad that they are on that level I guess… I am really confused by this Brian” I said and he just laughed again but then got serious.
Brian’s P.O.V
I know that Erin was confused about the subject that I was on but I really just needed to dip inside her mind and figure out where she was with these kinds of things… I just needed to know that there may be a chance of marrying one day.
“I am not trying to weird you out, I am just asking, trying to figure everything out about you” I said to her and she kept eating but she gazed over a couple of times and I could tell that her mind was filled with thoughts and stuff just like mine was when my father and Jimmy talked to me about it.
“Listen Brian, I have a lot of shit go on in my life which is still ongoing, but I really love you and you have been really great to me, when the time is right between us we will make it to their level which I really hope we stay together for… but right now is not the time” She said and my heart relaxed knowing that we were on the same page. I got up and kissed her lips gently and her phone started ringing loudly.
“Hello” She said and then her face went sour and all she did was listen to the voice over the phone. She got up and she was pacing around the room and everyone was starting to take notice. Erin stopped and she threw her phone against the wall and she looked very upset.
“What is going on?” I asked her and Matt and Hannah just watched her carefully.
“My sister was just making her presence known… said that she was very glad to hear the we found out who the car was registered to… then she proceeded to tell me that she was happy to know that some of her friends were still working assassination jobs” Erin said and everyone in the house fell silent. Hannah walked over to Erin and she held her hand and put her head on her shoulder.
“Papa Gates… you wouldn’t by any chance have contacts to get a hold of to locate and
track the assassins?” She asked my father and he stood up and nodded flipping open his cell phone and making calls.
“But we don’t know who will come for who” I said and Erin came and sat down and was still for a moment.
“Once I locate them and get eyes on them I will know… Sarah is very detail oriented…
she doesn’t like change and I picked up her habits over the years.. we will know” I said… this was going to get really complicated.
