Matt’s POV
As I start to walk back to my house I couldn’t help but glance back at her quickly when Brian wasn’t looking, then I turned around and kept on walking. I was too busy thinking about Emma, I mean I just met her, she seems interesting.. Like how she moved to the music that was playing, how her hair shined in the sun, how she looked in those shorts and that Slayer shirt or her tattoos on her thigh which I saw only a little of it. I mean it didn’t bother me that she had curves I actually liked that about her I again I just met her..Or how she smiled when I introduced myself and how her skin felt when I shook her hand, and how my heart rate went up when she looked down when I shook her hand. It was too damn cute..

“Dude, Matt..” Brian said with a hand on my shoulder shaking me out of my daze as we walked into my house taking off our sunglasses and placing them on the counter.

“Yeah, what’s up?” I asked him while grabbing two beers out of the fridge one for me and one for him.

Brian pulls a chair sits down and opens his beer, I do the same he takes a swig of his beer then he says “So, what’s the deal?” he asks looking me in my eyes.

“What do you mean?” I ask him like I have no idea what he’s talking about, hoping that he’d buy it, which he didn’t, he looks at with the ‘Really Dude, Be Honest’

He scoffs and says “Dude, I saw how you were looking at her, and I just might think you might have a thing for her..”He looks at me with his eyebrow raised, the thing is I know I can lie to him even though I know you’re not supposed to lie to your best friend..
I look at him and I say “I don’t have a thing for the neighbor,” I say while getting up the throwing our beer bottles in the trash can
“I’m just trying to make them feel welcome, and besides I saw how you were looking at April..” I say trying to defend myself..

He look and tries to think of something to say “Fair enough, but you were looking too.” With a look on his face..
“You looked first..” I say, looking down at the marble counter, now we are starting to fight like a bunch 2 year olds.

“Ok,” he puts his hands up in defense “we were both looking, can you blame us?” before I could say anything his phone rings.. He looks at his phone and he doesn’t look happy he groans then looks at me and says,

"It’s her.” And by his tone it was his ex-Rachel, they split a while ago.. “I gotta go and take this, we’ll talk later maybe meet up at Johnny’s tomorrow?” he says to me.

“Alright, man good luck with that..” referring to the phone conversation that he doesn’t want to have.. I give him a bro hug and walk him to the door.. Then a turn around, and stand in the door way for a minute and I see Emma still taking a few boxes out of the truck I debate going over there and helping her, or staying here and give her time to settle in..

As I'm watching her, walking to the truck back to the house I notice how she moves, how her boobs bounce a little or how hips sway when she walks. I mean yeah I'm kinda been creepy standing in my door way, looking no admiring, ok I'm staring at her.. Just seeing her makes my heart race, makes me smile.. Not sure what it is but there’s just something about her.. Ok I need to get back inside before I go and jump on her, cause with how I'm looking at her I just might…

Time for a cold shower..
