“So how are you doing this morning Matt?” Zack asked flipping the pancakes in the frying pan once, turning around to face his friend. Matt had been living with them for the past two weeks.

“I’m tired as hell. Kage doesn’t know how to sleep through a full night yet.” Matt groaned letting his fingers brush through his short hair. “Where is Brian?”

“He went to drop off Jared an hour ago, he said he had to go to the store too.” Zack turned back to the stove, checked the pancakes and proceeded to scoop them out onto two plates. He placed one in front of Matt and the other in front of himself.

“Thanks,” Matt mumbled looking down at his food, lifting his head he looked directly at Zack. “I mean it Zack if you and Brian weren’t here I would be so fucking lost as of right now. I am really glad that Brian met you though. He lived his life in a routine before you showed up. He would go to work, fuck all day, come home and pretend he didn’t feel guilty about what he had done earlier on in the day. He would eat dinner, watch a movie with Jared, and get him ready for bed then go to sleep every night. I know he wasn’t happy at all but with you I can see just how ecstatic you make him.”

“I’m glad I found him too. I had nothing but a cheap apartment and a way over due rent when I met Brian. Hell most of the apartment is empty anyway, I don’t own much stuff.” Matt looked at Zack curiously. “My mother had a problem with my sexuality and I had to leave.”

“Ouch, that fucking sucks.” Matt stated digging into his pancakes. A buzzing distracted him momentarily, he wondered what it was until Zack pulled out his phone, he forked the food into his mouth.

“Oh shit!” Zack jumped up knocking his stool backwards, in the process he lost his phone; luckily it landed on the counter. With wide eyes Zack lifted the seat and sat it up right again. Zack ran into his and Brian’s bedroom, grabbing clothing left and right; Matt soon followed.

“What’s wrong?” Matt asked from the doorway, Zack had stripped down to his boxers and was working into a pair of nice pants. Matt couldn’t help but stare a little bit at the site of Zack’s near naked body.

“I’m late.” Zack grumbled leaving his pants unbuttoned his slipped his head into a nice t-shirt. “I totally forgot, Brian and I are meeting up with my boss today to do a walkthrough on a house.”

“If you guys are doing a walkthrough why does Brian have to be there?” Matt wondered not understanding why Brian had to be there for Zack to do his job.

“Uh no Matt,” Zack stood still with his pants open and shirt half way down. “Brian and I are looking at the house.”

Realization played across Matt’s face seconds before a smile broke loose. “You guys are going to officially move in together?”

“Yeah,” Zack buttoned his pants trying to fight his smile. “I have been living here since we got back from camping. We had talked about checking out the house and fuck I’m late.”

Matt leaned over and picked up Zack’s shoes, handing them over to his friend. “I am so happy for you guys. As soon as the repairs are done Kage and I will be out of your hair.”

“No Matt, don’t worry about it. Brian and I talked it over and if we do get this new place it has a guest room that you two can use for as long as you need.” Zack pulled his shoes on without unlacing them.

“You know I think you are the best thing that has happened around here in a long time.” Matt murmured feeling tears prick at the back of his eyes.

“Don’t worry about it Matt.” Zack quickly hugged his friend; pulling away he made his way down stairs. “We should be back by noon if not you know where everything is around this place.”

“Be safe.” Matt called out from the stairs just as Zack was exiting the room. Deciding it would be a good idea to watch some TV for an hour Matt kicked back on the couch. Matt’s phone buzzed in his back pocket signaling that he had gotten a text.

‘I can’t wait to see you.’ The text read.

‘I’m looking forward to meeting up with you too.’ Matt smiled down at his phone, sending the message. Matt had met a guy the day before at a local coffee shop. They got along quickly after the Matt had accidentally spilled his drink all over the man. In an attempt at cleaning the mess up Matt dabbed at the man’s crotch with a napkin, not even thinking about what he was doing until he felt a familiar hardness under his finger tips. The two men had talked for a half of an hour afterwards. It was awkward at first but the man made Matt feel comfortable. He was very upfront with his sexuality. Matt had pretty much explained the situation with he and Val to the stranger when he had asked why Matt looked so gloom. They decided to meet up for lunch, spending some casual time in the others company since they had gotten along so well.

‘You’re bringing the little guy right?’ Matt read when his phone went off again.

‘If it’s okay with you?’

‘Hell yeah, I adore kids.’

