Forgotten Faces

Mia´s POV

After Brian had left me I sank down on the cold kitchen tiles and just cried. My chest felt like my heart had been ripped out.
I didn’t know how much time past but I didn’t change my position just lay there and cried.

Heather´s POV

“Jimmy I haven´t heard from her since 2 days. And she didn’t answer my calls. I think something is wrong. Have you seen Brian lately?”
Jimmy looked a little guilty. “Yes, well I didn’t see him but I talked to him this morning. I asked what was going on and he said that he broke up with her… I don’t exactly know what went down between them. I wanted to tell you, I just kind of forgot…”
“You forgot?!!!! JIMMY, we have to see if she is alright…” I nearly shouted.
Matt came into the studio, “Who is alright?”
“Did you talk to Mia lately? I couldn’t reach her… and since Brian broke up with her…”
Matt looked stunned, “He did what?! No, I haven’t talked to her. She wanted to talk to Brian first… You think she is alright?”
“I will drive to her right now.” I grabbed my keys and went outside.
“Wait, we are coming with you.” Jimmy and Matt climbed into my car and we drove off.

Mia´s POV

I heard the knock on my door. But I still lay in the kitchen without any energy to get up.
After a few moments the door opened and I could see Heather´s figure in my doorway.
She looked around the room and then her eyes landed on me.
“Ohhh Mia… honey…Come on guys help me. Since when are you lying here?”
My tears had stopped at some point I had not enough fluids in my body to keep on crying. I saw Jimmy and Matt step around the couch. Matt kneeled next to me. “Let me help you up?!” He just scooped me up into his arms and carried me to the couch.

“Here is some water and a sandwich. You haven’t eaten in days, or?! You look horrible, sweetie.”
I mumbled a, “Thanks”
Matt was pushing my hair from my face, “What did he say to you?”
I shook my head.
“He told me that he couldn’t stand the thought that you two were together… even when it was before… And that this was only for the best. Well that is what he thinks anyway. But believe me Mia that was not easy for him.” Jimmy told me.

I looked at them one by one, “Please go away. I need some time.”
Heather stomped her foot, “No!! I won´t leave you alone like this. Someone will stay. End of the story.”
I looked at Matt, “Ok. Will you stay Matt?” He looked stunned then nodded, “Sure I will.”
“Now happy H? He will stay. Please just leave…” I begged.

Jimmy shoved Heather out the door, “We will call you tomorrow!” The door closed behing them.
