Forgotten Faces

Mia´s POV

I was so happy about the letter. So Brian still wants me. And after two long weeks I will see him again this evening. And I will lie in his arms.
I was so excited I packed my bag in record time and Heather wasn’t taking much more time. We went to the waiting car.
Two hours later we were in the plane. I couldn’t sleep during the long flight I was too excited to see the guys again especially my guy.
Heather was sound asleep next to me. She said she will need all of her power when she will see Jimmy again.

Matt´s POV

Everything is working as planned. Jimmy got the message that both Heather and Mia are on the plane and will be here during this afternoon. A roadie and friend from us will pick them up and bring them to the hotel to settle in. After that he will bring them to our show.

Jimmy walked over to me, “Hey Matt, do you have a solution when Mia wants to see your ‘new girl’?! And did you tell Brian anything? I mean does he know that we will play the new song? And does he know that Mia will be in the audience? And…”
I looked at Jimmy, “No. I will tell her that ‘my girl’ is working today or anything. She will be too busy getting back together with Brian that she won´t recognize that there is no girl.
And with Brian… no it will be a surprise for him as well. I just hope that he will play along.”
Jimmy looked not totally convinced but nodded.

Brian´s POV

I knew that Matt and Jimmy are hatching a plot or something. They were talking quietly and looking my way. It wasn’t good at all if these two are planning some shit it will always mean someone gets hurt or something goes wrong.

I looked at my phone I haven´t received a message from Mia today. She was late.
She always wrote me some messages by now.
I typed into my phone:
Mia,
I miss you like crazy. I can´t wait to hold you in my arms again.
Brian
And after that I hit the send button. It was the truth even if it sounded crazy or not manly I gave a shit I just want her back.

Matt and Jimmy were talking to the sound technician and then came over to me.
“We will head over to the hotel get some rest then sound check, eat here at the restaurant and then let the show begin!” Matt was looking unusual happy, well he was a workaholic and he is devoted to the job but this was a little too much for my liking.
“Why are we not doing the sound check now and then getting to the hotel, like we always do?” I asked both of them,
Jimmy clapped me on the back, “Because I decided to change the schedule. And you know that you cannot reject any of my brilliant ideas. I know you will thank me later, believe me.”
And damn it he was right. Jimmy was my soft spot and he always got what he wanted. “Ok. Then let´s go.”

Mia´s POV

We arrived in the evening at the hotel. A friend of the guys had picked us up from the airport. He told us that we have now 2 hours to get some rest and then he will drive us to the Show.
I looked at my phone and saw a message from Brian.
Mia,
I miss you like crazy. I can´t wait to hold you in my arms again.
Brian
Oh how sweet was that. Only two hours and we would see us. But he already knew that.
So I wrote him:
Babe,
I miss you, too. Can´t wait to lie in your strong arms. Counting the minutes…
Mia

Brian´s POV

We were heading back to the stadium to get ready for the show. My phone buzzed.
I looked at it. Mia thank god finally:
Babe,
I miss you, too. Can´t wait to lie in your strong arms. Counting the minutes…
Mia
I couldn’t believe my eyes. She haven´t called me Babe since our break up. And can´t wait to lie in my arms…means that? I looked over to Matt “Did you talk to Mia? I received a message and I…” I showed him my phone with the message.
“I.. well..Yesterday I talked to her… We were agreeing that this thing between us is not what she wants and that… well… I think it means she wants you back man. Congrats.”
Then Matt turned away and was gone. I couldn’t stop myself from grinning. Why didn´t she call?!
In two weeks I will be with her again. Maybe I can talk her into coming to one of our last shows…

Matt´s POV

Fuck... I hadn’t thought that Brian and Mia were texting. That could have ruined my whole plan.
I wrote Jimmy to somehow figure out a plan that Heather and Mia are not allowed to text or write messages to us.
When someone can figures this one out than it would be him.
