Shopping with Michelle is like being being chained to the back of a moving monster truck with your ass scraping the ground, infact I'd probably prefer that. So when she suggested lunch I almost flew to the nearest restaurant. As we sat with our food she began looking at me funny.

'What?' I asked, mouth full of fries.

'Has Brian mentioned anything to you or Jimmy about us getting married?'

Oh shit, I'm so bad at lying.

'N-no... Why?'

'He's been hinting a lot lately, not that I'm complaining it just seems a little strange he hasn't mentioned anything yet.'

'Not to me anyway.' I laughed it off and stuffed my face with fries again.

'Is he cheating on me?' I almost spat everything out.

'Why would you think that?!'

'It may be a guilt thing, that he wants to get married. You know?'

'Or maybe he just loves you and wants to make a big commitment to you?' I reassured her.

After our shopping trip we met the guys in the park.

'You should of seen the fucking duck, Rory, he was a stallion duck!' Jimmy proceeded to tell me, his words slurring and his grin widening.

We all headed back to Jimmy's to drink.

'So I was thinking.' Jimmy began. 'What if you... You know.. Moved in with me?'

'Oh my god, Jimmy, I'd love to!' I embraced him and smothered him in a million kisses.

'Whats going on in here?' Johnny wiggled his eyebrows.

'Wanna join, short shit?' Jimmy suggested, wiggling his eyebrows back at him. I gently slapped his chest as we all laughed. 'Come on, we gotta tell everyone.' Jimmy beamed, jumping around like a little kid before grabbing my hand and skipping into living the room.

'So, we wanna tell you guys something.' I laughed as Jimmy carried on skipping around the room. We were replied with a chorus of 'what?' Before he finally settled down, gripping my hand tightly.

'Welcome to OUR home.' The grin never leaving his face.

'Congratulations guys!' Everyone said whilst they jumped up to come and hug us both.

A lot more alcohol, pizza and fun proceeded through the night. The only people left awake were Jimmy, Brian and I in the kitchen.

'So when are you gonna ask her, Bri? She was grilling me while we were out today, you know how much I hate lying.'

'I don't know, I'm so nervous, I don't know where, how or when to ask her.'

'Why not in the park? Where you guys used to meet all the time?' Jimmy suggested. 'Make it all romantic with candles and rose petals and shit.'

'Yeah, that'd be great!' I said, mini high fiving Jimmy before resting my head into his chest, causing him to play with my hair. 'We can help you out, get the place ready while you get her, we can throw an engagement party straight after.'

'You guys are so awesome!' Brian rushed up to us and hugged us both before going to sleep next to his future wife.

'Do you ever think we'll get married?' Jimmy asked, arms still wrapped around me.

'We don't need to.' I smiled, 'We have each other and all the love we need, no need for a piece of paper and a ring.'

'This is why I love you, happy without extravagant on goings.'

Every time he kisses me it's just like the first time all over again. I'm one to coil away from any kind of affection, well, I was. If anyone were even to mention the 'L' word I'd instantly start making gagging noises and swiftly change the subject, growing up it was always the same,

'You'll find that special guy one day, Aurora! And you're gonna be on your ass with how swept off your feet you are!'

Again I'd totally disagree and recoil in disgust as the thought of falling in love and actually being happy not only sickened me but terrified me also.

Yet here I am, Jimmy in tow just realising how much in love I actually am. I can't imagine my life without him, I really can't. He always brings a smile to not only my face but everyone's. No one has ever hated Jimmy because of the type of person he is. The fun loving, bubbly, full of beans, do anything for you kinda guy.

I love him, and I'm pretty sure I'm on my ass right now and crumbled into little, tiny pieces with how much I've fallen for him.

This is the man I am spending my life with, forever and always.