‘I’ll see you at twelve :) The texting stopped. Matt had a few hours to kill and he spent most of that time calming the crying baby.

By eleven thirty he set off. The cops had found his car driving down the highway, Val and some dude in it. They had been arrested on the spot. Pulling up to the diner Matt climbed from the car, grabbed the car seat with the sleeping baby and made his way inside.

Matt immediately spotted his friend and made his way over to the occupied table. “Hey man.” The guy stood from the seat, shook Matt’s hand, they sat down together. “It’s good to see you.

“Hey Jayson, you too” Matt said softly as if to not wake the baby.

The waitress came and took their orders after a minute of small talk. “I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable yesterday. I just don’t like to hide who I am.”

“I have no problem with your sexuality Jay believe me.” Matt stated with a knowing smile.

“Still, it had to be awkward for me to have popped a boner with you trying to help me.” Jayson chuckled as the waitress looked at him with wide eyes, sat down the plates and scurried off.

“Not really.” Matt grabbed his fork and dug into his pasta.

“Are you sure you’re strait?” Jayson joked piling food into his mouth.

“No.” Matt stated simply a second before his eyes met Jayson’s startled set.

“Shit, I just assumed.” Jayson trailed off with a light blush tinting his cheeks. “So are you Bi?”

“Something like that.” Matt chuckled.

“Again I just assume since you have that little bundle of fun.” Jayson turned his attention to the baby carrier.

“This is a new adjustment I can assure you.” Matt fiddled with his fingers on top of the table.

“Did it start after you and your wife split?” Curiosity laced his voice.

“No actually it started I think a few months back when I realized how hot my best friend and his boyfriend are together.” Pink tinted Matt’s cheeks with realization of what he just said. Jayson gave him a look to go on, letting Matt know he was interested. “I guess it started a long time back. Brian use to be married to my wife’s twin.” Jayson had a coy smile on his face as he listened to his new friend’s dirty deeds. “They use to like being in the same room while going at it. It’s kind of inevitable that you see things on the other couple as well. My focus was on his dick, I just never realized it until recently.”

“How and when did you realize it?” Jayson grabbed a hold of his soda, taking a sip while watching his friend.

“When I watched my friend fuck his boyfriend.” Matt smirked at the shocked look on Jayson’s face.

“Were you spying?” He had wide eyes.

“No I was in on it.” Matt couldn’t look the other in the eyes as he admitted that, he was so embarrassed to be talking about his sex life with an almost stranger.

“How far have you gone with them?” The boys sat back after finishing their meal, just chatting.

“All the way.” Matt finally lifted his gaze.

“How did that go down, was it a threesome or did you just go with one of them, did you like it, what all did you do?” Jayson asked before he could stop himself. “I’m sorry, feel free to not answer that. I am too nosey for my own good.”

“No, it’s alright. It was a threesome; I didn’t take but Brian’s boyfriend Zack did. Damn I never imagined him doing what he did.” Matt stared off into space with amazement. “Not to make you sound sleazy or anything but since you are in your line of work it makes me wonder, have you ever been double penetrated?”

“No! Never. I have fucked a lot of men and had my ass reamed quite a few times but shit no I would never take two dicks.” Just as he spoke those words the baby woke up with a scream. Matt took him out of his seat and tended to all of his needs. “He’s adorable, just like his dad.”

Matt could feel his cheeks redden. Since they had both already eaten they had handled the bill and had decided to take a walk around town. Matt kept switching arms holding the baby and the carrier until Jayson happily took the seat from the larger man. Matt thanked him. Both men decided to stop by a couple stores, buying random items that they fancied. By the time they were ready to part ways Matt had Kage strapped into his cars seat in the back of the car. Standing in the open doorway the boys said their goodbyes. Matt closed the door but before he could go to the drivers side Jayson gripped his bicep, he quickly leaned forward and pressed his lips snugly to Matt’s. Before he could respond Jayson pulled away with a smile.

“Can I see you again?” Jayson went out on a limb, putting himself out there hoping Matt would accept his offer.

“When and where?” Matt asked sort of dazed.

“How about Friday night at six, you and I can go bowling and have dinner?” Jayson suggested nibbling on his bottom lip.

“I’ll meet you there.” Matt smiled this time catching Jayson off guard with a quick kiss, turning around he made his way to the drivers side and climbed in. Was he really doing this? Had he agreed to go on a date with another man? Yeah he had been attracted to a couple of them but fuck this was a date that could lead to something more. Something permanent.
