Chapter 1- Things I Can’t Change

“I DON’T CARE!!” Emma yells towards her soon to be ex-boyfriend Travis, in which she lives with in Texas..
“God Damn, Em will you just fucking listen to me please?” Travis pleads with her, while she’s walking through the apartment throwing her things into duffel bag and two suitcases...
“No I have nothing to say to you, I want nothing to do with you...” She says while still packing if you can call it that in between tears.. Travis walks over to her, placing his hands on each of her shoulders looking into her now teary brown eyes, his eyes green and full of remorse and regret…
“Look, Babe I’m sorry I didn’t mean to do it, I was really stupid, drunk and pissed at you that night, and…” she looks down at the floor as a tear falls she sighs and looks at him..
“I regret it, every second and if I could I’d take it back, come home to you and say I’m sorry a thousand times over..”He says while still holding her shoulders and looking into her eyes that are now starting to water at his words..
“Really? Do you mean that?” She says with a doubtful sigh, looking into his green eyes..
“Of course honey, you know that you are my precious angel, and I’d really like it if you’d stop packing,and let’s start making dinner…
“Ok.. I love you..” She says while putting her duffel bag on the floor wrapping her arms around Travis’s neck, Travis wrapping his arms around her small frame..
“ Love you too..”He says while still hugging her.. she breathes a sigh of relief that everything is gonna be ok..For now..
