Things I Can Change

*April POV*

"Ugh.." l groaned with my face into pillow.. I rolled over and realized that it was 11:45 I wanted to stay in bed, then I thought about Brian.. His hair how it was all over the pace, but it suited him, his smile it just makes I feel happy, or his laugh something about just makes me want to laugh, and his arms toned and tattooed I wondered how it would feel like to be wrapped in his arms.. Then I thought about all the bad things that happened to me Brian always appeared in her mind when I was having a bad day.. I've only known the guy for like 4 days, and I already falling for him.. I gets dressed to get up and get ready for the job interview I have later on that day at 2:45, it's at a tattoo place near the bar that Emma works..

I pushed those thoughts out of My mind and rolled out of bed walked into the kitchen finding Emma in the kitchen cooking eggs, bacon, sausages, and my favorite chocolate chip pancakes with peanut butter... It maybe wired but it tastes pretty damn good..

"Hey, Chick. I was wondering if you were gonna ever get up.." Emma said while looking at the clock on the stove with a laugh while fixing me a plate of food..

"Are you feeding a damn army or something?" l said with a laugh while starting at the mass of food.. Emma laughed at that statement.. "No, I just like to eat."

"Fair Enough." I shrugged my shoulders and fixed her plate she was interrupted from her phone going off *Turn on... I see red, Adrenaline crash & crash my head, Nitro junkie, pin me dead,And I see red*
Both of us jump slightly from the loud noise..I wondered who could be texting me, considering the only per who has her phone number is Emma and the tattoo shop I have a job interview at later.. Emma asks "Who is it??" she asks while pour both her self and I a cup of coffee with a smirk on her face..

"I uh, don't know.. let me check.." I says hesitantly pick up my phone unlocking, looking at Emma who has a smirk on her face, she's up to something.. it's an unknown number I start freaking out a little, then I reads the message..

*Hey, It's Brian from the bar.. I wanted to remind you about the barbeque at Matt's tomorrow.. no need to bring anything, just yourself and a bathing suit.. :) Brian* I Starting thinking to myself how the hell did he get my number? then she looks over at Emma who's leaning up against the counter drinking her coffee..

"You gave him my number?" I ask Emma a hint of curiosity, I mean I'm not mad.. I mena normally I would be but come on it's Brain Freaking Haner Jr..

"Yeah, I left my phone at the table, I guess he went through my phone and got it.." Emma says while eating a pancake.. "Besides I can see that you like him, and kinda likes you too.." She finishes her sentence and her eggs..

"I guess you're right.. I should probably text him back.. right?" I asks unknowingly not sure how to reply.. Acting like I'm twelve year old girl again..

"Yeah you probably should.." Emma tells her while she gets up form the island and goes upstairs to figure out what to wear for shift later today.. "I'm gonna try and figure out what to wear to work.. Still not sure but can you help me??" she asks while looking at April with her best puppy eye impression..

"Yes, of course.. i have an interview at 2:45, when does you're shift start?"
"Uh, 2:30.." she says while looking at her schedule on her phone that Eva texted to her..
"Ok, that gives me enough time to get ready.." I say with a smile hoping that I get the job.. With that she walks up the stairs with her coffee mugs in her hand..

I look at my phone and still hadn't replied to Brian back at her phone still not sure what to say..
So after a few minutes of thinking I go with *Ok :) sure we don't need to bring anything? April* Within a matter of minutes he responds and my heart races, I get butterflies with * No, nothing else I think we got it covered... but if we need anything I'll let you know.. :) Brian*
She smiles at smiley face even though it's a message it just makes me smile.. *Ok, just let me know, see ya later April* I wait for a reply so I shove a pancake in my mouth and starts to eat and drink some coffee realizing I put too much peanut butter..
*Ok I will. see you later :) Brian*I see Matt looking at Emma he gives her a small wave she waves back.. They would be so I smiled at the message damn that man and his smiley faces.. I finished eating putting my plate and coffee mug in the dishwasher.. Now I go upstairs and pick out something for me to wear to the job interview , after deciding for 10-15 minutes I go with jeans, a Black Sabbath shirt with a denim jacket that I borrowed form Emma, and boots with heels.. I walk across the hall and I help Emma pick something out for her shift.. So we decide on ripped jeans, black converse, and a AC/DC shirt..

We were both getting ready to go, she did my eyeliner and smokey eyes, and nude lipstick.. I look in the mirror and go "Holy Shit, I look hot!." I say in complete shock I never really wore makeup unless it was to cover up a bruise or something.. I try not to cry then Emma looks and see's me and she wraps her arms around my shoulders and says "You look amazing, now don't cry cause then I'll start.. besides you have to do my make up.." she says with a smile and a chuckle..

We trade seats and I do her makeup I put on some eyeliner but not too much I don't want her looking like a raccoon.. I do a shimmery brown eyeliner and a little lipstick, not like she needs any... I finish with her and she says "I look good.." while looking in the mirror.. We both hug each other and grab our purses and walk down stairs and walk towards the front door.. We stop outside the front door only because we see Matt & Brian playing basketball shirtless.. I grasp onto Emma's arm and she goes "Ow, what's that for??" she asks with her back towards the guys.. I tell her "Uh, well Matt & Brian are playing ball, and they're not wearing shirts.." She turns around with her key still in the lock her mouth is open wide just like mine, we close them before they look over.. And of course they look while we walk to the car, we both try not to trip over our own feet from being nervous and butterflies are now like anvils just all over the place..

They'd look cute together.. I look over at her and she smiles, looks down and waves.. She gets in the car and starts it, Brian looks at me and my heart is racing like I'm about ot have a heart attack.. He smiles I almost lost my balance but I regained plus the car was there. slightly embarrassed I wave back with a smile.. I get in the car, putting on my seatbelt and turning on the radio.

We back out of the drive way with Metallica blaring..
...and the road becomes my bride I have stripped of all but pride
So in her I do confide

We all share a laugh and a smile because this song was playing when we all met each other.. I smile at it i think today is gonna be a great day..

I know, i know it's been a month.. in the process of moving.. so i might not be near a computer for a while, but i'll try.. so do you all like it??
