Three days had passed. Matty had gotten out of contract, left his boyfriend and moved in with Matt. Brian and Zack had explored more of Brian’s fetishes. Apparently the brown eyed man liked whips, gags and cock-rings. He also had a thing for silk underwear, chocolate and having a man come on his face. They spent nights exploring each other, Jared liked his room so much he hadn’t been having any bad dreams; he was excited to be in his new room. It was as if all his troubles were left at the old house.

Brian had just gotten home from work; Zack had dinner waiting on the stove for them. Jared was doing school work and all the chores were done, leaving nothing for Brian to do but kick back and relax. He sat back on the couch next to Zack who was kicked back, watching TV, leaning forward every so often to help Jared with a problem. The little boy was doing his work on the coffee table. Brian wrapped his arm around Zack pulling him to his side.

“How are my boys?” Brian turned his head, looking slightly down at Zack. The shorter man had a smile on his face.

“Good. A bit bored but otherwise good.” Zack replied honestly pressing a tender kiss to Brian’s chin.

“How about we change that?” Brian wondered returning the kiss, placing his lips to Zack’s nose.

“What do you have in mind?” Zack had a raised brow, thinking of all the options Brian could come up with.

“How about we all go to a movie?” Brian suggested. Jared looked up from his work with a smile on his face. His eyes wide in wonder, he hadn’t said a word to his dad besides hi since he arrived home. Jared stood and placed himself in his dads lap, wrapping his arms around the bigger man in a hug. He rested his head on Brian’s shoulder. “What do you guys say?”

“It would be fun.” Zack replied, smiling at his boyfriend and the little boy in his arms. He nearly wanted to aww when he heard the little boy whisper in his dad’s ear that he loved him. Brian whispered it back. Jared was one of those kids that were shy about saying those words. He didn’t want anyone else to hear them when he said it besides the person he was telling the words too. Both Zack and Brian respected that about him and didn’t announce it to the room when he said it.

“What about you buddy; do you want to go?” Jared simply nodded into his dad’s neck. “Okay go get your shoes and put a jacket on.” When the little boy went up to his bedroom Brian stood from the couch, holding his hands out to Zack. Looking deeply into his boyfriend’s eyes Brian smiled. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” Zack pressed a gentle kiss to Brian’s lips.

“You and me need to go out soon, just the two of us.” Brian pressed his forehead to his boyfriends for a second before kissing him tenderly once more.

The ringing of the phone broke the loving moment. Brian looked down at his cell phone with a frown. He answered it and was surprised when he realized who was on the other line. Brian discussed the situation with Zack and they made a plan to head to the county jail the next day.

The movie had been great; Jared accidentally fell asleep in the car on the way home. Zack carried him to bed, got him ready for sleep and kissed him good night. Once the little boy was tucked in safely, Zack made it to his and Brian’s room. “What do you think she wants?” Zack asked cuddling up to Brian’s side.

“I have no clue Zee.” Brian had his fingers trailing up and down Zack’s spine.

“Hey Brian.” Zack murmured into his boyfriends shoulder.

“Yeah baby?” Brian replied.

“Make love to me?” Zack whispered pressing a kiss to Brian’s neck. Brian shifted in the bed to where he was on one elbow, laying next to Zack while slightly leaning over him and stroking his face.

“I’d love too.” They didn’t make it to bed until about two in the morning. Brian had taken his time with his lover, pleasuring him in every way he knew how. Slowly they had made their way to an orgasm that rocked both of them to exhaustion.

The next morning they went to work. Matt’s mom looked after Jared as always and they met up in town after work to go to the local Jail. Inside they had to go through metal detectors and the normal check in process for a visit.

They were led to a room where Val sat handcuffed next to a man in a business suit. Brian and Zack took a seat on the other side of the table. “Why did you call us here Val?”

“I am in some trouble guys.” Val stated with tears in her eyes. “Look I know you all hate me for what I did to Matt but I really need help.”

“We’re not bailing you out.” Brian stated right away.

“I know you won’t and that’s not the help I need.” Val shifted in her seat. “I’ve talked to Matt about this but he refused to help me after what I did. I am facing attempted murder; not only did they press charges for the deal with Kage but am facing serious charges for trying to terminate my pregnancy.”

“How is that illegal?” Zack didn’t understand what she meant. He didn’t believe in abortion but last time he checked they weren’t illegal.
“I didn’t go about it the normal way Zack. I had the man that I was with beat me senseless in an attempt to terminate my pregnancy. I know it was wrong but he talked me into it. He didn’t want the baby and neither did I. Believe it or not I love Matt still.” Tears started to stream down Val’s face. “I know I am asking for a big favor but I don’t have anyone else to ask. I wouldn’t to go my sister for this kind of thing and Brian you know how my parents are. I am being forced into putting my baby into a foster home the day he gets out of the hospital. The dad signed over his rights and even if he hadn’t the baby would still be taken until I get out of jail. I would feel so much better knowing that he was in a safe home with people who will love him. You are the only one I can ask Brian. I’m sorry to just spring this on you but he will be out of the hospital in a week or two and I just want to know that he is in a good home.”

Both men were silent; looking at one another. Brian had his bottom lip between his teeth and Zack’s knee was bouncing like crazy. “Time’s up.” A guard spoke when he popped his head into the door. They were led out of the jail by Val’s lawyer.

“You guys don’t have to decide right away if you are willing to take the baby or not. If you do not wish to take him I am sure we can arrange for him to be in a good foster home. You have some time to make your decision, even if he gets out of the hospital before you choose you can still adopt if you wish. It will be a closed adoption since neither of the parents wants him. If you so choose, you will be the parent Mr. Haner.” The lawyer spoke walking them to their car. “Take your time with this decision; it can change quite a few lives. If you want to see the baby, say Mr. Thor sent you and they will know you are interested in adoption. If you do go see him though just be warned. He is very small due to how early he was born. The hospital barely saved his life.”

Silence filled the air as Brian and Zack sat on a bench near by after the lawyer left. “Fuck.” Brian ran a hand through his hair.

“What are you thinking?” Zack wondered entwining his fingers with Brian’s.

“I don’t know what to do. On one hand there is this baby, a fucking gift trying to be handed to me, to us. If we take him we know he will have a good life. On the other hand if we don’t he could wind up with a family like mine where my dad didn’t want me, or he could wind up with Val after she’s out. She doesn’t want him either.” Brian sighed. “And what would Matt think about it? Are we even ready for a kid Zack, this is your decision too? We are not in any way legally bound, are we ready to start a family?”

“I don’t know. I just don’t know.”
