Getting Them Settled
"Are you taking the watch with Matt, Brian, and Jimmy Serenity?"
"I guess I could. I need to do some calls anyway tonight." I said sitting down with a plate of food.
"Alright. I'll show you all to your rooms once you've finished eating." They nodded and continued to eat the deer steaks that were placed on their plates. They complimented Felicity on how good she cooks and she couldn't help but smile.
Once everyone was finished eating, I volunteered to wash the dishes while Felicity showed Maxie, Lucas, and my cousins to their rooms. I reminded my sister to put guns in the room with my aunt and uncle and she just nodded her head before leaving the kitchen. It didn't take me long to do all the dishes that were used and I went up to my room and grabbed my shot gun before coming into the living room and sitting down in my chair by the window. I hope tonight is as quiet as its always been.

The night was quiet, thankfully, and I radioed out to anyone who could hear but again my calls went unanswered. I think after I get a few hours of sleep, I'll take my aunt, uncle, and cousins out of the house to get things that might need. I need a few things myself anyways. I watched as the sun came up over the ocean and right onto my facing warming me up. It was unusually chilly in the house but I didn't want to start a fire in the fireplace and make it too damn hot for anyone to stand. Footsteps could be heard in the house and I looked over my shoulder at Dante. He was fully dressed and ready to take the watch from me.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked turning back around and looking outside.
"Yes. Why don't you go on u and get some sleep. I'll wake you in a few hours." I nodded and stood to my feet.
"Can you do me a favor?" I asked handing him the shotgun.
"Sure."
"Radio out in about 20 minutes and see if anyone answers. If someone does, come and wake me after getting their information." I said yawning and stretching my arms above my head.
"Will do Serenity." I nodded and left the living room and going up the staircase and into my bedroom. I changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt before sliding under the covers. My body relaxed as I became warmer and I slowly drifted into a peacefull sleep.
