Forgotten Faces

Matt´s POV

Mia was drifting on and of consciousness. Sometimes she even talked and then she was out again. After a couple of more hours it was morning and she could slowly move her body.
Brian stayed with us the whole time. I knew that he was about to go moments before she woke first the first time. But when she said both our names he told me that she needed him and he would stay.
I got a call from my sister to drive her to the airport. So I was glad that Brian would stay with her until I came back.
I kissed Mia´s forehead and went to the door. How hard it is to leave her alone…

Brian´s POV

I was waiting preparing something to eat when I saw Mia slowly sitting from the couch. I stopped the preparation and went over to her, “Hey…take it easy. Let me help you.”
She looked at me, “I know you might have told me this before, but why are you here? And what happened?”
I told her the whole story again it was the third time by now. “Oh yes, but where is Matt?”
I took a deep breath, always asking for Matt… sure…
“He had a call and needed to leave. I will stay with you. Can I do anything for you?”
She shook her head, then looked down at herself and looked at me in question, “I need a shower, Brian. Can you help me into the bath?!”
“I don’t think that you are strong enough for that. Maybe we should wait a couple of more hours…” Oh my thoughts were running wild… that was so wrong… her in the shower… oh damn!

Mia´s POV

I felt still weak but I think I was awake now and needed a shower. That was for sure,
with or without Brian´s help. I tried to stand and that worked surprisingly good.
Brian was by my side and helped me to the bathroom. “Ok. Wait, I will give you the clothes and towel and will help you. I won’t leave you alone. Got it?!”
“Ok, it’s not like you haven’t seen me naked anyway…”
Now, I was not so convinced that the idea to shower was that good but it was too late now.
He helped me with my skirt I let it slid down my legs. Then he grabbed the hem of my shirt and dragged it over my head. When I was only in my underwear we both stood there for a couple of seconds staring at the reaction from the other. I was the first to blink.
I stepped into the shower and threw the rest of my clothes to Brian.
The hot water felt so good…

Matt´s POV

I came back to Mia´s Apartment only an hour later and at first it seemed empty.
I went father inside. I heard that the shower was running. That idiot didn’t leave her alone, did he?! I can´t fucking believe it…

I opened the bathroom door and I saw that Mia stepped out of the stall wrapped into a towel.
Brian was waiting with his back to her. He looked at me with a questioning look.
I turned to Mia, she looked my way and smiled. “MATT… there you are. I am coming back to my senses. And I really needed this shower. I feel a lot better now!”
