He was staring at me with those hard hazel eyes. He had a blank expression that didn’t let me know what he was thinking. I gulped, and tried to calm down a little, but failed terribly. My hands were shaking as I was expecting the worst to happen.
Shadows sighed and finally moved, making me jump a little. He got up from his chair behind the desk of his office, and walked in my direction. I just bit my lip and kept looking to the front. He stood behind me, and whispered in my ear.
“Why?” I finally looked at him again. How should I put it? I thought, trying to find the right words to say.
“Cause I got fed up already.” I finally said.
“Fed up…” he repeated. “Fed up with what, doll?” he asked. You seriously asking me that?
I gulped again and sighed before answering. He was gonna smack my head against the desk when I told him about what.
“I got fed up of all this torture. I got fed up with this nonsense.” I said lowly. He laughed a little and got away from me, pacing the room. My heartbeat speed up; I didn’t like when he laughed like that.
“You got fed up with the torture. Well I’m sorry to hear that, doll.” He said, and got closer from behind, whispering in my ear again. “But life’s not fair sometimes.” He said, and chills went down my spine. He was too close. But he then moved and went to sit down in his chair again, and looked at me.
“I’m pretty sure you know why we kidnapped you, don’t you?” he asked and I nodded slowly. “Well you see that’s exactly why we can’t let you go.” He said.
“But I’m not asking for you to let me go!” I rushed and he gave me a glare. “Sorry… But really, that’s not what I’m asking you. I’m asking you to let me be part of the avenged sevenfold gang.” I told him.
Shadows leaned back on his chair and looked down, deep in thought.
“Why?” he asked.
“W-why?”
“Why do you wanna join us?” I stayed quiet for several seconds, just staring at him.
“Call me crazy if you want, but… I wanna take revenge of the person who did this to me.” I said serious. Shadows raised his eyebrow, a little surprised, but then a smirk appeared on his face. He then leaned closer to me, resting his elbows on the desk.
“You know, since we brought you here, you haven’t done nothing but amaze me, Ginger. Generally our victims don’t last longer than a week, maybe even two. But you… you and Amanda are something out of the ordinary. You’ve managed to stay here longer than I thought you would…suffering.” He said.
I wasn’t sure if I should take what he said as a compliment of if I should feel ashamed with myself. I really didn’t know how to react so I just stayed quiet, looking at him. He stared back with those penetrating eyes.
“Is that really what you want, Ginger? Cause once you’re in, there’s no way out.” His tone was serious. He wasn’t joking around, that was for sure.
I gulped, “I’m completely sure about it.” I told him. My thoughts went back to the night before in the barn; I really thought I had gone crazy…and to be honest, I still do. What had happened was completely fucked up, and that’s why I wanted to do this so badly. My mind was ready for the sickness that this ‘job’ required. I was sure about that.
Matt sighed and rubbed his forehead before looking at me again.
“Well, I never do this. Cause trust me, I’ve had plenty of victims asking me for the same favor, but it’s something I can’t do just because…but like I said, you’re something out of the ordinary. And it would be exciting seeing you on this side of the story.”
So he accepted me? Does this mean he actually wants me in the gang?
“So…” I said.
“So you’re in. But there’s one condition, doll.” He said. I kept quiet waiting for him to continue. “The Ginger you and all of us know, must be gone. All of her. Both mentally and physically.” He said.
I looked into his eyes for a couple of seconds before a twisted smirk appeared on my face. “Who’s this Ginger you’re talking about?” I said, and he smirked as well.
