With My Dying Breath
It's been almost a month and a half since I reunited with my daughters and in this short amount of time, I've learned a whole lot about their daily life now but if they knew what I knew...they wouldn't have to live this life anymore. There's been several times I've tried to at least tell Serenity my secret but something always interfers and she has to leave and take care of business so to speak. Serenity has taught me how to hunt and showed me how she skins a kill either large or small and they keep their hides for the dogs they have. It's real survival if you ask me. I don't see how my daughters have lived just on eating deer, rabbit, or squirrel. I guess meat is meat. I just wish I could get some alone time with my daughters just to tell them what's been on my mind since she took me into their group of people. At least when I've been alone, I've been able to leave little messages and clues just in case something happens before I get to tell my secret.

It's been an overwelming joy to have dad back with Felicity and I but dad seems to have something on his mind that he wishes to tell either of us but something always breaks our moments to talk. I wonder what he wants to talk to us about? I guess we'll find out soon enough. Anyways in this month and a half my father has been here, I've taught him everything on how we survive and he's a really fast learner. I just wish he would come out hunting with us but he'd rather stay at the house and skin the animals and help Felicty with storing the meat which is understandable.
Right now I'm in the basement of our home grabbing some bullets and weapons for all of us and putting the walkie talkies on the same frequency. I clipped mine to my belt along with a few extra rounds of ammo and bullet belts for the machine gun that lies in front of me on the table. Today we have to go out of supplies since winter is almost here but we won't need a lot of things because the temperature never gets out of the 60s here in the winter. I left the basement with my machine gun strapped to my back and other weapons piled into my arms. I gave out the weapons to everyone along with the walkie talkies and extra ammo.
"So does everyone know what they're getting?" I asked looking right at Felicity. She could never make up her mind about what she wanted. She rolled her eyes and pulled a paper out of her pocket.
"I made a list so I wouldn't forget anything."
"About time you took my idea." I said jokingly. She rolled her eyes again and laughed with me. We all left the house and got into the cars. I was in the driver's seat of my truck of course. The others followed behind me as we left the house and started down the road towards Wal-Mart. It wasn't that long of a drive and I parked right in front of the building with the others lined up right behind me. We all piled right out of the vehicles and into the building.
"Everyone split up so we know that we get everything." I said and they nodded. Felicity went off with Sammy and her daughter Hannah. I grabbed a cart and laid my machine gun in front of me so I would have easy access to it. I pushed the large cart through the building and making sure I went down every isle getting things we would need.
I pushed my cart down the poorly stocked canned food section of the place and picked out a few things I knew we would like to eat. I placed can after can after can into the cart until the whole bottom was covering in nothing but aluminum cans. I went down a few more isles until I got to the beer and energy drink isle. I never understood why someone would put beer on one side and then energy drinks on the other side. It just doesn't make any sense what so ever. I grabbed some Heiniken, Budweiser, Coors, and a few others before heading away from the beer and trying to find something else would somewhat peek the interests I have.
I left the food section of the building since there was hardly nothing peeking the interest and went over to the dog food isle. That isle was packed with dog and cat food. I guess no one even cared about their animals when all this broke out. I picked up 4 large dog food backs and placed them on the bottom slot of the cart and grabbed some special dog treats for them. I knew they would love something a little extra. I pushed the cart out of the isle and into the clothing area when I heard a loud male scream in agony. I hauled my machine gun out of the cart and ran towards the screams. I turned the corner and into the hygiene isle where a Stray was ripping someone open. I ripped the knife from my belt and closed in on the dead being and shoved my blade right into its skull. I moved the body and looked down at the bloody mess of...oh god no..
"Dad!" I yelled falling to my knees and bringing his head into my lap. He opened his eyes and looked up at me.
"It's just...a scratch baby girl."
"Don't try to talk dad." I said taking one of my shirts off leaving me in only a tank top and I pressed the shirt to his open chest.
"Please...Serenity." I grabbed the walkie from my belt and pressed the button on the side.
"Everyone one get to the Mens Hygienic section right fucking now!! I need help!" I yelled into the walkie before clipping it to my belt.
"Serenity...There's something I need to tell you..."
"Dad you're going to be just fine. I'm going to help you." I said trying to keep my tears at bay.
"Please...I need to tell you. It will change everything."
"What is it dad?" I asked taking his hand in mine.
"I know how to end the Dead walking the earth."

so I'm gettting off here before the damn power decides to go out on me. There's a huge snow system coming by way and the wind is really fucking picking up.
