Blood will run forever
5. A new kind of fear
"Mhhhmmm! Mhhhhmmm!" All Madeleine could do is scream through the gag applied with force by the tall man, while the shorter one restrained her. It had happened so quick that she could do nothing to alert her family and the house guests- struggling, she was still no match as the 2 men dragged her away from the house to the nearby shed, a rustic wooden structure about 3 quarters the size of a barn. Hustled towards a waiting chair, she was forced into the chair and bound tightly with chains. Terrified, she gazed helplessly up at her attackers, their faces coming into view for the first time.
The tall one she recognized immediately- the picture she had come across before the "thing" had made its presence so frightfully clear. The shorter one she also knew- from the papers. His name was Michael Elden, a man who could aptly be described as a "ghost", responsible for some of the biggest robberies ever commited in America. When she was a street walker in Denver, she had only heard his name whispered with fear and respect amongst the underworld. Now here he was, in full living colour. Madeleine knew nothing but fear as Michael walked towards her with a cloth, while holding a hose. He was intent on waterboarding her...
