Chapter Sixteen
As we pulled into the studio’s parking lot we were about ten minutes late and everyone was there, I grabbed Nathan and held him on my him and grabbed the bag of baby stuff and Jimmy walked around and took the bag and put Payson on my other hip.
“Really Jim? Are you too lazy to carry your daughter?” I asked laughing
He laughed and nodded; he opened the door for me and led me around until we were where we needed to be.
“Look who made it!” Jason Berry shouted
. “He brought the gang too.” Matt Berry said
“Hi Matt, hi Jason.” I said
“Hey sexy.” Jason said
He had started calling me that forever ago.
“Hey mama.” Matt said
“Either one of you want to give Nathan a bottle and help me find a place for them to nap?” I asked
“Sure thing mama.” Matt said
I gave Nathan to Matt and Jimmy got two bottles ready.
“There’s a pile of blankets they can nap on in the other room, they won’t be able to hear us but we’ll be able to hear them.” Someone said
I turned around and it was Larry.
“Thank you Larry.” I said
“No problem, it’s good to have you well again. Jimbo here wouldn’t leave the bedroom at the house without you there, he was lost and sad.” He said
I smiled and kissed Jimmy’s shoulder and after Nathan and Payson were fed Matt and I laid them down for a nap. They would probably sleep for a few hours. I walked back in where jimmy was talking to some guy
“I’m about to kill you.” Jimmy said
“Why?” The guy asked
“Because I have mental problems” Jimmy said
“But don’t kill me” the guys said
“Because I need Lasik” Jimmy said
I face palmed and Brian laughed. Larry came in and smiled at us.
“We can go on tour.” He said
“When?” Brian asked
“We can start in October and go to March. U.S and Overseas.” He said
“Six months, on a bus with a baby.” Jimmy said
“I’d rather sit out of it Jimmy.” I said
He shook his head.
“I can stay with Val and her baby.” I said
“The overseas dates are from January to March.” Larry said
“So I can come home for your birthday.” Jimmy said
“And yours silly boy.” Brian said
“I’m still not comfortable with you not coming with us.” He said
“I think she’ll be okay with Val, Madison, Gena, and Lacey.” Matt said
Jimmy nodded and pulled me into a hug.
“Don’t kill me.” I said
“Sorry.” He said
“Oh Jimmy, Brian, and Brayden, I have something for baby Payson and baby Nathan.” Larry said
“Ouh what is it?” Jimmy asked like a giddy little girl
Larry handed me a bag and handed Brian a bag. I pulled whatever it was out and screamed.
“Oh my god its so cute!” I yelled
“What is it?” Jimmy asked
I turned it so the rest could see it.
“Awh it’s a little Avenged Sevenfold onsie, with my drums on it!” Jimmy exclaimed
“Ouh Nathan’s has my guitar on it. Thanks Larry.” Brian said
“They are both too big so they can wear it now and when they are bigger.” Larry said
I smiled and put the bag down and hugged him.
“Thank you.” I said
“No problem. You guys know all of you are like my family. Matt you’ll get one too when you baby is born.” He said
Matt smiled and I sneezed.
“Bless you.” Jimmy said
I laughed.
“Let’s get to noodling on our stuff.” Larry said
Everyone clapped and I sat down and watched Jimmy rock out on his drums.
“Brayden Jimmy wants you in his booth.” Larry said
I nodded and walked into his booth
. “Yes master?” I asked
He laughed and waved me over to his drum set.
“Sit.” He said
I shook my head violently.
“I’m not breaking them.” I said
“You won’t. you’ve seen how had I pound on them.” He said
“That was dirty.” I laughed
“Are you ten?” He asked
“Maybe.” I said He laughed.
“I’m going to teach you.” He said
“What song?” I asked
“Hmm wait I have an idea.” He said
He got up and left the booth and brought back Johnny, Brian and Zacky.
“What are you doing?” I asked
Jimmy sat down and started to play and then Johnny came in.
I don’t know what came over me but I grabbed the Microphone and started dancing to the beat.
“She says she’s no good with words but I’m worse. Barley stuttered out A joke of a romantic stuck to my tounge. And weighed down with words too overdramatic. Tonight it’s “it can’t get much worse” Vs. “No one should ever feel like..”” I sang
Everyone came in when they needed too. I saw matt watching us.
“I’m two quarters and a heart down, and I don’t want to forget how your voice sounds. These words are all I have so write them, I need them just to get by.” I sang
I took a breath and started dancing.
“Dance, dance we’re falling apart to half time. Dance, dance and these are the lives you love to lead. Dance this is the way they’d look if they knew how misery loved me............ You always fold just before you’re found out; drink up its last call. Last resort, but only the first mistake and I.... I’m two quarters and a heart down, and I don’t want to forget how you voice sounds. These words are all I have so write them, I need them just go get by........... I was out of breath from dancing and singing and I heard clapping. I looked up and the guys were clapping and Matt had entered the room.
“Who knew that we had a little singer on our hands.” I heard Larry say
“I don’t sing. Madison and I used to dance and sing around her bedroom all the time. It’s something I like to do.” I said
“You’re good. So is Maddie.” Brian said
I cocked my head to the side.
“She sings in the shower and to Nathan.” Brian said
I smiled and he nodded.
“I’m going to check on the babies.” Jimmy said
“You can play with them for a little bit.” Larry said
Jimmy smiled and walked off to the booth the babies were sleeping in.
“Did we really just play Fall Out Boy?” Brian asked
“Yes but it was fun.” Johnny said
“He was trying to teach me the drums. I didn’t want to break them.” I said
“You won’t… He pounds on them pretty hard.” Brian said
“Dirty.” Johnny and I said at the same time.
A few twenty minutes went by and Larry looked at me.
“Where Jimbo?” He asked
“I’ll go see.” I said
I left the booth and walked over to the one with the babies in and opened the door.
“Awh oh my god.” I awed
“What?” Brian asked
“Look.” I said pointing in the room.
Jimmy was asleep cuddling Payson and Nathan in his arms.
“I think it’s time to get them home.” Brian said
I nodded. I woke Jimmy up and we packed up the babies and drove home, I put Payson and Nathan in the crib thankfully they fit and Jimmy had found his way to the bedroom and was asleep. I crawled into bed with him.
“Goodnight baby, I love you.” I said
“I love you too.” He mumbled
“Really Jim? Are you too lazy to carry your daughter?” I asked laughing

“Look who made it!” Jason Berry shouted
